Shunned By An Alpha, Cherised By A Lycan
Chapter 64
?Chapter 64:
“Gross!” I screamed.
Damn it. Before my eyes could take in any more of his nude form, I turned away, covering my face with my hands and pressing them against the bed.
“If you’re done with your little show,” Ryder said with a chuckle, “I’ll let you know you should get dressed and head to the park field for training.”
“Get out! Just leave my room!” I yelled at the top of my lungs, still not daring to look at him. The image of his nude body was going to live rent-free in my head.
Only when I heard the door close behind him did I peek. The bastard was gone.
“Moon Goddess,” the words tumbled out of my mouth, followed by a deep sigh of relief at the sight of a Ryder-less room.
Damn! I pped my forehead, a loud groan escaping my throat. “What game is he ying at? First, he gave me that silly excuse about his room and slept in mine, filling the space, the air, with his alluring scent…”
Subconsciously, I sniffed the air. His scent still lingered, and I felt my stomach tighten. “By the Moon Goddess, he smells so amazing, even I can’t deny it.” Shrugging off the distraction, my mind went back to Ryder, and my anger resurfaced.
“Then, he had the audacity to lean so close to me, his body brushing against mine. I almost lost it right there and then. Is that the Lycan style of perfect seduction?”
I shook my head, trying to clear the haze. “Get a grip, Jasmine.” I couldn’t let Ryder’s charms distract me.
But then those abs—perfectly sculpted, not too subtle, and still not so firm that he looked like a gym rat. Those piercing eyes… I found myself still drooling over his body. pping my forehead for a second time, I shivered. “For real, I need to get past that.”
With thoughts of Ryder shoved to the back of my mind, I headed to the restroom to shake off the lingering tension. A cold shower was the right solution.
The cool water cascaded over me as I shut my eyes, allowing it to wash through me. The pent-up anger I’d once had melted away.
Just as I stepped out of the bathroom, Seraphina stood waiting, her small eyes scanning me with concern.

“Good morning, Mistress Jasmine,” she curtsied. “Alpha Ryder doesn’t tolerateteness for training. We have to get you prepared as soon as possible.” I’d almost forgotten—training at the pack field. Something I wasn’t prepared for. In a rush, Seraphina handed mebat boots, ck spandex leggings, a sports bra, and Nike Zoom Soldier shoes.
“Don’t look so pale. What’s the worst he could do?” I scoffed. “There’s nothing humiliating that hasn’t already happened to me that I can’t handle.”
“You don’t understand, Mistress,” her nervous tone distracted me from fastening my sports bra. I looked up at her shaky eyes. Was he really that strict?
I slipped on thest of my gear, and Seraphina led me to the training field. As we stepped out, I was struck by the number of Lycans before me. Strong, powerful, and burly, they exuded an aura of confidence and strength. Even the air was filled with lycanthropic hormones. This was the major reason Ryder’s pack was highly respected—no wonder my father was intimidated.
I scanned the gathering, my eyes widening at the sheer number of skilled warriors. There was no way half of these men couldn’t take down an entire pack.
I was about to move toward where some female Lycans were huddled in small groups when I saw him—big, tall, andmanding. Heavens, was this the same guy who had slept in my room? He looked so different, but that was Ryder—a new personality for a new gathering.
As soon as he saw me, Ryder strode up to me, his face strict, the total opposite of the yful, taunting looks from earlier. My heart skipped a beat as I dropped my gaze to his hands. He wore ck sweatpants, simr shoes to mine, and the male version of my tank top. Oh wow, couple goals.
“Forty minutes, Jasmine,” he said, his voice firm. “And you’re sauntering in here one hour and twenty minuteste.”
