Step Aside, My CEO Ex-Husband!
Chapter 538 - 539 Begging You 3
CHAPTER 538: CHAPTER 539 BEGGING YOU 3
The remaining three still refused to speak, glaring angrily at Huo Shaohua.
Huo Shaohua extended his hand, and Ziyang quickly handed him a white towel.
"If you don’t talk, you can only watch your own brothers suffer a fate worse than death!" Huo Shaohua wiped the blood off the short knife with the white towel.
After cleaning the blood off the knife, he tossed the towel aside and walked over to the brazier, plunging the tip of the short knife into the embers.
He took step after step towards the second brother, who stared at him with fierce eyes.
If only he could kill him and tear him to pieces!
"It seems you’re not going to talk either, so I won’t waste my breath!" Huo Shaohua shook his head in a disappointed tone, raising his hand.
Ziyang, now wearing gloves, retrieved the short knife from the brazier.
He walked over to Huo Shaohua and handed him the gloves, which Huo Shaohua put on.
Ziyang placed the red-hot short knife into his hand; these special gloves could crush the knife and were impervious to the heat.
Huo Shaohua gripped the short knife, approaching the second brother while measuring his chest with the other hand.
The red-hot short knife swiftly pierced the spot one inch from the second brother’s heart.
The second brother’s eyes widened as the cloth in his mouth slowly turned red with blood!
Huo Shaohua’s hand left the handle and moved to the blade, exerting a bit of force to snap the knife in two.
Half remained in his hand, the other half stayed in the second brother’s body.
Huo Shaohua threw down the knife and slowly walked towards the third brother, a taunting smile on his lips: "Let’s make a deal. Tell me what this symbol means, and I’ll free you. You can choose to face me in a battle to the death."
Ziyang held the paper with the symbol, showing it to the third and fourth brothers.
The first brother whimpered with all his strength, tears streaming down his face as blood spurted from his mouth.
He agreed to Huo Shaohua’s terms; he didn’t want his brothers to suffer any longer.
He’d rather die quickly than endure this endless torture.
The second brother nodded slightly in agreement, unable to breathe from the pain.
Seeing the first brother agree, the other two also nodded.
"Good, cooperating earlier would have saved you some pain." Huo Shaohua sneered, raising his hand to signal Ziyang to release the two men.
Ziyang and two other men split into pairs, removing the cloths from their mouths.
Before they could bite into their poison, he held their jaws open and extracted the poison with pincers.
They dragged the third and fourth brothers to Huo Shaohua, who now sat on a stool holding a piece of paper.
"We don’t know what this symbol means, we’ve just seen one of our masters with this tattoo," the third brother answered.
"On the wrist?" Huo Shaohua asked.
"Yes."
"All the people with this tattoo are women," the fourth brother added.
"That’s all we know, we don’t know anything else."
"Alright." Huo Shaohua nodded, folding away the piece of paper. At least there was a clue now.
Next, Huo Shaohua honored his promise and faced the two in a duel.
As he emerged from the basement, his wound reopened, bleeding again.
He lay on the couch in the living room to rest, as Ziyang rebandaged his wound.
"Sir, you should go rest. We’ll handle things here," Ziyang said, concerned about his severe injury and blood loss.
"Take the first brother and throw him into the woods. Make sure he’s safe. If anything happens to him, don’t bother coming back."
"Understood!" Ziyang nodded.
Five minutes later, Huo Shaohua drove away from the villa, while Ziyang took the first brother to the woods as planned.
As soon as they left the villa, two shadows slipped inside.
They killed the guards at the post, entered the basement, and found the second brother.
Without a word, they drew their knives to end the second brother’s life.
