CHAPTER 958: 955: SOMEBODY SPECIAL

Although Corey and Pamela were surprised seeing a little silver elf girl that did not seem to be more than eight years old, they did not hurriedly approach her unlike what most would expect.

Corey looked at Pamela, and she immediately understood what he wanted her to do. Because he had overused his Tri-Pupil Eyes, using his Eyes of Omniscience to observe the little girl was not possible unless he wanted to hinder the recovery of his eyes.

So, he had to depend on Pamela whose eyes were clearly not normal, to try and see if there was any trap.

Meanwhile, Corey shifted his gaze from Pamela to the girl, and his attention was instantly drawn to the cyan color that was in her veins.

’Her aura... Hmm... Surprising.’

He furrowed his brows slightly, and without looking at Pamela, he spoke. "Safe?"

Pamela’s eyes which had a faint outline of infinity receded, and she nodded.

"Yes. But her life-"

"Is in danger." Corey completed Pamela’s words, and then he approached the girl.

He touched her, and then he turned her over, revealing a deep cut on her back that showed a glimpse of her silver bones and her silver blood which was slowly turning cyan.

Pamela approached him, and a deep frown was on her face.

"She’s poisoned."

Corey nodded. "Yes. Luckily for her, she found me."

Corey placed his hand on her back, and then he first used Poison Manipulation to remove the poison from her system.

Without his Eyes of Omniscience which would have enabled him to see the internal system of the little silver elf girl. He would have been able to take note of every single change that was occurring in her body as he used Poison Manipulation, but without that he had to carefully observe the girl’s body to see how she reacted.

’This poison is rather interesting. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before... It was specially created to target Silver Elves.’

’It specifically targets their silver bones and also their... metallic blood? No... Essence? Hmm...’

’It causes their silver bones to oxidize. To corrode, and from what I can see, the pain this girl is feeling is immense. If this poison was used on another person, the pain they’ll feel would be mild, but for the Silver Elves... It would be comparable to hell for them.’

Corey’s eyes flashed with intrigue for a few moments as he studied and analyzed the poison for a few moments, and after observing the way the poison behaved, he became confident in drawing out the poison from the girl’s body at once.

There were several other methods he could have used to rid the girl of the poison, but he wanted to obtain the poison for himself.

It was a poison that was created specifically against the Silver Elves, and he wanted to study this poison so that he would have something to use against them in the off chance that he became enemies with the metal loving race.

Slowly removing the poison without the help of his Eyes of Omniscience made the process a lot slower to him, but to Kiefer, Selene, and Willow, it was not slow at all.

Seven minutes passed after Corey began using Poison Manipulation on the girl, and the girl’s breathing and expression was a lot better.

It was not as faint as it used to be, and her brows were at ease.

Corey opened up his right hand, and an egg sized ball of cyan liquid hovered above his hand.

’That took a lot of time for just this little thing.’

Corey stored the liquid into his Tri-Pupil Eyes, and then he began using Dream Healing on the little elf girl.

Her wounds closed at a visible pace, and Corey raised his brows as he noticed something.

’Interesting.’

He thought, and then he placed a finger at the left side of his face.

Clang!

The sound of metals clashing resounded, and Corey’s hand moved as quickly as lightning as he he held the girl’s arm.

"Heh?"

The girl exclaimed as she realized to her disbelief that her sneak attack had failed, and that she could not move.

"Hmm."

Corey hummed softly as he looked at the girl’s hand which was no longer a hand but a dagger. A silver dagger.

After removing the poison from the little girl’s body, he noticed that the girl was no longer unconscious, and to his surprise, her body was even healing on its own.

Although Dream Healing hastened the healing, Corey knew that if he left the little girl, she would be fine.

But then he sensed killing intent from her, which was a little bit surprising to him, but not that surprising when he thought about it.

Another surprising thing which he noticed was the girl’s aura.

Because of the poison, her aura had not been stable and it was not easy for one to know her tier just from sensing her aura alone.

But after the poison was removed, Corey was able to fully sense the aura and his suspicions were confirmed from the moment he laid his eyes on her.

This little girl who did not seem to be more than eight years old was a Tier 4, and if he was correct, her physical capabilities was enough to fight a Tier 5.

’I created a dozen Hexagon Nova Shields in front of my finger, but she was able to shatter four of it as a Tier 4.’

’If I had only placed my finger without any protection, she might have nearly sliced it in two.’

Corey’s eyes flashed with interest as he looked at the little girl who was looking at him with wide eyes that were full of wariness, fear, confusion, and disbelief.

’With that type of strength, she has to be somebody special amongst the Silver Elves. Unless the Silver Elves are truly that powerful, but I don’t believe that.’

"Who are you?"

"Isn’t that what I should be asking you."
