A dark tentacle collected the pill from Su Ping before shoving it into his mouth.

' This isn't what I expected...' Su Ping stared at the pill that dropped onto the floor before a dark tentacle picked it up.

' His throat muscles and flesh have been severely destroyed... He can't swallow it himself.' Su Ping thought to himself. ' In that case, let's try something else.' Su Ping's hand morphed into his draconian claw before being enshrouded by darkness.

He then walked up to Marcus and sliced a hole in his abdomen that was out in the open. Su Ping the collected the pill from the dark tentacle and shoved it inside him.

He then mimicked the late captains healing ability to heal his cut in his stomach.

' If nothing happens, then i might've just wasted my time for nothing.' Su Ping focused and mimicked the late captains healing spell to heal some of Marcus's life threatening injuries before stepping back and watching.

Nothing seemed to happen, all they saw was Marcus's heart beat that continued to die out, beating more and more lighter with each moment until his heart eventually stopped.

' It failed?'

" Hmmm... " Su Ping approached Marcus. He squinted his eyes for awhile before his expression soured.

" Well that turned out to be a waste of time." Su Ping slashed open his stomach again before reaching in and taking out the strange pill. The death aura was slightly less prominent than before.

' It failed but the pills strength also decreased as well.' Su Ping sighed before staring at Vivian and Ranger.

' He's not thinking of making one of us eat that is he?!' Vivian trembled from fear yet in her mind she didn't deny the idea, she was scared of what might happen to her if she ate it and yet she didn't want to disappoint him at the same time.

Her conflicting expression was a peculiar sight that caught Su Ping's interests.

' Is she fighting the illusion?' He wondered to himself but he denied the thought because he didn't sense any resistance from her, just fear.

" Vivian, please tidy up this place. Also, get me a glass of water if you would." In the end, Su Ping placed the pill back into his storage ring.

" As you wish master, please give me a moment." Vivian hurried off to complete his task, inward, she was grateful that her master didn't use her as his guinea pig for his experiment.

At the same time, he also retrieved the black pills he created out of the other thugs before swallowing all of them in one gulp.

Su Ping smiled with satisfaction after eating them, though faint, he felt his body reacting faintly as if he'd completed the evolution requirements, though by a small amount.

' It's not much but it'll have to do for now. Now that they're no longer any distractions, we can finally focus on the discussion at hand.'

' By discussion I just wanna know where I can procure more necromancer items like that spell book.'

Su Ping said before sitting back down. The bearded man joined him as well and they began the earlier conversation they were having before the southern region gang members interrupted them.

" So your saying I can acquire those items from just about any shop?" Su Ping asked, he was surprised because he thought it would be hard to procure such items.

" Not quite master, random shops only sell items around Lvl 1, sometimes you might get lucky and find Lvl 2 items in them but only well known shops are known to sell Lvl 2 and above items." said Ranger. " The guild's are usually known to sell items to buy only dark guilds sell the best stuff."

" Dark Guilds?" Su Ping asked, intrigued. The was the first time he'd heard of the thing.

" Dark Guilds are a special type of guild that specifically caters to us Dark mages. With the kingdom and some neighboring countries only accepting us dark mages on the surface, you could say some dark mages came together to create these guilds so as to ease the burden on fellow dark mages."

' Hmm... So it seems there are many things I still don't know about this world.'

" Are there any other special organization's like Dark guilds?" Su Ping asked.

" Non that I know of master but the holy knight's who serve the holy church can be said to be a special organization. Besides them, there's the Royal Knights of the kingdom and the Dark and White Knight legions who take other's from the king directly." Ranger said but he smiled wryly when Su Ping motioned for him to stop.

' That type of information isn't what I'm after.' Su Ping said before standing up from his seat. ' Since that's about all he has to say, then there's no reason for me to stay here any longer.

" Ranger, I'm tasking you with helping Vivian run this place, if they're anyone who come looking for trouble you can't deal with.' Su Ping voice trailed off, a Wandering wraith suddenly emerged Infront of Rugard.

" You can use this guy as a back up plan. If anyone more troubling comes, it'll immediately come to find me." Su Ping added.

The aura of the Lvl 2 rare tier undead made Rugard feel pressured. He still remembered how the master had defeated him without lifting a finger with just 3 of these.

" Thank you master. I'll be sure to live up to your expectations." Rugard bowed gratefully. Su Ping nodded.

" Master, your water." Vivian came with the glass of water, passing it to him.

Su Ping gladly collected it before drinking the entire glass, he felt refreshed afterwards. He then glanced at the bar once more before leaving. He dispelled the bone wall before walking out but not before putting it back up again to buy them time to clean up the mess.

Su Ping then took a quiet walk back to the inn. He already had the volume 2 book of necromancy by the one eyed lich king so he didn't plan on purchasing any other item for now.

" What's going on here." On arriving at the inn, Su Ping turned skeptical when he saw some enforcer knights located in front of the inn. " They're not just two of them." Su Ping also spotted a few more hidden enforcer knights placed all over the area.

" Are they looking for me? But why, I don't recall leaving any traces behind, even if I did, I wasn't the one who owns all those corpse's." Su Pings gaze squinted. Su Ping concluded that they're three possible reasons for the enforcer knights to be lying in wait.

The first thing he thought of was that someone with criminal tendencies was discovered to have been staying at the Inn prompting them to take action.

' That's highly unlikely because I've never sensed anyone like that within the inn, the only one's living in the inn are common adventurers with a few of them being at Lvl 1 Rare tier and one at Lvl 2 common tier.'

' It's more likely that someone's decided to use me as some sort of scapegoat or the third reason which is that someone noticed me last night and followed me back to the inn...'

' The latter is far more unlikely because I made sure to watch my back and clean my tracks last night, if someone was able to stalk me then they should've been able to capture me instead of waiting all this time.' Su Ping said to himself before walking into the inn, he walked past the two enforcer knights at the gate yet no one reacted.

' The 3rd option is even more improbable because the enforcer knights they sent are too weak to be used as reinforcements against me.' Su Ping spotted some enforcer knights within the inn hall as well but he simply walked past them before making his way upstairs.

' So he's the one in charge of this group?' Su Ping looked at the enforcer knight Infront of his room door, he could sense the man's magical power which was a surprising Lvl 3 elite.

" What?" The man who was leaning against the wall suddenly frowned before glancing in Su Ping's direction. " Well that's weird, I thought I sensed something..."

' Well would you look at that, he can actually sense my gaze.' Su Ping smiled. He wasn't worried the man would see through his illusion, so long as one wasn't a Lvl 3 Rare tier, they couldn't notice the distortions caused by his illusion, Lvl 3 elite tier's could at least sense him which was troubling.

Su Ping activated his innate ability, dousing the man with another dose of illusions.

" What's going on, why do I suddenly feel..."

The enforcer knights eyelids slowly grew heavy but he shook his head, keeping himself awake. " No, I can't fall asleep now." The man rubbed his temple's.

" I have to stay focused or I'll have the vice-captain breathing down my neck later on." The

man sighed, recalling his little meeting with the vice-captain of the enforcer knights stationed in Rose City.
