CHAPTER 168: CHAPTER 168: OBLITERATION BY HEAVY PUNCHES

Kane piloted the exoskeleton armor imbued with Holy Light.

The mechanical hand on his left grabbed the Skeleton Monarch’s body while his right formed a fist, and blue flames burst from his elbow, the iron fist mercilessly impacting the Skeleton Monarch’s head.

The Skeleton Monarch’s head was knocked back, but the crown on his head was firmly embedded in his skull, unmoving.

The iron fist withdrew, then struck down again.

As the iron fist fell faster and faster, it madly smashed into the Skeleton Monarch’s skull, revealing cracks in the bone.

The Skeleton Monarch finally couldn’t bear it anymore as dark green energy began to emanate from his body, enveloping him wholly.

Then the energy exploded, completely destroying the mechanical arm Kane had fashioned from the exoskeleton.

At last, the Skeleton Monarch freed himself from Kane’s grasp.

"You damned insect, how dare you treat the king like this."

He extended his arm to adjust his slightly crooked skull, forcefully realigning it.

The severed left arm of Kane, blown apart, extended and reconstructed itself anew.

As the Holy Light iron fist was about to fall again, the Skeleton Monarch vanished into thin air.

This time, he bizarrely appeared next to Liliulu, but as soon as he materialized, she vanished from her position.

A sphere of light appeared not far from the Skeleton Monarch; Liliulu revealed herself and made a playful face at him, "Bleh bleh bleh! Ugly monster!"

Then the Skeleton Monarch reappeared beside Kreya, hammering towards her, but Kreya’s hand produced a conical shield, sliding the attack off the facets, and she turned to slash her light blade forcefully at the arm wielding the hammer.

However, the dark green energy accompanying the Skeleton Monarch’s attack seemed ineffective against the undead form of Kreya.

The light blade cut through the Skeleton Monarch’s arm armor, penetrating his bone, with wisps of black smoke emerging from the cracks.

The Skeleton Monarch pulled back his iron hammer and vanished into the air once more.

This time, he lingered without revealing himself or launching an attack.

His sole target now seemed to be Longbei, for some reason, both Liliulu and Kreya could instantly detect his attacks.

Should he attack Kane, the transparent creation would greatly discomfort him, as Meizike was now standing on Cotton Candy, hovering in mid-air.

Having seemingly decided upon his target, the Skeleton Monarch reappeared, this time behind Longbei, swiftly swinging his iron hammer.

Longbei successfully defended against the attack, with a faint white Holy Light preventing the invasion of energy upon him.

Having experienced the Skeleton Monarch’s strength before, he didn’t rely solely on his own power to resist but used technique to mitigate the force impact.

Blocked the attack and instantly a Holy Light iron hammer hit the Skeleton Monarch on his leg armor.

The Holy Light power erupted through the armor on his leg, causing the Skeleton Monarch’s form to immediately stoop, half-kneeling on the ground.

Liliulu’s rainbow beam instantly shot over, and the Skeleton Monarch, having repelled Longbei with the iron hammer, extended his right hand, unleashing dark green energy to neutralize the rainbow beam.

Pale white spider silk had already entwined around him; he tried to turn and rip off the silk, as a pale figure swung a light blade at him.

Longbei charged forward with his shield, forcing the Skeleton Monarch to again wield his meteor hammer in defense.

The Skeleton Monarch, restrained by Kreya and Longbei, was wrapped in more and more spider silk, leaving him unable to vanish from sight again.

Dark green energy once more surged from his body, enveloping him fully and exploding outward.

Both Longbei and Kreya were struck back by the blast of energy, even the spider silk entangling him was destroyed.

This time, however, he didn’t disappear from sight; even if he were foolish, he’d now understand he’d been marked in some way, making it possible for Kane and the others to detect him wherever he appeared.

It turns out that when Kane first caught him, Liliulu had already placed a mark on him, and thereafter, Liliulu used the ruby on her chest to convey messages to Kane and the others.

If the Skeleton Monarch tried to vanish again to secretly launch attacks, he’d end up switching from active to passive.

The dark green energy entwined his weapons and body, it seems now he’s planning to fight directly.

Rainbow beams pierced through the dark green energy mass, striking a void within it.

Afterward, the energy mass resumed the form of the Skeleton Monarch; yet he seemed unscathed in his structure.

Kane drove his exoskeleton toward the Skeleton Monarch, lifting his meteor hammer with both hands to attack Kane.

The meteor hammer struck Kane’s steely left arm, smashing the gold-glowing arm to pieces.

Yet the attack was ultimately blocked, then Kane, with his right hand clenched in a fist, unleashed blue flames, pounding the Skeleton Monarch’s body fiercely.

Kreya arrived at the Skeleton Monarch’s rear, thrusting her light blade into his shoulder and forcefully dragging it sideways.

The Skeleton Monarch let out a scream; his left arm now hung limp.

The shattered left arm now recoiled, a punch met the Skeleton Monarch’s head, and then both fists relentlessly battered the Skeleton Monarch’s form.

Every third attack exploded in a burst of Holy Light within the Skeleton Monarch, repeating continuously.

The internal explosions prevented the Skeleton Monarch from transforming into an energy mass or disappearing from sight.

The rapid alternating attacks were indistinguishable, only continuous light beams seen striking at the Skeleton Monarch.

Bang bang bang!

Finally, Kane ceased his attacks.

Before him lay the Skeleton Monarch, without a complete bone on his body, the iron plates from the armor, and bones spread across the ground; only the crown embedded in the skull remained glamorous, seemingly unscathed.

Then, along with the shattered bones, turned to ashes.

The golden mechanical structure disappeared, leaving Kane exhausted, sitting on the ground.

Kane supported himself with both hands, panting heavily, though the maneuver was exhilarating, its consumption was extreme in both physical strength and magic power.

He retrieved a bottle of Physical Potion and Magic Potion, gulping them down.
