A useful reminder that some people don't read the author's notes- I'm taking a week's break to read, recharge, and get my head straight for what I want to do with Vol. 3. Which I'm already 23 chapters deep on, so I should probably sort that out sooner rather than later. Sky Pride is not on Hiatus. Am I doing my usual summer thing of retreating deep into the Green Mountains, camped out on a ridge with a secure source of clean water and clear sightlines of the roads, as my ancestors did before me?

But let's not dwell on the comfortable doomsday bun... the nice house I'm staying at! This is a very reassuring post reassuring you all that all is well, and your regularly scheduled story will continue on Monday at it's usual time and schedule. There was a great joke there, but only the people with the secret decoder rings got it. But then, you had to crack the codes in previous chapters to get the address for the ARG that would eventually lead you to an abandoned Culvers outside of Blue Earth MN, hopefully with a shovel and a balaclava. Unfortunately, VERY UNFORTUNATELY, some enterprising spark has repurposed the whole place as a heratige logging theme park, where visitors can use handsaws and axes to fell simulated old growth timber then haul it by oxen to an all-too-real sawmill.

New decoder rings are being buried as we speak. Possibly. The new clues on the ARG site are damned criptic, and the pictures I'm getting back from the team would have Rainbolt guessing for seconds. Probably not double digit seconds, but five, six seconds easily. They are that cryptic.

So I'm back on the 23'rd. Unless the Feds crack the code, in which case, I was never here.
