Stealing The Crazy Yandere Lovers
Chapter 40: After the class
CHAPTER 40: AFTER THE CLASS
It was the last period, and it was Geography Class, my weakest subject.
The period passed without any major disturbance, at least for me!
But for Asuna, who was touched by my earlier sweet talk, she spent the previous 45 minutes pretending to admire the empty playground through the old-tinted window panes.
I glanced at her occasionally and could see her ruby eyes flicker from time to time, her mind seemed to be occupied by something else.
It wasn’t like I was acting like a stalker; I was just making sure she was okay.
After all, it will be unfavourable for me if this ruthless killer holds a grudge for teasing her.
On my right side, Parul kept strangely looking at us like we were performing some slice-of-life drama shooting, I even saw her rubbing her palms in excitement, she seemed to be mumbling something in her mouth.
God knows what this Parul was thinking.
This Asuna was enough trouble for me, my only wish at the moment was that Parul just behaved normally and not do something out of the blue.
Clang~
At last, the bell finally rang.
It was a seemingly tiring day for normal humans, everyone lazily stretched their hands and readily packed their bags.
Some wanted to run home and sleep while others wanted to rush to the playground to do their sports, and not to forget some typical geeky students who would go to their respective extra-curricular clubs after school, a typical high-school student’s life.
I could hear the energetic whispers around me, most of them were regarding my confrontation with Beatrix, and with such a commotion, I was sure to become a celebrity on my debut day.
But I can’t blame them.
A student challenging an arrogant and proud teacher’s demeanour while shamelessly hitting on the school-belle, this was bound to attract natural gossip.
It was finally time for me to leave, I still had to do my part-time job at the grocery store.
The daily grind till 5 p.m. was still far from over.
As I was just getting up from my seat, I realised the class was almost empty, but Asuna was still sitting absent-minded.
"Hey?"
I called out as a fellow deskmate.
Hearing my voice, her shoulder trembled for a second, but she slowly turned around.
"Asuna," I once again called her name.
Her eyebrows raised sharply as she made an irritated face.
"What do you want?"
She spoke with a bit of frustration, but her red ears easily told me she was pretending so her image as a cold bitch didn’t collapse.
"You forgot something."
"What?"
She looked straight into my eyes.
Flinching at her shooting voice, I reflexively coughed.
"You forgot an important thing."
Under her complex eyes, I slowly bent down and held the geography book she had dropped unknowingly.
"Here, even if you are a supernatural woman with amazing abilities, without a proper book, how will you pass the latter exams?"
I gently passed her the book she had dropped.
As she took it, her fingers nudged past mine for an acute second.
Like getting an electric shock, she hastily pulled back her outstretched hand.
Then she stood there silently.
I also gulped in response.
"We are just fake!"
"A fake couple with no real feelings.....don’t you dare touch me again lest your hand will be torn mercilessly."
Asuna gave a stern warning, her body shaking with a subtle rage.
Although her words were filled with venom, for some reason I thought they lacked the earlier lethality.
As if she was explaining it to herself instead of me~
With her strong remarks, the air seemed to be frozen between us.
"Actually, it wasn’t me."
"It wasn’t me, but you who first touched me."
I replied playfully.
Perhaps because we were still at a bustling place like a school, I knew she wouldn’t be able to take any action against me even if she wanted to.
Courage is a strange thing, with the adrenaline constantly surging, it helps you get over your fears easily.
Ugghhhh~
"I......"
".....feel so damn annoyed."
This was not a human sound, but rather a shriek that rang loudly in my ear with an eerie gloomy air.
She straight away narrowed the distance between us and hissed in a dangerous voice.
"I don’t care if people are watching us or not!"
"If I want to kill, no one can stop me."
Asuna gave a bold warning, this time she seemed dead serious.
I dare not mess with her anymore.
Tsk Tsk~
"So frustrating."
Stomping her feet in annoyance, Asuna walked out the door.
Her pace was slow, her long black hair swayed behind like a dangerous waterfall.
But why was there a creepy smile on her face as she left?
She was definitely a case of bipolar disorder, changing her expressions as fast as a chameleon.
I wanted to tease Asuna more, it was fun watching a ruthless killer like her feel embarrassed, but because of my new ability, I stopped in time.
FUTURE SIGHT TALENT TRIGGERED-
[INTUITION]- YOUR HEART AND SOUL CAN SENSE ANY POTENTIAL LIFE-THREATENING DANGER IN ADVANCE.
I had a strong premonition- That if I had pushed my luck and spoken something more provocative, my head would have left the body in no time.
’Damn.....system, why do I still feel so dangerous around Asuna?’
’Is she secretly hiding and her strength is more than the peak of Four Winged Angel?’
[Ding!]
[Back to the host, since Rainaziel is a mixed blood, her latent demon power in bloodline is still dormant, when triggered at the right time, she can awaken that dormant power and her strength can soar crazily.]
[But how did the host find out that his life was in danger?]
[The system didn’t find any abnormality in the previous interaction with Rainaziel?]
"That’s because..."
I almost blurted out the functions of my newly awakened Future Sight, but stopped at the last second.
Due to my previous wariness and self-reasoning, trusting and telling the system everything seemed too risky to me.
"That’s because her face looks so ugly just when she stabbed me on our first date, you know I don’t want to be stabbed again."
I blurted out perfunctionally.
