CHAPTER 115: CAPTURING FOUR MORE SS-RANK MONSTER LORDS!

Thirty minutes have passed since Ainsworth counterinvaded the Monster World.

Aside from ordering his monster army to spread his monster virus globally, he also commanded them to find valuable resources, especially those that could enhance the Luck stat attribute.

Even if he didn’t highly need the Luck stat attribute, it wasn’t bad to stock up on resources that could improve it. After all, if his Luck stat attribute was higher than his enemies, then it would passively increase his chances of defeating them or at least successfully escaping from them.

Unfortunately, even after those thirty minutes had passed, none of his monsters found any resources that could enhance the Luck stat attribute.

While the search for Luck stat attribute enhancement resources was unfruitful, Ainsworth’s monster army didn’t waste their thirty minutes of traveling around the Monster World.

In just thirty minutes, his monster army has finally ensured that the Monster Virus has been deeply rooted in the Monster World.

In other words, unless someone could remove all of his monster viruses at the same time, then no one could remove the monster virus. It would only be a matter of time before every monster in this world would be assimilated by the monster virus.

What’s even more frightening was that as long as one monster virus managed to infect a monster, then that monster was as good as infected.

As long as they have just one monster virus inside their body, it will multiply fast, and they’ll become part of the Hive Mind.

Aside from contaminating the Monster World with the monster virus, the monster army had also encountered a total of four SS-rank Monster Lords in their travels.

Most of the SS-rank Monster Lords were invading Earth, but there were still Monster Lords staying in the Monster World. Because of that, a thirty-minute travel had allowed them to encounter a total of four of them.

Needless to say, all four of those SS-rank Monster Lords were defeated by Ainsworth. Not only were they infected by the monster virus, but they were assimilated into the Hive Mind as well.

As usual, Ainsworth had shrunk them and stored them in his hair so that they’d be labeled as part of him. They’ll be useful when he would partake in Otherworld Missions since an SS-rank Monster Lord was still a powerhouse that could destroy a continent.

Ainsworth hadn’t reached a level of power yet where SS-rank subordinates were useless. Because of that, even the S-rank monsters he controlled were still relevant and were the main vanguards of his monster army.

As for the SS-rank Monster Lords he dominated, they’ll only be released when necessary. Preferably, he planned to give them as bodyguards to Elyndra, Rian, and Dante, as well as other future teammates of his.

After all, not all Awakeners were as monstrous as he. Nevertheless, Ainsworth had no plans yet of going solo as he wanted Rian and Dante to become powerful enough to protect Earth.

’There’d inevitably be a time where I’d have to leave this world and leave the Awakener’s power system. Perhaps that will happen when I reach XX-rank or XXX-rank power level.’

’When that happened, it’d be best if Earth had powerhouses that are not far weaker than me protecting it. That’s when my teammates like Rian and Dante come in. They’ll protect Earth while I travel the Otherworlds.’

’Even the resources I don’t need are enough to make my teammates who participate in the Otherworld Mission stronger than most awakeners. So as much as possible, it’s best if I can bring as many talented Awakeners whom I can trust, like Rian and Dante, to accompany me in Otherworld Missions.’

While Ainsworth thought about that, his intentions were purely due to wanting his home world to be safe while he was away. After all, no one traveling outside would want their home to be in ruins when they returned from a long journey.

As Ainsworth became stronger, the more he realized how vast the world truly was, and becoming an Awakener above SSS-rank wasn’t the end.

Rather, it was merely a starting point.

Those inhabitants who came from higher worlds were even born with the power of SSS-rank, yet Awakeners needed to participate in countless Otherworld Missions before they could achieve that.

The gap between life levels and world limit was that high. Of course, if Earth were given enough time to develop, then it truly has the potential to become a high-ranking world.

Earth even managed to reach this far despite having only a 30-year period of development, which made it an anomaly among worlds in the multiverse.

While Ainsworth was lamenting the difference between those who were born from a higher world and those who weren’t, he soon received a message from his monster army.

Stretching his arms, Ainsworth stood up from the tree branch and no longer lay down lazily.

Looking at the cloudy sky and feeling the refreshing breeze, Ainsworth caught a green leaf that was carried by the wind.

Holding it in his right hand, he chuckled, "My monster army sure is lucky; they encountered another SS-rank Monster Lord."

The message Ainsworth had received from his monster army via the Hive Mind was that they were asking for support. While S-rank Monsters were powerful, they still couldn’t surround and subdue an SS-rank Monster Lord.

Besides, he never expected them to do that as he had already ordered them to report if they ever encountered an SS-rank Monster Lord. It was up to him to deal with an SS-rank Monster Lord since he could easily defeat them by infecting them with his monster virus.

Afterwards, Ainsworth could then shrink them and store them in his hair. So even if his entire monster army combined could defeat an SS-rank Monster Lord, he still opted to deal with them himself.

With that in mind, Ainsworth determined the coordinates of the SS-rank Monster Lord sent by his monster army.

Holding the green leaf between his index and middle finger as if he were holding a throwing card, Ainsworth used Freedom Of Speech and Ultimate Freedom as he spoke:

"I hereby proclaim that this green leaf will lock onto and hit my target no matter what, regardless of distance!"
