?Chapter 363:

Jasmine’s POV

Things had been going… fine. Or at least, fine by the chaotic standards of my life.

Sure, there was a main viin lurking somewhere out there, probably sharpening their metaphorical ws and biding their time. But I wasn’t about to let that ruin my mood. No, I was going to pretend everything was perfectly alright, even if I had to force it with every fiber of my being. That’s what I’d been doing, because I know only cowards hide around.

Today, Enzo wasing.

Enzo—the little brother I’d missed out on having for so many years. Thanks to the Thanes (and yes, that sarcasm was fully intentional), we had been robbed of what should have been a sibling bond. But in the short time I’d spent with him, I’de to love him fiercely. He was everything I didn’t know I needed: protective but cheeky, sweet but sharp. He reminded me of the family I once had, but also made me believe in the family I was building here.

Ryder had mentioned that Enzo’s visit had something to do with pack affairs. The elders were calling the shots again, which honestly made my blood boil. But this time? This time, they would have to keep their wrinkled mouths shut. I wasn’t the omega breeder they had once assumed me to be. I was Jasmine—freaking—viper. The blood of warriors ran through me, and if they thought for a second I was going to let them steamroll over me or my family, they had another thinging.

Besides, Silverw was now part of our pack. That alone was enough to stir things up. And if I knew Enzo, he’d be striding in with his usual charm and sharp wit, ready to handle business.

But before I could meet him, there was the small matter of getting dressed.

“Stop squirming,” Seraphina said as she tried to wrestle me into a flowy top that had somehow be too snug overnight.

“I’m not squirming!” I protested, though I totally was.

La, ever snarky, piped up in my head. “She’s right, you know. You’ve been getting a bit… let’s say, rounder.”

I growled—mentally, of course. “I’m pregnant, La. It’s called growth. You’re supposed to be supportive.”

“I am supportive!” La shot back. “I’m supporting all the extra weight you’re putting on. It’s a full-time job, honestly.”

“Oh my goddess, will you shut up?” I muttered out loud, earning a confused look from Seraphina.

“Talking to your wolf again?” she asked, her lips twitching with amusement.

“Unfortunately,” I muttered, shooting a re at my reflection. “She’s got opinions about my weight.”

Seraphina chuckled. “Well, if it makes you feel any better, you look radiant.”

La snorted. “Radiant? Sure, if radiant means looking like a puffed-up marshmallow.”fna66b ???s ??????? ?s ?????? ?? FindN0vel/fna66b

I groaned, rubbing my temples. “La, I swear to the moon goddess, if you don’t shut up—”

“Are you arguing with yourself?” Ryder’s voice cut in as he appeared in the doorway, looking as calm and collected as ever.

“Not now, Ryder,” I said, holding up a hand.
