[Talent Awakened- The Future Sight, functions- (Unknown???)]

[Reminder- For some unknown reasons, the power stats have increased considerably.]

My hunch was correct, analysing the system data I was sure that even the system had no idea about my new talent, the future sight.

The system didn’t have the slightest idea regarding the abilities that I got with my talent awakening- Clairvoyance, Intuition, Simulation and Devourer.

I readily recalled the information that appeared in my head just a while back about these abilities and their subsequent uses.

As for the system error that my Fallen Bloodline disappeared and my power stats mysteriously increased?....I was sure that it was the work of my devourer ability that decisively devoured that foreign bloodline to directly increase my stats.

Is this what it meant by the phrase- Devouring other powerful bloodlines to become a stronger human?

-The system asked in the same mechanical voice devoid of any feelings.

Feeling a bit fishy, my sixth-sense was immediately alarmed, with my intuition ability that I have just gained, I had a strong premonition that I must keep these details from the system.

What if this system were just a tool of a powerful being? Or a plot to control an Earth traveller like me?

Gasps~

"No, system, even I don’t understand the reason for the sudden changes."

"Maybe, it’s because of some unforeseen error or perhaps a glitch?"

My tone was neutral like I was the most clueless person in this world.

I got an instant reply.

Anyway, even if I was being used or being plotted against, my relationship with this system was of an absolute client-customer type.

It uses me and I use it in return, a deal of equal transaction.

I was not getting these rewards for free in the first place, God knows how many times I was on the verge of death.

Once I am powerful enough, I will surely go to the depths of the mysteries shrouding this seemingly almighty system.

With a newfound determination, I finally started checking my phone.

The notification screen of my Wize app was flooded with messages.

"Huh?"

"Asuna’s message?"

"The message came at 4 a.m., just an hour back?"

I once again checked the clock- it was currently 6.50 am.

"Is she not sleeping?"

A question popped into my head.

"And what’s with this message?"

Even though I had spent an interesting night with Asuna and guessed her personality was like an eccentric tsundere-type, I was not foolish enough to assume she had fallen for me or that there was some spark in between us.

The other party was someone who had probably mercilessly slaughtered countless humans.

"Should I reply?"

"And how did she know I had not gone to school yesterday?"

"Stalking me?"

"No!"

"She shouldn’t be that free."

"So, is she also a student there.....or maybe a teacher?"

This probability hit my brain.

Coincidences sometimes can be really cruel.

"It seems I may regularly see her now."

As the weight of the realisation hit me, I sighed with a deep emotion.

My fingers hovering over the mobile screen finally started typing.

{Me- Hey, remember I said I had hypoglycaemia during the party?....and you gave me a lap pillow?}

{Me- I got sick after coming home later and took a leave.}

{Me- What happened? Anything important?}

I cleverly texted my replies.

Just as I was about to put down my mobile, I instantly received her message back.

"Huh?"

"So fast?"

"Was she fiddling with her phone this time?"

I compared her action to mine where I scrolled various reels during my free time, but the timing didn’t make much sense.

{Asuna- Don’t mention that lap pillow thing in front of anyone, forget that it even happened, remembering it makes me feel nauseous and disgusted.}

{Asuna- Anyways, my friends and I are also new students in your final year class. Maybe I was too beautiful?.....Thus, I was approached by various boys who confessed to me one after another. Seeing me getting annoyed, Parul declared that I already had a boyfriend and then she briefly mentioned you.}

{Asuna- So I wanted to clarify in advance that it was not me who started these rumours in case you hear them today at the school. Repeat: I feel nothing for you nor am I affected by such gossip.}

Understanding her long paragraphs of explanations, I just shook my head like it was a trivial matter.

Since I had always treated Asuna as a tool to get the system rewards, all these rumours didn’t affect me the slightest.

In fact, with such lively gossip, my reputation will rise to a whole new degree that I managed to date such a hot beauty.

I patiently replied.

A part of me wanted to ask her why she was awake so early and sent me a message at 4 a.m.

After all, this doesn’t seem the ideal time, but I managed to hold back my curiosity.
