CHAPTER 185: CHAPTER 185: APOSTLE OF LUST, LUXURIA (PART 1)

Okay, this isn’t half-bad. As disastrous as that raid turned out to be, it wasn’t a total loss. At least, for me.

That Archdemon netted me a pretty massive number of points, more than the rest of the Monsters in the Dungeon combined.

I’d gotten eight and nine points from Luxuria and that other Greater Demon, respectively, so I figured I’d get maybe four or five times more points from the Archdemon.

Nope, closer to fifteen times the amount, I gained a little over a hundred and twenty points from consuming his body.

And that’s just with my physical stats, I got over a hundred points added to my MP too. Well, considering that I very nearly died, I suppose it’s only fair.

It was the following evening, around 6 PM.

I was back home, and decided to distribute the points I got from the Archdemon, only to be completely taken aback at how much it was.

I did consider mentioning it after you consumed him, but it didn’t seem like the right time

It was a little over a hundred points initially, and it went over a hundred and twenty after you consumed his head

Seriously? His head alone was worth more than two Greater Demons combined?

Yes, pretty much

Wow. Not really sure what else I can say.

My current stats are looking pretty great, it almost makes what I went through seem worth it. Almost.

Here’s what my stats look like right now:

HP: 486

MP: 808

Strength: 491

Agility: 660

Vitality: 481

Perception: 643

Power Level: 594,800

This is a pretty substantial increase, but I’ve still got a lot way to go. The Archdemon’s Power Level was close to three million, I’m not even close to one million yet.

Hey, Ai, you said before that I’ll eventually reach the limit of how far I can keep increasing my Potential, right?

Any idea how powerful I can get before I reach that limit, at least a ballpark estimate?

Sorry, but I don’t know

As you get stronger, your body slowly but surely evolves, like how you heal and recover stamina faster

But there is a limit to that, eventually you will have maxed out your evolutionary potential and growth, all I know for sure is that that is still a long way off

It is rather difficult to calculate any more specific details, there is simply not enough information at the moment

However, I can say that it is highly likely that your current rate of growth will last for a while yet

I believe it will slow down when you have reached approximately half your upper limit

When that happens, or perhaps even when you’re relatively close to that point, I will be able to calculate the specific details on how powerful you can grow

I see, that’s too bad...well, I suppose it wouldn’t make much of a difference even if I knew.

It’s not like knowing my upper limit will help me progress faster. And either way, I plan on continuing to keep getting stronger.

And the little you have assessed is still pretty useful info. So, the next time the rate of my power growth slows down, I’ll have reached about half the power I’m capable of reaching, right?

I believe so, but I cannot confirm that with any real certainty

And that’s good enough for now, I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, so maybe this uncertainty is for the best.

Now, then...it’s time to address the other notable gain I acquired in that Dungeon.

"Emerge, Apostle of Lust: Luxuria."

I shifted my gaze down as she appeared before me, kneeling down on one knee with her head bowed.

"Yes, Master, how may I serve you? First, allow me to congratulate you on felling the Archdemon, it is truly a remarkable feat," She greeted me.

"Yeah, thanks. I’ll get straight to the point...we’re going to need to set some ground rules, just to be safe," I remarked, as I took a seat on the edge of my bed.

"Hm? This position...I see, understood. You wish for me to fellate you, is that right? May I have something to tie my hair up with?" She responded, as she scooted closer towards me.

"What? No! I was just getting comfortable, that’s all. Actually, kneeling like that doesn’t look particularly comfortable, you can sit up here if you want," I replied with a sigh.

"Oh, I see, I apologize for the misunderstanding, Master. And I shall take you up on your kind offer," She nodded, standing up before taking a seat on my lap.

"...I meant next to me, not on me."

"My apologies, Master, forgive me," She responded, as she got up and sat beside me.

Hey, Ai, is she messing with me? I really can’t tell.

I don’t believe so, her devotion to you runs far too deep for that

A significant reason why she met the conditions to become your Apostle of Lust is because she strongly embodies, well, lust

So, it is unlikely that she is messing with you...the more likely explanation is that she has a high sex drive and libido

"Hm? Right, let’s get back on track...I touched on this a bit in the Dungeon, but I’d like to be more comprehensive with it. I’ll be setting some ground rules that I expect you to follow, mostly pertaining to how you should act around other humans."

"Yes, I understand, I shall follow these rules down to the letter."

"Good, see that you do. For starters, no attacking or killing humans, not unless I say so," I stated firmly.

"What if you are battling a human and summon me, requiring me to attack instantly?" She pointed out.

"Hm, fair point...maybe we could have some kind of signal?" I suggested uncertainly.

"If I may...I can feel your emotions when they grow especially strong. During the battle against the Archdemon, your emotions were running high, so I was able to follow your intent and attack as you wanted me to."

Right, come to think of it, she was coordinating with me as I wanted, even when I didn’t have time to give out instructions.

"Alright, let’s test that out, see if I can do it at will," I mused, before staring at the wall as I directed an intent at her.

Raise your right arm. Raise your right arm. Raise your right arm! Raise-...!

"Is that what you wanted me to do?" She responded, as she lifted her right arm.

"Yeah, that’s exactly what I was going for. This is pretty convenient...," I smirked as I glanced at her.

"Oh, my...that look, do you wish to partake in my body now, Master?"

"Okay, you gotta stop assuming everything I say or do is sexual."
