CHAPTER 1034: 1031: BLOODY FUN

The actions of the two Tier 6s were completely unexpected, and not a single living creature in the world tree’s realm could have expected the Tier 6s to do what they did.

Especially Corey and Pamela who had experienced a different timeline.

The explosion that occurred after the two Tier 6s self-destructed was so immense and power to the point that it razed nearly every single thing in the realm to the ground.

The only things that survived were Corey, Pamela, Syrelle, and the world tree.

The trees, the tiny insects, the unfortunate animals that were in the realm, and even the grass all had their lives snuffed out of them.

Corey, Pamela, and Syrelle had unanimously unleashed barriers that protected all of them. However, it could not shake the shock that was in their hearts.

None of them, absolutely none of them had expected such a thing to occur.

Meanwhile, Corey had a slight suspicion as he went through what he saw before the explosion occurred.

’Their shadows... There was movement in their shadows. The Clown?’

Corey’s expression darkened, and Pamela’s expression was the same. They both came to the same conclusion.

’But even if it’s the Clown, how could he have made those Tier 6s to attack Anton, and to also shatter their mana cores and self-destruct? It just doesn’t make sense.’

’In the last cycle, the Tier 6s were clearly on Anton’s side, so what changed?’

Corey’s frown deepened as his countless thoughts and speculations flashed in his mind.

’It seems my worst fears have most likely come to pass... The Clown remembers the previous cycle. His memories are not wiped away whenever Jeremy dies.’

Corey looked down at his shadow, focusing intently on every shadow that was around him.

A part of him was expecting the Clown to suddenly jump out of his shadow or any shadow around him so as to kill him.

Fortunately or unfortunately, nothing like that happened.

’If I’m right, then that means the situation has just become more disadvantageous for us. I can’t fight the Clown with my current strength. I need time to fuse with the world tree.’

Corey clicked his tongue in frustration, and then he looked at the source of the explosion.

There was a crater with unfathomable depths, and Corey’s lips twitched when he saw a black sphere calmly floating above the crater.

The black sphere was like the size of a football, and its surface would sometimes ripple and twist.

Through his Eyes of Omniscience, Corey could see that inside the shadow sphere was the Book of Death.

What happened next was something he expected but wished did not happen.

The Clown’s hand shot out from the shadow sphere, and then like a dead man coming out of his grave, the Clown came out of the shadow sphere in the same manner.

It was extremely weird because the Clown was coming out of something as small as a soccer ball, and the way he came out with his bones cracking and twisting made it seem like he was truly coming out of a tight place...

’Almost like a magic trick.’

Corey scoffed inwardly when he realized, however his expression was one of extremely solemnity when he saw that in the left hand of the Clown was the Book of Death.

"Well, that definitely sucks." He said out loud with his lips twitching slightly in annoyance.

Pamela looked at him with a grave expression. "Please tell me I’m wrong with my conclusion."

"And what’s your conclusion?" Corey asked without taking his gaze off the Clown, his energies and body was primed to battle in a moment’s notice.

Pamela inhaled and exhaled deeply. "That he has knowledge of the previous timeline."

Corey’s fingers twitched. "You’re not wrong. I also came to that conclusion. I don’t know why he was able to retain his memories, but I’m guessing it’s because of our talents."

Pamela raised her brows in confusion. "Our talents?"

Corey nodded slightly. "I strongly believe that whenever Jeremy dies, it’s only New Earth and not the entire universe that’s reversed back in time, and I’m going to use to explain why I believe that it’s because of our talents our memories remain intact."

"Me, you, and the Clown have the same unknown grade for our talents, and that’s the only connection the three of us have. Nothing else."

"Since our talents came about because of New Earth, and New Earth is most likely the only planet that keeps on going back in time whenever Jeremy dies, then I believe that me, you, the Clown, Jeremy, and the last person with the last talent are the only ones that can remember the previous timelines."

Pamela’s mind churned with several questions, but she decides to reel them in and focus on the most important thing at the moment.

"I have a lot of questions, but I’ll keep them to myself for now." She looked at the Clown. "But what are we going to do now? Our advantage of knowing the future is gone? And he’s a lot stronger than both of us combined together? How are we going to defeat him?"

"I have absolutely no idea." Corey shook his head, and then he looked at Syrelle.

Her expression was one of utter confusion and shock as she looked at the crater where Anton was meant to be.

Knowing that her and Anton were allies, he could imagine the shock and confusion that was going through her heart.

A plan began to emerge in his eyes as he looked at her.

’Would it work?’

Corey wondered with intrigue, and then he looked back at the Pope who was looking at him after fully coming out from the shadow sphere.

He cleared his throat a few times, and then he spread out his arms.

"Surprise motherfucker. I’m back! Hahahahahahaha!"

The Clown laughed loudly, and then he looked at Corey with a glint in his eyes.

"I told you, Corey. I’ll be back and we’re going to have so much bloody fun."
