SSS Class Awakening: Start With A God-Level Choice System
Chapter 129: Erasing The Existence Of A Hundred Monster Lords
CHAPTER 129: ERASING THE EXISTENCE OF A HUNDRED MONSTER LORDS
After Ainsworth spread his monster virus throughout the entire Monster World, it was a given that most of the monsters had already been assimilated into his Hive Mind.
But this time, he didn’t steal the monsters from the Monster World aside from increasing his captured SS-rank Monster Lords to ten, just to make it an even number.
As usual, he didn’t want to alert the Monster World’s World Will. But aside from that, having more than ten SS-rank Monster Lords wouldn’t make much of a difference. After all, he was far stronger than those Monster Lords, and their use was only to be a guardian beast for his teammates in the next Otherworld Mission.
It was worth noting that even though he didn’t take more SS-rank Monster Lords, he still captured powerful S-rank monsters that could fly or swim. He planned to make use of them as carriers of his viruses if he ever arrived in the Otherworld, so they were merely disposables.
Monsters below S-rank were mass-producible, while monsters at S-rank were uncommon resources but were still renewable. Only SS-rank Monster Lords and SSS-rank Monster Kings were difficult to appear in the world. Because of that, only they would be taken seriously by the Monster World’s World Will.
For example, there were only several hundred SS-rank Monster Lords in the Monster World, and although it seemed many, it was due to how vast the Monster World was and how high its population was.
Moreover, it would take a considerable amount of time for S-rank Monsters to evolve into SS-rank Monster Lords, so they truly were a scarce resource in the Monster World.
Although Ainsworth believed so, he couldn’t help but mischievously think, ’Why do I feel like snatching a hundred more SS-rank Monster Lords? If I were to make use of a hundred Monster Lords, I am confident I can let them have a combined power that could even deal with SSS-rank beings.’
When that thought popped up in his mind, he decisively decided, ’Well, what am I afraid of? A hundred SS-rank Monster Lords’ quantity will lead to a qualitative change in my hands, and they’ll be useful in the next Otherworld Mission.’
’If I ever alert the Monster World’s Will, at worst, I’ll just forcefully rewrite the historical records. I still have four minutes of peak Five-Star SSS-rank Awakener power so I can do whatever I want within that time frame.’
’And besides, even if they won’t ever be useful, at least I still have them. Having a gun in hand and not using it is different from having no gun at all.’
After deciding to take a hundred SS-rank Monster Lords, Ainsworth kept his monster virus since it was much more convenient when it came to being at multiple places at once.
It was worth noting that even if Ainsworth became smaller, he still managed to retain most of his power while in monster virus form.
Because of that, even when Ainsworth was invisible to the naked eye and could only be seen under a microscope, he still used his size manipulation superpower to shrink an SS-rank Monster Lord and then store it in his subspace.
He captured a hundred Monster Lords all at once as if they suddenly disappeared out of thin air, or didn’t even exist.
And Ainsworth was going to make sure that they wouldn’t exist as he used Freedom of Movement (SSS) to teleport and immediately reorganize himself, returning to his human form.
Afterwards, he used Ultimate Freedom (SSS) and Freedom of Speech (SSS) as he declared, "Those hundred SSS-rank Monster Lords didn’t disappear, they didn’t exist in the first place."
Under Ainsworth’s declaration twisted, and while the lives of a hundred Monster Lords were something major, it wasn’t to the point that the Monster World’s Will couldn’t accept losing them.
Because of that, the resistance of the Monster World’s Will when he changed the world’s historical records wasn’t that high. It also helped that the hundred Monster Lords, which Ainsworth had captured, were all carefully selected.
There were all those Monster Lords who didn’t have much impact in history and could even be said to be invisible to the public eye. Naturally, their weight of existence was much lower, so erasing their existences from the historical records was far easier compared to erasing an SSS-rank Monster King’s existence.
It explained why Ainsworth didn’t erase the SSS-rank Ancient Space Dragon’s existence when he captured him, but merely made it so that the Ancient Space Dragon died in battle.
The weight of an SSS-rank Monster King’s existence was very heavy, and it would consume him a lot of energy just to erase their existence from the records, so he didn’t bother to but merely fabricated history in a way that they would disappear legitimately.
’If I were to pull this off on Earth to erase an SS-rank Awakener’s existence, then it would receive more resistance as SS-rank Awakeners were very active in spreading the influence of their existence as they left their mark in countless Otherworlds.’
’Moreover, the Earth Will is much more intelligent and sentient than the Monster World’s Will, so changing historical records on Earth will receive more resistance than here.’
’Although, if it’s merely to erase the existence of weak Awakeners like that annoying young master Caspian, it would be much more plausible.’
Ainsworth still hadn’t forgotten that Caspian had hired an assassin team to assassinate him. Even without his SSS-rank Awakener power, just his base power as a peak SS-rank Awakener was more than enough to deal with him.
No matter how great Caspian’s background was, he believed it wasn’t to the point that he had an SSS-rank Awakener in their family.
Even if exterminating Caspian’s family would cause controversy amongst Awakeners, Ainsworth had already prepared for that, and that’s one of the main reasons why he let Supreme Archmagister Lucien owe him two favors.
It just so happened that one favor could be used to deal with such a matter, and with Lucien’s backing, other SSS-rank Awakeners wouldn’t dare wade in such muddy water.
’Well, at worst, I can just make use of my God-Level Assassin talent to exterminate Caspian’s entire family tree without leaving any evidence.’
