Sophia and Maria were talking care of the children.

Akane and Lulu-chan apparently had business in our shop in the Royal Capital, so they teleported there using the gate.

Meanwhile, I was supposed to go next door because Madam Lumia called for me, but she was already in my house since morning.

Madam Lumia was sitting on the sofa, holding Etoile in her arms.

After returning Etoile to Maribelle, Madam Lumia elegantly sipped her tea. Just by the seeing her mannerism, it made me admire her as a queen. Mimir-sama moved just as gracefully which made me think how amazing royalty could be.

「Takumi-kun, I have decided to live here.」

As Madam Lumia’s proclamation of her immigration to the Sanctuary had left me in a daze, Mimir-sama had come guided in by Maribelle.

「Pardon the intrusion, Takumi-sama. Mother had started making unreasonable demands, yet I was unable to stop her……」

「In that case, if I were to return to the country, will you return with me?」

I tried to calm down Madam Lumia and Mimir-sama who started quarreling in my living room.

「So are you really going to live next door?」

「Yes, if I am next to Takumi-kun’s mansion, I can have tea with Madam Elizabeth whenever I wish to, and above all, I can meet Etoile-chan at any time.」

I’m glad she had taken a liking to Etoile, but that’s not a reason to come live in the Sanctuary for, is it?

Because Madam Lumia spoke in her usual tone, I nearly believed her.

「Yes. Because I have retired as the Queen, it means I can enjoy my life here. That’s why, I thought I could help you with your work. The maids I had brought with me are all capable as well.」

「No, having the Queen of Yggurle Kingdom here would not be a good idea, wouldn’t it?」

「That’s why I’m saying that I retired as the Queen. I am here simply as Lumia.」

Madam Lumia spoke absurdities so nonchalantly that both Mimir-sama and I were wracking our brains over what we should do.

This Queen was normally a calm and gentle woman, but when she’s like this, it’s a bit…… no, way out there.

「Iruma-sama, I will make contact with my father immediately, as such, may I ask you to please hold off on this matter?」

「Yes, of course.」

「Oh my, it will yield the same result even if you contact that man.」

「Mother, please stay silent for a moment!」

「My my, Takumi-kun~ Mimir is being mean to me~」

I should just disappear.

I can’t stand this.

To me, had it not been for their backgrounds, I would have loved to have both Madam Rosary and Madam Lumia’s help with the work.

Both are quick-witted, and could hold their own against nobles and merchants.
