The brisk, cold wind blew over from the suburbs, filling the courtyard with the scent of flowers.

They had already thought it a steal renting this house for a hundred thousand yuan a year, but they did not expect the landlord to include so many precious flowers as well.

"Yeah, well, I wouldn’t exactly call it ’giving’. The landlord planted these flowers here, and now that he has gone abroad, he obviously can’t take them with him.
