Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon
Chapter 961 - 958: Fight
CHAPTER 961: 958: FIGHT
The moment Corey finished speaking, the weather suddenly began to change, and the winds became turbulent. The skies darkened, and a storm appeared out of nowhere.
Two Silver Elves suddenly appeared on top of the branch of a colossal tree, and because of how high the branch was, they all had to strain their necks to see the two Tier 6 Silver Elves.
Their metallic skin gleamed like polished steel as it caught the faint light that leaked through the dark clouds above. Lightning sparks snapped in the sky, and to a mortal, it would look like the end of the world.
Seven more figures appeared on the ground beneath the branch of the Tier 6 Silver Elves, and Corey and Pamela glanced at them before looking back at the Tier 6 Silver Elves.
The Tier 6 Silver Elves had long woven silver hair, and their bronze like eyes landed on Ecles before shifting to Pamela, Willow, Corey, Kiefer, and Selene. Their eyes flashed with disdain and indifference.
One spoke, and his tone was smooth but threaded with unveiled disdain.
"Return her to us," he said, his bronze gaze sweeping over the group once again until it was fixed on the trembling figure of Princess Ecles who looked at him with a frigid cold gaze. "The Princess belongs to us, her people, not to you wretched outsiders. Hand her over, and perhaps we shall let you live."
The air thickened with the scent of rain and ozone, as an extremely tense atmosphere filled the air.
Pamela stroked Ecles’ hair with a light smile. "You don’t have to be afraid. We’re not going to give them to you." She whispered, and then she stood.
She took a step forward, and then she tilted her head slightly. A mocking smile curled her lips. "So dramatic. You arrive like thunderclouds and expect us to cower? Pathetic."
The Elf’s jaw tightened. His metallic skin glimmered as his veins faintly pulsed with electric arcs. "Watch your tongue, girl."
Pamela’s laugh was sharp and brutal. "Oh? Why? Afraid words might dent your shiny skin? Or will your little storm fry you before it fries us?"
She crossed her arms, and looked at them with bored arrogance. "You strut like you own the skies, but from here, you look like tin soldiers. Loud, polished, and utterly hollow. This Queen wonders if your brain is also made of rusted tin cans?"
The Silver Elves’ eyes flashed with fury, and sparks of lighting danced wildly across their shoulders. Even Corey and Princes Ecles were stunned at Pamela’s ruthless and vicious words.
’Her tongue was definitely a creation of the devil’s.’ Corey thought.
But Pamela wasn’t finished. "You’re not storms. You’re scraps. And if you think for one second that you can order this Queen, this baddest bitch in the whole fucking universe, around?... Then I’ll make sure your corpses prove otherwise."
The Elves’ fury snapped like a whip. Lightning flared, and it illuminated the darkened world in stark flashes.
Then a mocking voice rang out. It was not Elven, but the familiar voice of a human.
Three men in worn armor stepped forward from behind the Elves. They were Tier 4s, and Corey knew that they were New Earthlings, not Outsiders.
’They are definitely not part of the Kingdom of Miracles. So which organization?’ Corey thought with slight curiosity.
Meanwhile, the men had wide crude grins, and their eyes crawled greedily over Pamela, Selene, and Willow.
"Why waste time arguing?" one said while licking his lips. "Let us have our fun with the women. Kill the men. The two of them are worthless anyway." He gestured with a thumb toward Corey and Kiefer. "Those three will keep us entertained and we won’t have the desire to touch any young pretty Silver Elves."
The man looked at Ecles, and Pamela’s gaze instantly sharpened and became so cold that it could freeze the a layer of hell. Selene’s face hardened into cold steel, and Willow’s whip coiled tighter in her hand.
Kiefer looked at Corey, but Corey... he simply exhaled.
Thrum
In the silence that followed, his illusory brown eyes flashed with a sharp and heavy light as the world thrummed.
He lifted a hand, and it was extremely casual as though he was brushing dust from his sleeve.
And then...
Snap!
The three men’s heads along with the head of the lash Tier 4 Silver Elf fell to the ground as Corey’s Phantom Plague Axe Heart Intent sliced their heads off their necks. They collapsed before their laughter had even died, and their blood spilled in thick streams onto the cracked ground.
Everybody went silent.
And even the storm paused for a moment.
Ecles’ silver pupils dilated in horror, shock, and disbelief. The Silver Elves froze, and their fury was momentarily smothered by the casual display of annihilation.
Corey lowered his hand with a completely indifferent expression. "Believe it or not. I saved them from a worse fate by her hands." He gestured at Pamela, and then his eyes shifted, not toward Pamela, not toward the corpses, but to his servants. "Kiefer. Selene. Willow.
They turned toward him with blazing eyes of determination and pride.
This was their master who they made up their minds and hearts to serve and follow. Although he was not the best, he was strong, and they wanted to be as strong as their master.
"Fight," Corey commanded softly. "Show me what you’re capable of."
"Yes, Master." They all answered.
Lightning flashed in the sky, and the winds howled. The Tier 5 Silver Elves roared as arcs of lightning burst from their bodies, shaking the ground with deafening cracks.
Kiefer, Selene, and Willow all separated, and their eyes blazed with determination.
Selene was the first to move. Her legs blurred, and lightning coiled around her calves until every step she took shattered the ground.
She dashed forward, and she closed the distance between her and an elf in a heartbeat, her heel colliding against the Silver Elf’s chest.
BOOM!
