Shut Up, Young Lady, Obediently Hand Over The Money And Don't Confess!
Chapter 220 : The Capable Miss Zervanie
Just like a scene from a shoujo manga, it was happening to Zervanie in real life.
But it didn’t last long.
Felyn caught the airborne hat and pressed it back onto her head.
“Young lady, I just saved your life again.”
The warmth of his strong embrace quickly left, and a flicker of reluctance and disappointment passed through Zervanie’s eyes.
As he helped her back to her feet, the first thing she did was fix her hair to make sure no one had noticed anything.
Finally, I get some time alone with Felyn. No one better come and ruin it!
“Felyn, what are you doing he—”
He pointed to the broom he’d thrown aside earlier to catch her. “Selling my labor to earn some miserable, worthless course credits.”
Zervanie clearly didn’t catch the sarcasm.
“I mean I’m cleaning classrooms.”
He added the clarification. “You’re getting more unsteady when you walk. That’s the third time you’ve tripped. Are you trying to act like someone with mobility issues or something?”
“I am not! I just wasn’t paying attention!”
Felyn thought back—Zervanie had been falling down a lot lately. She’d tripped several times during the Seal Competition too.
“Shouldn’t you go get a proper checkup at a clinic?”
“There’s no need at all! I’m super healthy!” Zervanie stomped her foot and strutted a few circles around him to prove her balance, even bending backward to show off her flexibility.
The way she was so desperate to prove herself was almost comical.
Felyn tapped his temple. “Honestly, I think it’s your head
that needs checking.”
“Felyn!”
She lightly punched his shoulder.
“But still… thanks for earlier. If not for you, I probably would’ve caused a huge commotion.”
Zervanie leaned in close as she thanked him.
Falling down was one thing, but if her identity were revealed inside the academy, she’d be punished for sneaking into St. Andros without permission. Public opinion wouldn’t be kind either.
“No big deal. I just happened to be passing by and saw you. But what are you doing in the academy?”
Zervanie replied calmly, without a single hint of guilt. “I’m here to experience student life. I’m working on a song for the youth demographic, so I came looking for inspiration.”
It wasn’t entirely a lie.
She’d made up the excuse on the spot earlier to convince Linda, but after spending so much time searching for Felyn, she really did think it might make a great song.
A love song for students. A love song for Felyn.
Felyn accepted the explanation without suspicion.
“So? Have you found any inspiration yet?”
“Not yet.”
After entering the school, Zervanie’s mind had been entirely focused on Felyn. She hadn’t paid attention to anything else.
—Just watching isn’t enough. I need to experience it for real.
She watched as Felyn picked the broom up off the ground.
She figured she’d spend a little time with him first before bringing up the dungeon party idea. That way, it wouldn’t come off as too sudden.
“Felyn, can I… clean with you?”
He blinked. “Are you sure?”
“Mhm. If it helps me find inspiration, I’m sure.”
Ten minutes later—
Felyn pushed open the door to an old classroom. Dust billowed out like a raging beast.
Zervanie stood frozen in place. She hadn’t expected such an ancient room to exist at St. Andros.
The dust here probably predated her grandfather’s entire life.
“Felyn, don’t tell me this is the…”
The abandoned classroom looked like it had been sealed away for centuries. Thick cobwebs hung from the corners, grime-coated the windows so thickly that sunlight struggled to pass through.
It looked like a place the world had forgotten.
“I’m really short on credits, so I picked the hardest cleaning job available,” Felyn said, rolling up his sleeves and opening a window.
“You’re not seriously helping, right? You’ll just end up ruining your clothes.”
Zervanie shook her head and took off her mask, revealing her stunning face.
Felyn blinked. The moment she revealed her face, the room seemed to brighten.
Those sky-blue eyes held a light that pierced straight into the soul.
Her beauty—what fans called a “divine miracle”—made even the dust seem unworthy of getting close.
Zervanie was gorgeous, whether on stage or off.
“I said I’d help, didn’t I? I meant it.”
She pulled a hair tie from her pocket and gently bit it with her teeth.
Then, removing her hat, she gathered her long silver-white hair into a high ponytail and tied it up with smooth, practiced hands.
“Let’s do our best, Felyn!”
With a radiant smile and a voice as clear as a bell, she breathed new energy into the dusty room—and into Felyn himself.
One hour later.
Zervanie was slumped over a desk, using her pinky finger to hook a strand of hair away from her lips.
She tugged endlessly at her collar and kept dabbing her forehead with a handkerchief.
“I… I can’t go on anymore…”
This was way more exhausting than performing on stage.
And to think she’d tried to act tough in front of Felyn earlier… She could slap her past self right now.
Clutching her aching waist, she slowly stood upright.
—Riiip~
Zervanie’s back really wasn’t in great shape. The intense physical labor had left her wincing in pain.
The door creaked open again—Felyn had returned with supplies.
“Wow, is it actually clean here? Zervanie, I didn’t think you were this good at cleaning.”
In his memory, Zervanie’s room was always a mess—panties and socks flying everywhere, not to mention stacks of adult magazines.
For her to clean this thoroughly? Something was up.
What Felyn didn’t know was that Zervanie had put in extra effort because she was worried about him—that if she did a poor job, he’d get blamed or miss out on credits.
She’d worked even harder than she would’ve for her own room.
If her fans ever found out that their goddess Zervanie had swept a filthy classroom for a guy… they might just lose their minds.
“I’ve always been good at cleaning, okay? I just used to be lazy. I’m a lot more diligent now—I clean every day,” Zervanie emphasized her ‘ideal wife’ qualities, trying to redeem her image in Felyn’s eyes.
“If you ever have stuff like this again, just call me! I actually enjoy it!” she added, puffing out her chest with pride.
Even though she’d just sworn never to show off again, she couldn’t help it in front of him.
“Oh, really? That’s great. Then no need to wait for ‘next time.’ I’ve still got books to move, water to fetch, trash to dump, and a whole library section to sort today.”
“Wait—Felyn, you do all this every day?!”
Zervanie looked at him with worry. Is this how he’s living? Is he being bullied or something?
“Nope.” Felyn waved it off. “This is just my semester workload. You said you wanted to experience student life, right? How about doing all my jobs today? I’ll rack up a ton of credits that way.”
“…What?!”
“So I’m just free labor to you now, huh?!”
