Huo Shaohua was a little surprised by Song Yi’s arrival; he didn’t expect her to come here.

"Tomorrow...," Song Yi’s lips trembled slightly. She had come such a long way to bring his luggage.

He didn’t even have one word to persuade her to stay, instead urging her to leave in a hurry.

Does he really hate her that much?

"I’ll have Andy take you to the hotel later."

"Okay." Song Yi tightly gripped her bag’s strap, watching the man working diligently before her.

In the ensuing time, the office fell very quiet, with only the sound of his writing audible.

Song Yi just silently sat beside him, watching him. It had been a long time since she looked at him so quietly.

That night, he stayed up all night again, reading through the documents without closing his eyes.

As the sky lightened, Huo Shaohua, accompanied by Andy, went to personally select materials.

Tian Ning and Hu Yuxi had already set off to inspect the branch offices across the country.

After selecting the materials, they came back to the company to personally supervise the workers’ construction.

They issued a statement that the selected materials were the best and that they would deliver the houses on time.

Huo Group would bear any issues with purchased properties, offering ten times the compensation for any losses incurred.

They assured that such issues would not happen again, and this was just an unexpected incident.

From afar, Tian Xingyun watched him toil so hard, feeling a deep pain in her heart. She knew she shouldn’t have come.

But hearing about such a significant issue, she couldn’t stay at home and brought Tianxin back to the old house for grandma to take care of.

The Huo Family’s driver then brought her over, and the driver asked if she wanted to call the young master.

She shook her head, saying not to tell him for now; he was already in enough chaos.

She came just to see him and would feel at ease seeing that he was alright.

Clutching the insulated lunch box in her hand, she took two steps forward, then stepped back.

Song Yi, holding lunch, walked slowly towards him. The uneven ground at the construction site made it difficult for her in high heels.
