CHAPTER 457: CHAPTER 425: DARK ANCIENT CASTLE

The stone house situated in the fortress camp.

The windows around the stone house that allow light are mostly narrow, making the room’s lighting not very good.

Even at noon, when the light is strongest, the room would still seem a bit dim, let alone now in the morning.

"Good morning, everyone."

Kane yawned, lazily coming out of his room.

Meanwhile, at the dining table, Kreya and the others were already gathered, having started breakfast.

When there’s generally nothing to do, Kane would sleep in; Kria and the others were used to it.

Perhaps sleeping in is the only thing he can maintain from past memories.

Kreya looked at Kane, who was eating breakfast next to her, and asked, "Now that we have the fortress and the surrounding camp guard, after resting assured, what are the plans? Any ideas?"

Kane chewed his breakfast, listened to Kreya’s words, leaned back in his chair, and raised his head slightly, "Now we can move freely, and today Horn should have his soldiers start attacking the surrounding camps. I’m thinking maybe we should split up and act separately to maximize resources."

"Splitting up, I think it’s doable," said Longbei next to him.

"Anyway, with our strength, situations in the Dungeon that pose a life threat should hardly exist, and we can communicate anytime."

Indeed, as Longbei said.

Ever since graduating from Aiklonen, they almost had no rivals among their grade, positioned in a state of absolute strength dominance, still so when dealing with these Dungeons.

Not to mention this Dungeon emphasized legion warfare, thus most soldiers, even if they reach silver strength, basically wouldn’t be their equal.

As long as they don’t foolishly charge into the enemy’s army alone, life danger would almost be nonexistent.

Although the Dungeon hosts enemy leaders, powerful beings similar to Dungeon elites or mini bosses.

But from their strength perspective, it’s still not quite enough.

"But we’ll discuss the specifics of splitting forces later. Let’s first check out the wild camps and discuss it further; we’ll promote ranks and recruit more soldiers,"

Kane briefly mentioned what they needed to do today.

They finished breakfast and stepped out of the stone house.

In the wide field outside, quite a few soldiers had commenced their rotational drills.

The deputies they assigned for their teams were executing their duties.

Honestly, the Dungeon’s military, if placed in the normal world, would be considered elite troops.

Once small captains or deputies were appointed, apart from securing logistics and overall command, Kane and the others needn’t worry about other issues.

Meanwhile...

Bonona wandered around the camps, conspicuous as she held hands with two little girls whose hair matched hers.

Kane looked at this sight, thinking if not letting her entrust the daughters to them assuredly, going on the battlefield would indeed be inconvenient.

"Lulu."

Kane called Lulu on his shoulder, giving her a sign.

She nodded understandingly, fluttered her wings, flew towards Polona, watching them closely behind.

Meanwhile, Kane called down the Cotton Candy, playing and floating in the sky.

"Hello there!"

Lulu fluttered her wings, appearing before the two little girls.

Facing the suddenly appearing Little Fairy, the two little girls didn’t look too scared.

They might just feel a bit shy.

"He-hello," one of the little girls bravely said.

The other hid behind Bonona, poking her head out and watching with round eyes.

Bonona smiled maternally at this scene.

Seeing Lulu, she knew Kane and the gang must be here.

"How do you find these soldiers?" Kane asked.

"Not bad, although most are still a bit weak."

"Oh, I haven’t assigned you duties yet," Kane patted his head, realizing.

They returned quite late last night, so it wasn’t good to wake the soldiers.

Kane then waved to Abby not far away.

"Abby, this is Bonona, my newly recruited leader, she’ll be leading you now. You’ll assist her, no problem, right?"

Reacting to Kane’s command, Abby stood at attention, left hand in a fist striking her chest armor, "Yes, Officer Cain."

She nodded to Bonona, "Captain Bonona, please guide us."

"Captain Abby, likewise," Bonona nodded in return.

"Polona, go familiarize yourself with the team; don’t worry, Milo and Mina will be alright with Lulu," Kane said.

Bonona turned back after hearing Kane’s words.

Her two daughters were already playing with Lulu, along with an unknown cloud that had emerged.

The daughters were happily rolling on it.

Seeing this, Bonona felt slightly reassured and nodded.

Watching Bonona leave, Kane thought for a moment and said to his teammates, "I’ll use this item to locate the wild camps first; alone, I’ll be a bit quicker."
