CHAPTER 172: CHAPTER 172: SUBSEQUENT PLANNING

As everyone gained better control over their bodies.

They began to stop their actions and gathered together.

Then, everyone started to talk about their skill upgrades and how their skills have changed compared to before. These exchanges are necessary for better teamwork in future battles.

After everyone understood their teammates’ new skills.

Kane suddenly said to Meizike, "Have you already mastered the skill stone I gave you?"

Because when Kane checked Meizike’s skill grid earlier, he noticed that it was vacant and the skill stone was gone.

There is only one explanation for this occurrence: Meizike has already learned the skill from the skill stone.

Before Kane and his teammates installed the skill stones, they were the same, but after installation, they couldn’t be removed easily. To make the skill grid vacant, there are only two ways.

First, the teammate successfully mastered the skill from the skill stone, causing the stone to disappear.

If Kane mastered the skill, the skill stone wouldn’t disappear and would remain intact.

Second, Kane uses a magic stone of the same level as the skill stone to remove it.

The skill he handed to Meizike earlier was relatively easy to learn and master compared to the skill stones he gave to Kreya and others.

Upon hearing Kane’s question, Meizike nodded.

"You should know I have a pupil-type scouting skill. I have already learned this skill and now want to give it to you. I think it suits your newly upgraded origin skills perfectly."

Meizike understood Kane’s Eagle Eye skill.

Thinking about his ability to replicate two eyes after upgrading his origin skills, he instantly realized that this skill could significantly enhance his abilities if given to him.

After pondering for a moment, Meizike nodded.

Seeing Meizike nod, Kane took the ritual tools from his space equipment and immediately began the ritual.

After some embarrassing actions, the Eagle Eye skill stone successfully embedded itself into Meizike’s skill grid.

Longbei watched this, saying, "Looks like I have to work harder, too. I can’t let them get too far ahead."

Kreya agreed with Longbei, nodding.

It’s not that their talents are inferior to Meizike’s. Instead, their skill stones are more challenging to master compared to Meizike’s.

However, both of them have their pride and wouldn’t use their stronger skills as an excuse for not mastering them.

Beside them, Meizike continuously familiarized himself with this strange vision using Eagle Eye, followed by his Eye of Magic Power, projecting three different images in his mind, all augmented by Eagle Eye.

This sensation made him a bit nauseous, but he forced himself to get used to it.

Just then, Kane approached and said, "No rush, practice after we go outside."

From the expressions and demeanor of the team, they seemed to be very satisfied with their sublimations.

Everyone had finally stepped into the silver rank, becoming legitimate Silver Explorers.

After making sure everyone was ready, Kane said, "Are you all set? If so, let’s head out."

After receiving affirmative replies from his teammates.

Everyone disappeared from their original spot.

Their vision returned, and they found themselves on the dungeon’s teleportation platform.

Kane and his team quickly left the platform.

Because they sensed more explorers around, and the area of the dungeon’s teleportation platform had been expanded to accommodate more explorers coming and going.

Outside, long queues were still forming.

After leaving the station, Kane looked up at the sky.

The sun was just rising, marking the beginning of a new day.

The sublimation in the mist had washed away their physical fatigue, though their spirits still felt a bit weary.

They quickly navigated through the crowded streets and returned to their inn rooms.

For now, they decided to get some sleep and rejuvenate before planning their next steps.

The sun outside traced a partner in the sky and finally set on the horizon.

By then, Kane had regained his energy. After freshening up, he took Cotton Candy to the tavern on the inn’s first floor.

Upon reaching the tavern, he immediately spotted Kreya and the others. A quick glance revealed he was the last to wake up.

Taking a seat at the group’s table, Kreya handed Kane his utensils as the setting sun cast through the windows, illuminating their table.

The table was already covered with plenty of food.

As the sun completely set outside, Kane and the others had finished eating, except for Kreya, who was now relaxing and chatting in their chairs.

"Now that everyone is in the silver rank, I plan to let the team rest for a week. After a week, we’ll regroup in Lion City. What do you all think?"

After hearing Kane’s proposal, the group began to ponder.

"A week’s rest sounds good. I plan to return to Crystal Town, visit my brother, and maybe brag a little about my journey. How about you, Meizike? Want to come along?"

Longbei tapped Meizike on the shoulder.

After considering Longbei’s question, Meizike nodded in agreement.

Kreya had finished her food as well and, after elegantly wiping her mouth with a napkin, said, "It’s a good suggestion. A week is just right; I need to return home to tell my family that I’ve upgraded to silver."

After seeing everyone’s agreement, Kane turned his gaze to Lilulu, who was fluttering around.

Sensing Kane’s attention, Lilulu flew over with her head bowed.

With her hands clasped behind her back, head down at her shoes: "Lilulu sneaked out on her own. If she goes back now, Lorice would surely give her a hard time."

Kane patted Lilulu’s head reassuringly, saying, "Then shouldn’t you report back that you’re safe? Plus, now that you’re a Silver Explorer, it’s the perfect chance to prove to them you’re capable of living independently. I’m sure your family will understand and feel proud of you."

Lilulu raised her head to look at Kane, "Really?"

"Of course, when have I ever lied to you?"

"Alright then."

Just as the team continued comforting Lilulu.

A flash of green darted over.

"Lilulu!"

Upon hearing the voice, Lilulu’s expression brightened, and all her earlier worries seemed to vanish as she flapped her wings cheerfully towards it.

It was none other than Lilulu’s friend, the little elf Philis.
