?Chapter 322:

Without thinking, I darted into the middle of the road, nting myself in front of the car. Tires screeched as Enzo mmed on the brakes, the sound grating against my already frayed nerves.

“Jasmine!” I shouted again, desperation wing at my voice. But the door didn’t open. She didn’te out.

Instead, the passenger door swung open, and out stepped Enzo, tall andposed as ever. Except this time, there was no smooth charm or polite indifference. His sharp cheekbones were set in a hard line, his dark eyes filled with anger that mirrored my own.

His resemnce to Jasmine hit me like a fucking freight train. How the hell had I missed it before? The same piercing gaze, the same sharp edges to their features.

My heart raced faster than before. I wanted to see her—at least a glimpse. He was dressed in a casual shirt and jeans, which was quite unusual for the perfect Enzo, who was always well-dressed. This only implied that he had hurriedly rushed down to my pack.

“She doesn’t want to talk to you, Alpha Ryder,” he said, his voice calm but cutting, every word dripping with contempt. “So, I’ll give you the honor of stepping out of the way.”

I swallowed hard, my fists clenching at my sides. Ace growled, urging me to shove this asshole out of the way and drag Jasmine out of that car if I had to. But I knew that wouldn’t fix this.

“Enzo,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady, even though my chest felt like it was being crushed. “Please. Let me talk to her.”

He crossed his arms, tilting his head slightly as he studied me. “You had plenty of chances to talk to her. You had months to tell her the truth. But you didn’t, did you? And now? Now you want to fix everything with a fucking conversation?” He snorted, the soundced with disgust. “Not happening.”

The words were like a p to the face, but I stood my ground. “You don’t understand—”

“No,” he snapped, stepping closer, his voice rising. “You don’t understand. She’s my sister, Ryder. My fucking blood. And you? You broke her.”

    ???????? ?????????? ? ????????????????.?????

His words hit harder than any punch, and I felt my stomach twist into knots. “Enzo,” I said, my voice dropping, pleading. “She’s my mate. You know what that means. I can’t—”

“Don’t,” he interrupted sharply, his eyes narrowing. “Don’t throw that mate bullshit at me. Mates don’t lie to each other. They don’t hide entire fucking brothers and secrets. You don’t get to use that as an excuse.”

I swallowed hard, my throat dry as I nced toward the car. She was in there. I could feel her—her pain, her anger, her heartbreak. And it was all because of me.

“Jasmine!” I called again, my voice breaking. “Please, just—juste out and talk to me. Five minutes. That’s all I’m asking.”

For a moment, there was nothing but silence. Then, the car door cracked open, and my heart fucking stopped.

She stepped out slowly, her movements stiff, her arms crossed tightly over her chest like she was trying to hold herself together. Her eyes met mine, and the sheer devastation I saw there nearly brought me to my knees.

“Ryder,” she said, her voice cold and detached, so unlike the fiery Jasmine I knew. “Go back to your pack.”

My chest tightened, and I took a step closer. “Jasmine, please. Don’t do this. I can exin—”
