Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons
Chapter 140: Single Line
CHAPTER 140: CHAPTER 140: SINGLE LINE
On the dark curtain, stars were scattered throughout.
The faint starlight illuminated the path Kane was traveling on.
Surrounded by tombstones and cemeteries, from time to time, skeletons clawed their way out of graves, attracted by the aura of passing living beings.
Kane swung his spear twice, killing two undead rushing towards him.
"Oh, something dropped material."
He flipped the dust-covered item emitting magical light with his spear tip and inspected it with his hand.
[Wealth Bone]
[Magic Materials]
[Color: Copper]
[Attributes: Slightly increase Magic Stone Energy]
[Rule: Wealth] (When extracting skills, using materials with rules as a catalyst can make acquired skills tend toward its rule.)
[Description: The golden glow of wealth was tightly wrapped around his neck at birth, and even without doing anything, riches would fall upon him from the heavens.]
???
This randomly dropped magical material had an attribute Kane had never seen before.
Skills inclined toward wealth, what does that mean?
Turning stone into gold?
He didn’t carry full magic stones, nor was it likely he wouldn’t use fully charged ones.
He wrapped the material up carefully and placed it in the valuable items area, planning to try it during the next skill extraction.
He walked in one direction for nearly an hour, uncertain if his path was correct.
Nothing in the dungeon could aid in navigation.
A strong magical reaction appeared not far away, Kane hunched and cloaked himself, stealthily approached to observe the source carefully.
It was a zombie clad in black armor; from the color and traces on the armor, it was discerned that its original hue wasn’t black, but stained by coagulated blood.
The zombie wielded a samurai sword, moving unlike typical zombies with their staggered, unsteady gait.
It seemed to have upgraded to a Black Knight.
The magical reaction and appearance were within Kane’s manageable range.
Exchanged Critical Strike and Eagle Eye.
He then cast spider silk, swiftly binding the Black Knight who hadn’t reacted yet, tying the other end to a nearby tree.
Kane grabbed Shielding the Sky and charged, taking advantage of the Black Knight’s entanglement to aim a strike at its head.
The Black Knight, unable to break free from the silk, released an explosion of pale energy, shattering the silk and deflecting Kane’s spear thrust, forcing him to dodge.
Having missed the target, Kane swiftly withdrew his spear and blocked the Black Knight’s incoming blade.
They locked into a power struggle, equally matched, and thus stalled.
Flames of pale color ignited in the Black Knight’s hands, advancing up to envelop both palms and sword.
Kane instantly felt a surge in strength within him.
Realizing the danger, he forcefully deflected the blade.
Then retreated several steps to gain distance.
The Black Knight wouldn’t let him go, raising its weapon and pressing the attack, slashing at him.
The pursuing Black Knight was tripped by something inexplicable, losing balance and lunging forward.
Kane struck downward with his spear, fiercely crushing into the Black Knight’s back, driving it into the ground.
The fallen Black Knight’s body extruded several mysterious holes, oozing dark, foul liquid.
A transparent steel wall suddenly emerged, pressing him down again, rendering him immobile.
With both hands, Kane jabbed his spear forcefully downward, piercing the Black Knight’s head.
Then twisted it with force.
Its struggling body gradually ceased motion, slowly crumbling into dust.
He waved to dispel the transparent construct, picking up the samurai sword dropped by the Black Knight from the dust.
The wholly black design, with a sharp blade seemingly coated in a matte material, was remarkably heavy and handsome.
[Black Samurai Blade]
[Long Blade]
[Color: Copper]
[Attributes:]
[Micro Armor Piercing]
[Quick Swing]
[Description: Used by living to reap life, by undead to reap living.]
The attributes were decent, and its aesthetic was high.
Very good.
Reflecting on his short stay in this dungeon, within less than a day, the magical items dropped were all pretty impressive.
However, the monsters encountered, compared to other dungeons, were significantly stronger, hordes of minor creatures and a fair distribution of elite monsters constantly appearing.
Stored the samurai sword in the space, shouldered his spear, and continued onward.
Perhaps an hour later, or possibly three, Kane had little sense of time in this place.
Casually slaughtered a corpse attempting to rise from its coffin at the roadside.
Before seeing ahead a dense swarm of Skeleton Soldiers, aimlessly roaming in the graveyard.
Without purpose.
With Eagle Eye, examined the Skeleton Soldiers closely to ensure no hidden strong magical reactions within.
He grasped a massive Wolf Fang Club and poured a bottle of Holy Light Potion over it.
Then, swinging the Wolf Fang Club, he charged into the skeleton horde.
As Kane dove into the skeleton crowd, from the outside all sight of Kane vanished.
Only the sight of skeletons flying off the ground and the sound of bones fracturing could be noticed.
Kane wielded the Wolf Fang Club within the skeleton horde with wild abandon, the surrounding skeletons falling piece by piece.
With bones flying and fragments scattered all around.
This sensation drove Kane to an overwhelming excitement, his swinging of the club becoming increasingly fierce, as the skeleton horde toppled in swathes like wheat.
"Ha ha ha ha"
Kane’s bizarre cries occasionally echoed.
Given Kane could control the weight of his constructs, the Wolf Fang Club swung in his hands like a pneumatic hammer.
Feeling it still wasn’t enough, Kane crafted another, holding one in each hand and spinning madly.
Like a tornado, Kane stormed into the skeleton horde. The whirlwind of strikes drew skeletons in, leaving only remains.
Once Kane settled, realized only dust remained surrounding him.
A lone skeleton wobbled toward Kane from a distance.
Glancing at the final Skeleton Soldier, Kane threw the Wolf Fang Club at it.
The powerful impact shattered the pitiful skeleton into fragments, its skull crushed under Kane’s foot.
Finally relieved, Kane couldn’t help but stretch his body, easing his waist.
Gazing at the dust behind him, he suddenly felt a bit dumbfounded.
