Chapter 56 - 51 Escape
CHAPTER 56: CHAPTER 51 ESCAPE
Li Fei didn’t feel any pressure facing Liang Feng. Although Liang Feng’s sword technique was extremely fierce, in Li Fei’s eyes, she was just like a little girl wielding two knives against an adult. Li Fei believed that, if he chose to fight, it wouldn’t take more than ten moves to snatch Liang Feng’s knives.
Having evaded two moves already, only one move was left. Li Fei was confident. Given Liang Feng’s strength, even ten more moves wouldn’t be likely to touch his hem, much less force him back.
Liang Feng’s sword technique was good, but it was lacking in speed and power. If she faced someone slightly weaker, her sword technique might hold up fine. But against someone much stronger and faster, her technique became somewhat laughable.
Li Fei was slightly surprised at Liang Feng’s third strike. This move posed a bit of threat to him. Originally, Li Fei was just evading without intent to counterattack. But now, this unexpected move meant he couldn’t simply dodge.
As Li Fei aimed to grasp the spine of Liang Feng’s sword, he suddenly felt a dangerous force approaching. This was pure instinct, a sixth sense. At Li Fei’s level, the perception of imminent danger was much sharper.
Li Fei felt a very subtle force shooting towards his Jianchi Acupoint. Although it’s not a fatal spot, being hit would render the entire arm immobile, and worse, half your body might become paralyzed. Given the power of Liang Feng’s strike, getting hit could cost a life.
Li Fei didn’t hesitate and moved two steps to the left. Meanwhile, Liang Feng’s sword slashed the spot Li Fei had just been standing. A young thug behind Li Fei suddenly tensed, letting out a soft groan as blood spurted from his right arm. Although he wasn’t in much pain, merely about as painful as a mosquito bite multiplied, he didn’t pay it much mind.
The Silver Needle didn’t damage his bones; it merely pierced the shoulder muscle and shot into the wall behind, without even staying in his shoulder.
Liang Feng was unaware of all this. Seeing Li Fei moved, she believed she’d won and quickly retreated two steps, looking at Li Fei and saying, "Don’t know if your word holds, but you lost!"
Li Fei’s face turned cold immediately. Although the force was subtle, the peril it posed was undeniable. If struck, his head might not remain on his shoulders. Hearing Liang Feng, he responded coldly, "I lost, but not to you. Unexpectedly, you’ve got quite a few experts. Forgive my oversight, could the expert come forward?"
"What expert? Lost and don’t want to admit?" Liang Feng was anxious. If the opponent refused to acknowledge, they would have to fight, but her side was evidently weaker, increasing her anxiety.
Li Fei glanced at her expression, clearly indicating she wasn’t aware. Remembering the entourage Chopin brought earlier, a wave of killer intent swept through. Would that expert return?
"I admit losing. Poison Dragon, let them go!" Li Fei’s identity seemed esteemed, instructing Poison Dragon like a subordinate with authoritative tone, then addressed the compartment sternly, "Friend, come out, skulking isn’t heroic!"
Despite discontent, Poison Dragon dared not display it, given Li Fei’s formidable background beyond the gang’s capacity. Slowly, he instructed his men, "Release them!"
The two thugs holding Xun Xiangxiang heard Poison Dragon speak and promptly let her go. Xun Xiangxiang, fuming, kicked the thug on her right and shouted, "Bullying with numbers, next time I’ll beat you unrecognizable!" Then hurried over to the KTV screen, pushed aside the thugs blocking it, retrieved a little turtle behind, and consoled, "Don’t worry, little turtle, these bad guys can’t defeat Sister Fei Feng!"
"Come quickly, Xiangxiang!" Liang Feng saw Xun Xiangxiang focused on her little turtle, amused and exasperated, then pushed her behind, with Si Feng guarding, before saying to Li Fei, "You’re indeed a man of your word. Let’s call it settled if there’s nothing else?"
"One thing is settled, but your friend must stay!" Li Fei was decisive, uninterested in lingering with Liang Feng, but wanting to meet the expert behind the force.
Xiao Lin was about to stealthily leave with Xiang Fei when chaotic footsteps, mixed with staff inquiries, approached the entrance, hinting not fewer than fifty people.
"Police are here!" Xiao Lin couldn’t believe it, caught off guard by their arrival, making departure impossible, And so, mingled with the thugs, waiting.
Li Fei, Poison Dragon, and Liang Feng heard the mess outside. Both Li Fei and Liang Feng’s expressions changed as they looked at Poison Dragon, who innocently said, "I didn’t call them. But never mind, Li Brother, stay calm!" Not mentioning Liang Feng.
Suddenly, a stern voice echoed from outside, "Criminals inside, you’re surrounded. Drop weapons and come out with hands up!" followed by the clink of weapons ready.
Upon hearing this, even Poison Dragon’s expression shifted. It was evident these weren’t merely local patrol cops but Yanjing City SWAT.
Outside, a crowd of heavily armed SWAT stood guard. Quickly, Poison Dragon peered out the window, relieved to see no encirclement. Despite being on the fourth, the lower floors had plenty of barriers. With their skills, exiting through the window posed no challenge. He immediately told Cheng Fei, "We’re leaving; stay and control the situation!"
"Alright, Boss!" Cheng Fei agreed promptly without hesitation.
Without delay, Poison Dragon gripped the window bars, easily deforming them, then turned to Li Fei, "Apologies, Li Brother, hosting poorly today!"
Li Fei said nothing, glanced toward the compartment. Though eager to find the expert, the circumstances compelled him to turn and escape through the window.
