CHAPTER 43: CH 43

"What do you think katherine is doing right now ?" Jassica asked blacky as they continue moving forward on the second floor of the dungeon.

"Don’t worry mistress, my little sister will take care of the pest who dare getting close to young miss." Said the black cat trying to reassure Jessica.

Jessica signed when she heard what blacky said, "I hope so... Otherwise I just need to scare him a bit." She said as the aura around her become dangerous.

She wouldn’t have done anything if thier family was a normal family but what she is doing is necessary to do, she can’t let her sister find some useless man in this wasteland and get tied to him, she is destined to achieve a much more great things.

’I think it is also time for her to start cultivating, I have already delayed it by a year, while the requirement of our family technique is only 18, she has already passed 19.

Alright then, once we are out, I will have a serious talk with her and start training her from next month.’ she thought as she watch another group of fire wolves making thier way towards them.

She signed, It seems that today too they are going too have wolf meat for dinner.

What is the time actually? She don’t know, ’This is why I don’t like dungeons.’ she thought as she take out her sword and golden colour lightning enveloped her legs. Only blurred images of her moving could be seen after that.

( Alex’s POV )

I cut through the chest of a wolf and take out its heart, I continue doing this and soon a very little amount of wolf meat was in my hands, it was cutted in a very irregular shape as if claiming to be the work of an amateur.

’Why am I doing this ?’ I thought and signed.

After killing group of wolves, I encounted another group of them and then another, but all this to no avail as I don’t get anything from them too.

But then I saw a group people fighting the wolves and after defeating them, they also don’t cut any drop just like me but then I saw them how they start dissecting the wolves and take necessary their body part, while the remaining parts soon becomes light particles.

It was only then that I understood that we need to decide and take the body parts let the useless parts go, realisation hit to me but there was one more problem.

It wasn’t as if I have a problem with this kind of work on anything it’s just that... I don’t know how to dissect animals or wolves to be precise.

In the end after a lot of trial and error I was, somehow able to completely dissect a wolves. Through the remaining’s doesn’t look anything usable.

Even after knowing that I am not good at it, I still continue to dissect one wolf after another. It is because the food I brought with myself was about to finish and if I don’t do anything I have to sleep with an empty stomach.

After killing four wolves, I was able to get meat which is enough for a single meal, I signed after I dissect another wolf.

I came here to take some treasures and stop Tom from obtaining a power up and here I am cutting animals to get food for me.

No! I can’t let this happen, I thought and decided to speed up my progress. It has been almost an hour since I entered the dungeon and haven’t been able to complete its first floor.

After having my meal I take my backpack and started running, I ignore all the wolves that came and attack me leaving all of them behind.

They followed me for sometime and they were fast, but thier speed was nothing compared to my mine and it was easy for to leave all of them behind.

I also try my best not to meet any human inside and ignore them or hides before they can see me and run away when I get the chance.

But I stop few minutes because of what does I saw ahead of me. From the moment I enter the dungeon, I only saw one type of wolves, they had brown fur and black eyes.

But now there was a new type of in front of me, it has one black eye and other is of brown colour, this is not the feature the stand out the most, the thing that stand out the most from this wolf is that it have rocks body.

Yes, rocks growing on its on body, some part of his body was covered with rocks while the rest was covered with same brown furs.

It let out a growl when it saw me and started running toward me, it was fast, much more faster than those normal wolves I have encountered till now.

If I had to guess, then his agility stat must be around 20 points or something but it still wasn’t a ploblem for me since my agility stat is above 40 points already.

It came running towards me and jumped at me which I douge by jumping to my right, he landed on the ground and again jump towards me.

I duck under him and attacked with the dragger and is at it’s stomach. As if the wolf understand what I am going to do or by do it with instincts, it move slightly towards its right and my dragger hits it on the stone.

*Crack Drr Crack*

Sparks of light flew everywhere when my hit the rock. I was surprised by the toughness of the rock but came out of the surprise soon since I have not time to waste for it.

While he was still in the air and I was under it, I use my other hand and aim my first finger at its not lower jaw with my thumb facing upward and all other of my fingers were closed.

I send mana toward my finger and and soon pure translucent energy started gathering near it takes shape of the bullet.

It then move at double the speed of the normal bullet and directly entered the wolf mouth through it lower jaw and to my surprise, only that one bullet was enough to kill it then and there, I don’t know why though.

I was shocked when I got the notification from system telling me that I have and system points from killing and immediately ask system about this information.

[As long as host kill someone who is at least level 2 he will be awarded with system points!!]

I suddenly remember something and checked the notification I received when I killed that kim boy and need I asked in 15 system points through him too. I don’t contains this was a good thing.

After that I started dissecting the wolf and I soon got set of my first why too. The rocks were as hard as steel while the skin was soft just like the normal wolves I have encountered till now.

Not only these are soft, but they also don’t taste that bad either. It’s just that I am missing proper seasoning here, that’s why I can’t cook this meat to its full potential.

They also have another benefit, when I eat the normal wolves meat first time, I felt as if my body was rejuvenating and becomes a bit stronger. But I don’t feel that feeling when I eat another bite, as if it was a one time thing.

I checked my status and indeed there was improvement of one or two points here and there, I also drink the a F- rank body tempering potion I win in the gatcha before entering the dungeon, increasing my strength even more.

Through I felt energy washing over me even second time but it was so minimum that it doesn’t have any effect on me. As if my body has created resistance against it only after eating it one time.

I was happy to get another species of this wolf and was expecting this to show see me effect on me.

As for the rocks on its back, I wanted to take as much as that rock possible for me since they are very durable according to my appraisal skill but I can’t do it because of my lower manpower and how heavy they are.

A/N:- F to S is how system rank items while tier is cultivation ranking weapons or pills, etc.

It doesn’t look good to me for cultivators using F to SSS to rank weapons and all. I might not do it in mage world if we travel there.
