CHAPTER 48: CH 48

(Alex’s POV)

We entered the boss room with this new party ready for any type of challenge I can get from the boss.

The boss room was made of rocks all around with a big large rock thrice my height and as for visibility inside room, it may be average but none of the present people senses are average here.

"So, where the boss." Tom asked as he causally strolled around looking at different corners of the room, this bastard is really an idiot or is always just too overconfident, I don’t even know if he has something to back that overconfidence.

No he has something atleast, I thought as I look at the sword in his hand. Just where did he find that thing.

But I don’t get much time to think as the huge rock in the centre of the room started vibrating and then, dust flew as rock launched around the room with speed as fast as that of a bullet as the rocks burst open.

I immediately jumped from my place and hide behind another rock, through these rocks may be fast but there was enough time for me hide as the room was huge and the rock was at a great distance that it takes about a second for those rock bullet to reach me.

Others also follow as ember and aria also hide behind the rocks, except Tom.

That idiot directly ran towards the core or origin of the attack as he keep doughing the rock bullets that keep coming towards him but he misses some of them or it was too late for him to move and douge, for those he used his sword.

Motherfu*ker, he is definitely trying to impress the two heroine here.

Suddenly thought he was kicked with what seemed like a leg, it was fast that even I was sure I will be unable to douge it even though I would be able to see it.

The kick neared Tom from a very difficult angle it to defend but somehow, he was able put his sword in between the attack as he flew in another corner of the room while taking the sword support to land.

’That was really like a protagonatist if you ask me: I thought as I saw the two beauties and indeed ember look impressed as for aria, umm, well I really don’t understand what she is thinking.’

After that, I also came out of my hiding spot as the two heroine followed and watch in front of me with narrowed eyes.

The dust also settled down and we all saw a dog like wolf of twice the human height, it’s legs alone can reach my chest in comparing size.

It is covered by rocks all over its body, except three locations on his body including his mouth when he open it and its eyes.

I use my appraisal skill on it to collect more information about this thing.

Yup, this is the boss of the first floor and the guardian of the way towards the 2nd floor.

His speed is just faster than me, I saw it when he kicked tom. While he has two offensive skills covering his attacking base, dash and earthquake.

While even it’s defense are of no joke. The rocks on its body are rock hard. All in all, it is a complete package with only one weakness, it just have 100 points of health and if we can targets it’s weak points again and again, they will came down in a breeze.

But it’s still not easy. If I was alone here, I wouldn’t have tried to fight but fortunately, I have my ember with me.

I thought as I smiled and looked towards the heroine who can even solo this boss, that is if she used all her strength. Not only is she strong, she also has all the means to tackle this beast attacks.

"GRRRRAAAA!!!" The beast roared loudly as it started running towards Tom aria madly, she look towards me for a moment and said, "You are a close combat fighter right, I will give you support from the backlines." She said as she started running away after she saying what she want me to do and as all I could dow as grit my teeth and prepare for the fight.

The wolf change its charge direction as it started running towards me, I immediately understood that it was attempting it’s dash skill on me as I waited for it to come near before jumping and rolling to my right.

I could have used my newly learned spell, mana barrier but I only have a novice level mastery in the spell and even deploying it takes 10 mana for 5 minutes which is just too much from my 15 point tank, even mana bullet requires 5 mana for one use.

Tom appeared out of nowhere and started using his sword wildly on the rock filled body of our opponent. This idiot was swinging his sword without any technique and sometimes even hit sword flat on it.

But still, it leaves a few marks on the rocks and if it continues, he may even break it. It would have broken by now if he know how to use a sword though. I also stand from the ground and directly jumps on the wolf back.

The landing was successful and I then take my stone dragger to try hitting but in the end, the rock on this wolf was much more durable.

But our actions certainly make the rock wolf angry as madly started jumping on its location, I soon have to jump from there since there wasn’t anything like fur to which I can hold onto and make balance.

After I landed near ember and tom near aria, the wolf look at all of us with anger as it jumps high and I saw the Qi in the room moving towards him.

I haven’t been able to use Qi but I am definitely able to see it moving in the world and seeing it moving now definitely doesn’t gave me a good feeling.

As the wolf come down with Qi wrapped around his legs which send alarm signals in my head and when it landed.... the Qi spread everywhere in the room and unnatural phenomenon of earthquake happened.

It was a very high level earthquake, maybe around the magnitude of 9 if occurred naturally. It was enough to destroy cities and communities.

It was even difficult for me to keep my balance in this situation much less gave a fight to the opponent and it was same for everyone else to.

But then, I saw how big wings sprouted on ember’s back just when she was about to take a flight, I somehow was able to hold onto her legs and then, I was in the sky.

Not sky because there was still a rock ceiling above us, but it still felt great to be able to fly in the limitless sky.

I saw below how Tom and aria was struggling to keep balance and the wolf was looking at us with angry eyes but wasn’t leaving from its place, maybe to maintain skill, but that’s good too.

Since I was at a great height above the ground, I thought that I should hold more tightly onto ger so was not to fall least I had an accident.

That’s why, I moved by climbing a bit on her leg and hold on to her thighs tightly. ’Damn, they are soft.’, I thought as I enjoyed the softness.

Ember watch all this with fire in her eyes. At first, she ignored him when he hold her ankle when she was about to take a flight, since he was still her party member and she understand that he needs help with the attack.

But seeing his action now, she couldn’t take it anymore and started shaking his leg to remove him from her thighs.

"What are you doing, do you want to see me become an omelet." I said to the women who seems to be hellbent to make me remove from her thighs.

"Leave me alone, you pervert!?" She said as she continues to shake her legs.

"Don’t do this okay, I feel that I will really fall. Thi- this is making me afraid!" I said as buried my face in her plump butt, this is heaven.
