Shunned By An Alpha, Cherised By A Lycan
Chapter 114
?Chapter 114:
The clock on the wall ticked away, reminding me that time wasn’t waiting for me to get my act together. It was already 7:45, and I had to get to the gallery soon. Beingte wasn’t an option, especially not with the way everyone already looked down on me. I was barely holding on as it was. But how could I focus on work when my mind waspletely wrapped around him? Why does he do this to me?
I sighed, knowing I had to eat something before I left. If I didn’t, I’d probably faint—or worse—cause another scene at the gallery. I speared a piece of lettuce with my fork and shoved it into my mouth, barely tasting it. The cool crunch was almost mechanical, like I was on autopilot. The taste wasn’t even important anymore. I washed it down with thest of my orange juice, letting the pulpiness slide down my throat.
But as soon as the ss hit the table, something shifted. I couldn’t exin it, but I felt strange—off. My head began to spin, and the room around me seemed to blur at the edges. It was like the ground tilted beneath me, and I had to grab the table for bnce. Panic seized my chest, squeezing tight.
What’s happening?
My vision doubled, and a wave of nausea hit me hard. I tried to stand up, but my legs felt like jelly. I slumped back into the chair, my body refusing to cooperate. My breathing grew shallow, and I blinked rapidly, trying to clear the fog from my mind. But it wasn’t going away. If anything, it was getting worse.
And then, Ryder. I could feel him—his presence, his worry. It was like he was suddenly there with me, filling my mind, cutting through the haze. His voice was sharp, urgent.
“Jasmine, what’s wrong?”
I tried to respond, but my thoughts were a mess. Everything felt jumbled, like my brain couldn’t make sense of what was happening. My mouth opened, but no words came out. I wanted to scream, to tell him something—anything—but my body wasn’t responding.
“Jasmine, answer me!”
His voice grew more insistent, but I couldn’t focus. Everything was slipping away, the world spinning faster. I felt like I was falling, being pulled under by some invisible force.

“…help… me…”
That was thest thing I could think before everything went ck.
Seraphina’s POV
I rushed into the room, my heart hammering in my chest. As soon as I saw Jasmine, I froze. She was slumped over the table, her head resting against the te. Her skin was so pale it was almost white, and she wasn’t moving.
“Jasmine?” My voice trembled as I hurried to her side. Her face was cold to the touch, her breathing shallow and uneven. Panic surged through me. This wasn’t right. Something was very, very wrong.
” Mistress, can you hear me?” I shook her gently, my hands trembling. “Please, wake up. Please.”
She didn’t respond. Her lips were parted slightly, but no sound came out. Her pulse was weak, barely there under my fingertips. My chest tightened with fear, and a single thought shot through my mind like lightning. Wolfsbane.
I whispered the word under my breath, my voice barely audible. My hands moved to her forehead, checking for any sign of what had happened. But how could it be Wolfsbane? I had been the one to serve her breakfast. No one else hade near her food. I made sure of that!
“Who gave her Wolfsbane?” I muttered to myself, my voice cracking.
My heart raced faster. Tears stung the back of my eyes as I tried to think of what to do. This couldn’t be happening—not to her. She didn’t deserve this.
Alpha Ryder would kill me if anything happened to her. I could almost hear his voice in my head, furious and cold. But right now, I didn’t care about that. I just wanted to help her.
I had to find someone. I couldn’t do this on my own. Maverick! He would know what to do.
