Stealing The Crazy Yandere Lovers
Chapter 43: My answer
CHAPTER 43: MY ANSWER
Asuna’s and Beatrix’s rampage was not something she wanted at the moment.
But her reasoning and explanation were flawed from the beginning, never seeing things from my perspective.
I stepped back and sincerely bowed before taking my leave.
"I can’t."
"I won’t."
Hearing my answer, Claire muttered, "Really?"
"Yes."
"Even if it puts your life in danger, even if you become a sinner of humanity?"
Claire’s head was lowered.
"Wealth and Health go hand in hand."
"Only by taking risks can I soar further."
I replied with my vicissitude of life.
"I just explained how dangerous your situation is, but you still refuse, you are stupid!"
Claire exclaimed with frustration.
"Maybe I am."
"At least, I don’t regret my choices."
These were the real thoughts in my head.
"This is why I hate dealing with idiots like you!"
Claire’s voice once again became soft as she tugged the strands of her hair that had come forward when she yelled excitedly.
"Okay fine, I won’t care about your things anymore, but...."
She once again firmly held my fleeting hand.
"...I can understand why Beatrix was crying after losing to you, naturally, her ego was hurt."
"But what about Rainaziel?"
"What exactly happened between the two of you?"
"While she was running downstairs, I caught a glimpse of hers, her ears were so red."
Claire tried to appear as if she was filled with confusion.
This time my answer was precise,
"Nothing special, we just flirted a little."
"And Asuna.....she is just acting a bit cute."
I wanted this student council President to leave me, I was getting irritated with her repetitive questions.
Claire snapped back like she had heard the most ridiculous thing.
"You call that killing machine cute?"
"Yeah, what’s wrong?"
From the human point of aesthetics, each one of these bitches had an excellent appearance.
"That demon, that abomination, cute?"
Claire muttered under her breath, but because of close contact, I still caught what she said.
"Like you, isn’t she also allowed to have normal emotions?"
I explained with the bare understanding I had.
"She can’t have emotions."
"She shouldn’t because she is..."
Claire stopped just as she was about to complete her sentence.
"She is also a girl, a person like all of us."
I completed her sentence, for me as long as nothing happened to Asuna, I will be the happiest.
She was the system’s first dating target.
I don’t know when I will find my next date, after all, the other party also needs to be willing, which is very difficult because these supernatural chicks are so full of themselves.
In other people’s eyes, Asuna might be a hallbringer of death, but for me, she is just a collection of countless system rewards waiting to be redeemed.
Why would I leave my fat sheep?
Damn, if we put it like this- I appear to be a crafty wolf waiting patiently to fill my stomach with delicious meat.
Hearing my latest answer, Claire’s shoulders trembled, and losing her balance, she almost fell to the ground.
"How can someone like you exist?"
"You are a weak human who only has a faint fallen angel bloodline."
"Even if your entire life you practise diligently, your level can’t surpass that of a 4-Winged Fallen Angel."
Claire seemed to be taken aback.
"I know what you are trying to explain, but it’s okay."
The calmness on my face rebuked her.
"Then why?"
Claire asked one last time.
"It’s because others may be afraid of Asuna."
"But I am not!"
"Not in the slightest."
I spoke genuinely, there was no falsehood.
Gasps~
Claire was baffled.
She never expected to hear something like this.
Deep Silence~
With the fluctuating terrible aura that Claire was constantly emitting, even the group of students who had been watching from afar felt intimidated and had long run away.
"You’re stupid! My hunch was right."
"A screw is loose in your head."
If eyes were knives, I was pretty sure Claire would have stabbed me a thousand times.
"It’s okay, you don’t need to meddle in my business."
This was my final response.
Claire just patiently watched me trying to see a sign of any falsehood, but she was bound to be disappointed.
She could only stomp her feet in anger, in the end, she turned around and started walking away.
Tap Tap~
The fading sound of her long heels finally told me this strong lady was leaving.
But before she completely disappeared, Claire shot me a warning.
"I will keep an eye on you."
"And if you become a danger to her, to us.....I will be the first one to send you to the afterlife."
Watching her completely disappear, my hastened heartbeat finally started relaxing.
"Damn."
It was a lie to say I was not scared.
The sweat on my forehead was the direct evidence of my nervousness.
This episode of life and death made me realise how weak I was.
"I need to get stronger fast."
"The grind must become more brutal."
As I turned around and exited the school gate, another thought passed through my head.
I remembered that after my talent awakening, I had long devoured the 25% Fallen Angel Bloodline rewarded by the system so as per the system’s status window- I was still a human.
Not to forget because of my sub-talent, [Devourer],
I will always stay a human, my blood will naturally devour any powerful foreign bloodline to increase my physical stats.
According to my previous interactions with Asuna, Parul, Claire and Beatrix who scolded me a mixed blood so many times, what would be their expression upon finding that I am still a human?
Would their proud egos accept a human becoming stronger on par with them?
Or will they unanimously silence me to keep the supremacy of their respective supernatural races?
"I think Claire is right."
"I am a variable, no doubt about it."
Yes, the questions were numerous, but there was no point in getting stressed up about the things that concerned the future.
"Since my situation is ever-changing, why can’t the future be ever-changing?"
