One shot meant there was a minor inconvenience, two shots meant it was a serious matter and the guarding crew needed help. Three meant imminent danger. The whole crew had to return to the ship!

Usually, only when pirates were getting arrested by the dock patrol would someone shoot three times. Such a thing shouldn’t happen on this small island. Still, nobody could ignore the warning.

Even without an order from their captain, the pirates immediately stormed out of the tavern and headed straight for the Maiden’s Wrath.

Pristina also flashed outside. After a minute of hesitation, she went to the dock.
