"Miss Daiyi, you don't have a fever, do you?"

Bernice placed her hand on Daiyi's forehead, finding it somewhat hard to believe.

It was afternoon, and the autumn sun shone directly on everything in the house.

Two beautiful young women sat on the sofa, their exquisite faces clashing with the simple decor of the home.

"You want to help Felyn and Viloti get together?"

"Yes." Daiyi gently removed Bernice's hand, looking at the guard miss in front of her who was still stained with blood, clearly having just completed a mission.

"Don't get your blood on the sofa. It'll be hard for Felyn to wash it out."

Bernice clutched her chest, suddenly feeling a sharp pain.

This is what they mean by forgetting friends over a lover, right?!

"Miss Daiyi?! That's so mean!"

She went to the door and took off her sigil light armor and mask, leaving only a tube top and very short shorts. Her black and red highlighted short hair constantly brushed against her shoulders as she fiddled with it, the perfect curves of her body exposed in the room.

The faint muscle lines on Bernice's body were very attractive, a result of long-term combat and training.

"I've been running around for you two, and I'm always protecting your boyfriend, but in return, I get this kind of cold treatment."

She wiped the non-existent tears from the corners of her eyes with her wrist, sobbing intermittently.

"Alright, alright, then I'll promise you one condition as an apology." Daiyi patted Bernice's shoulder comfortingly.

Daiyi didn't know why she had just said those words, defending Felyn like that.

"Really? You'll promise anything?"

"Yes, within my capabilities."

Bernice wrapped her arm around Daiyi's, chuckling. "Then can you set me up with Felyn? I want to be with Senior Felyn too."

"Thwack!"

A crisp sound of a flick on the forehead echoed as Daiyi flicked Bernice's forehead.

"Do you need me to set you up if you want to be with Felyn? If you sneak into his room, could he possibly beat you?"

Just as the two were playing around, the doorbell rang.

"I'll be leaving first, to make room for the three of you."

Bernice shook her head, walked to the door, and picked up the light armor and mask she had just taken off.

Then she waved at Daiyi and jumped into a spatial rift that appeared in front of her.

Daiyi waited until Bernice's figure had completely disappeared before going to the door and placing her hand on the handle.

Felyn had to go to school today, and Daiyi had used the excuse that Hermi wanted to see her to invite Viloti over.

She knew the two seemed to be at odds recently, so she specifically chose a time when Felyn wasn't home. Viloti didn't need to attend school now and could take leave at any time.

"Miss Viloti, please come in."

Even Daiyi was stunned for a moment when she saw Viloti.

Pink hair paired with fair skin was truly adorable, making her skin look even more tender and pink.

Today, Viloti was wearing a loose green sweater that covered her down to her thighs.

White calf-high socks enveloped her slender calves, and paired with small black leather shoes, it made one want to take a second look.

Like a single pink flower appearing in a vast grassland, she was pitiable and made one want to run for her.

"Mhm."

Viloti took off her shoes and placed them next to Felyn's slippers.

Hermi tactfully walked over slowly, rubbing its head against Viloti's smooth thighs.

"Meow~"

After a brief chat, Daiyi and Viloti sat on the sofa, with Hermi lying between them, yawning.

"Miss Viloti, have you been fighting with Felyn recently?" Daiyi poured Viloti a cup of black tea.

"Eh? N-no." Viloti turned her head away in embarrassment, her hands rubbing her palms together. "Felyn... has he mentioned me to you recently?"

"No. He hasn't said anything about you to me recently. But I feel like something's not quite right between you two lately."

"I'm the one avoiding Felyn. It's not that he did anything to me or made me angry. It's my fault..."

Viloti held the teacup with both hands, blowing on the steam rising from it.

Her knees bumped together at a cute angle, rubbing up and down gently.

"Avoiding Felyn?"

"Mhm... it's my own reason." Viloti nodded, her hand continuously stroking Hermi.

"Then do you think you still like Felyn now?"

Daiyi watched Viloti's expression, wanting to judge her feelings from it.

Daiyi felt that no matter from which angle, Viloti was very suitable for Felyn. Her family background, appearance, figure, and intelligence were all outstanding.

"I do. I think... I still like Felyn. I've been... wanting to see him these past few days."

A faint pink appeared on Viloti's cheeks. After she spoke, she lightly bit her lower lip, her amber eyes shyly looking down.

"Then if you had to choose between that reason of yours and Felyn, what would you choose?"

Viloti maintained her previous posture, and after a moment of contemplation, she sighed, "I don't know."

Viloti didn't know how to face Felyn.

If the contract really existed, then all her past memories of Felyn were fake.

But Viloti also knew the Felyn after the contract had ended.

The memories were a mix of real and fake, and she could no longer tell them apart. She didn't know what to do.

So, she avoided Felyn, not daring to face him.

Daiyi glanced at her watch, then continued to listen to Viloti.

"But... we'll be graduating after the school festival. I don't know if I'll be able to see Felyn again. I also don't know what gift to give him."

Daiyi smiled faintly. "On graduation day, if you stand in front of Felyn wearing a maid outfit and white stockings, that would be the best graduation gift for him."

"Eh? B-but..."

Viloti closed her eyes, clearly imagining such a scene.

Just as Viloti was at a loss for words, the doorbell rang.

"Felyn's back."

Hearing Daiyi's words, Viloti looked up in a panic and glanced at the clock.

School shouldn't be over yet, why was Felyn back so early?

"Do you want to hide? When Felyn goes back to the bedroom to change, you can sneak out." Daiyi saw Viloti's panic and kindly reminded her.

"O-okay!"

Viloti didn't want to be caught at home by Felyn at this time. She hadn't figured out how to face him yet.

Daiyi pulled her and walked to the bathroom. "Hide in here for a while. I'll call you when it's time."

Felyn saw that the door hadn't opened for a long time and thought Daiyi wasn't home, so he took out his key to open it.

"She was the one who sent me a message saying she really wanted to eat fish and insisted I come back early to cook, but she's not even home."

Felyn couldn't understand Daiyi's thoughts. He had just asked his teacher for leave.

He opened the door and called out Daiyi's name into the house twice.

"Felyn, you're back?"

Daiyi's voice came slowly from upstairs. She was leaning on the railing, no different from usual.

"Sorry, I was just really craving it. I didn't eat lunch and I'm too hungry."

"Remember to add it to the bill," Felyn muttered, putting the groceries he bought into the kitchen. Then he prepared to go into the bathroom to take a shower.

This was his habit. He would always take a shower first when he got home.

Of course, Daiyi knew this too.
