Meanwhile, inside a popular restaurant in London. One of its private VIP dining rooms to be precise. A young petite slender lady glanced at her wrist watch.

"Why isn’t he here yet?..."

Her soft voice laced with worry filled the exquisite interior for a moment as the curtains pulled just right after.

Max, who seemed to have heard her drifting worry, appeared with a banquet of flowers in his hands as he entered- halting in his steps with a stunned expression as his eyes admired her eloquent beauty.

Wearing a red one-piece short dress that hugged her slender frame, her eyes lit up through her glasses as she rose on her feet. Stepping forward at the same time, then into his open arms.

Her arms slided around his neck and he welcomed her slender waist after a long time by wrapping it tight in his embrace.

Feeling each other’s close warmth for the moment, they didn’t say a word till her palpating heart calmed down.

Raising the fork, he lifted a piece of steak towards her mouth.

Seeing this, her face flushed even more as she gobsmackingly parted her lips to receive the steak.

Grinning inwardly at her expression, he opened his mouth motioning her to place one in his mouth in a similar manner too.

"Nice." Savoring the rich smoky flavor he commented as he watched her blush even more.

After his little teasing, they got to talk about his exams after she left.

Asking about her mother’s health, he also took the chance to know if she was an only child under the guise of her siblings’ welfare.

"Yes, the surgery was successful, thanks for asking." Revealing a delighted smile, she sipped the glass of wine for the tenth time.

After an awkward silence with nothing to talk about, he moved to her seat which was enough to occupy three people and sat.

Turning to her to see a tint of timid lust hiding in the depth of her pupils, he asked without hesitation.

"Should we do it?" he asked, just to instantly receive a vulnerable quick nod in response as her tensed shoulders relaxed.
