424  423: Death of The Capra King

    As the Capra King stood at the edge of the crater, he stared coldly at Corey whose only sign of being alive was the rise and fall of his chest.

    The sound of thunder resounded above, and the Capra King glanced at the lone lightning in the Supreme Tribulation Eye before shifting his gaze back to Corey.

    Although the Capra King was not completely sure how Corey was able to swap positions with him with such ease instantly, he knew that he had to do something or he''d suffer grievous injuries.

    Despite blocking most of the lightning of the Supreme Tribulation Eye, he still suffered greatly from the third lightning tribulation.

    The third lightning tribulation was five times stronger than the first lightning tribulation, and if he had not blocked most of it, he would have been at death''s door.

    Knowing that he had to stop Corey''s position swapping ability, he decided to block Corey''s sight and then he manipulated the earth and delved deep into the ground after the third lightning tribulation destroyed most of his barrier.

    As he moved underground at a quick lightning speed, he appeared beneath Corey and decided to beat him to the point of near death.

    At some point, he almost lost his mind due to the immense rage he had toward Corey, and he almost gave in to his desire to kill Corey. Fortunately, his fear of the Supreme Tribulation Eye was stronger, and he stopped himself before he killed Corey.

    The Capra King could perceive just how powerful the fourth lightning tribulation was, and he knew that it would take him all that he had to protect himself.

    ''I noticed that his eyes changed. Could his eyes be the reason why he''s able to instantly swap positions with me?''

    ''Tsk... Unfortunately, I didn''t notice it on time, or I''d have yanked out his damn eyes.''

    Just as the Capra King had this thought, he noticed a slight movement from Corey, and to his disbelief, he saw Corey open his eyes and then he smirked at him.

    Just as the Capra King was about to get pissed off, his instincts screamed at him, and a feeling of Deja vu swept over him.

    His vision instantly changed, and before he could react, a bolt of white lightning struck him.

    "ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

    The Capra King screamed with a mixture of an unfathomable amount of rage, pain, and immense frustration as his body was engulfed by the white light that was emitted by the lightning.

    Meanwhile, in the Capra King''s previous position, Corey coughed out multiple mouthfuls of blood mixed with his internal organs as he knelt on the ground while holding his stomach with a pained expression.

    ''Shit. I thought I was going to die. Luckily, the Capra King did not use his full strength on me or I''d have died for real.''

    Corey placed his hands on the ground and clenched his fists tightly. He closed his eyes tightly for a second and then he opened them before looking in the direction of the Capra King.

    As he stared at the Capra King, he sucked in a breath of burnt air and his body trembled slightly.

    The Capra King could no longer be recognized, and all Corey could see was a smoking burnt humanoid standing on his two feet without moving.

    ''He''s still standing?''

    Corey thought, and then he shifted his gaze to the Supreme Tribulation Eye above. To his immense relief, he saw the Supreme Tribulation Eye fade out of existence, however, for some reason, Corey felt a tinge of anger and frustration from the Supreme Tribulation Eye above.

    ''Was the Supreme Tribulation Eye sentient?''

    ''There''s truly-!!!''

    Just as Corey had this thought, his skin tingled endlessly, and a feeling of deadly crisis engulfed his entire being.

    "Shit!"

    It all happened faster than Corey could blink.

    At first, he saw a change in the Capra King. His lips moved and a smirk appeared on his lips, and before Corey could respond, countless earth spikes appeared from the Capra King''s body and they moved at a speed Corey could not respond to.

    Countless earth spikes went through his body in less than a second, and with every earth spike that went through his body, his mana depleted at an extremely fast rate.

    Two seconds later, he was forced to come out of his Phase state, and the earth spikes penetrated Corey''s entire body with extreme lethality.

    Even after the earth spikes penetrated Corey''s entire body, the Capra King was not satisfied. The earth spikes stopped shooting out of his body, and extremely long earth spears shot out of his body.

    The earth spears penetrated his left eye, his neck, his heart, his arms, his thighs, multiple parts of his torso, and his mouth.

    Corey''s right eye shook in disbelief and fear. Blood poured out of his mouth like a waterfall, and when the Capra King saw this, he laughed.

    "How dare you, you mongrel of the Old Ones! How dare you put me in this state?! How dare-!!!"

    "Wait! That''s a fa-"

    "A fake."

    A cold and indifferent voice flowed into the Capra King''s ears, and before he could respond, he felt an object touch his neck for an instant, and then his vision spun.

    ''What? He cut off my head? I lost to a weakling like him?''

    ''How? How?! HOW?!''

    ''I curse you, Disciple of The Old Ones!''

    ''I curse all ye Old Ones!''

    This was the Capra King''s last thought, and the light in his eyes vanished.

    The Capra King died.

    So, yeah. Sorry for taking longer than promised. I encountered a lil bit of some setbacks in terms of relationship and there was also light issue.

    Anyway, I was only able to write ten chapters for privilege chapters for now. I plan on having fifty privilege chapters, and the prices would also change.
