CHAPTER 438: SHADOW REALM (2)

Silas thought for a moment and sent a thought to the shadow realm.

As much as he didn’t want to interfere with the matter of the Black Family, it was impossible for him not to find out in the slightest bit. Because they were still from the same family and Silas actually didn’t want to see them ending badly.

He split his mental thought, part of it was in the shadow realm and the other was left in the real world.

After all, he still has to watch over the area in case someone passed by. Even if this place has been abandoned, there might be some people who had nothing to do and wanted to go around. Or there might be people who were following Nathan and found out about this place.

Silas didn’t know whether Nathan had been here for a long time before or not.

He didn’t follow all of Nathan’s news.

Within the shadow realm, everything was dark.

The temperature was cold and when they were inside, they couldn’t even see or feel themselves. It felt as if they were completely empty. Everything outside didn’t seem to have any effect on them and there was nothing but themselves here.

It was odd.

But this was how it is in the shadow realm.

Silas looked around before he locked onto one side. He could ’see’ that within the shadow realm, two people were present and struggled to talk with each other.

"If you can’t, I’ll go to see you, Leon," Patrick’s voice could be heard. "Your shadow realm is not stable enough for you to do this."

"I have to master the shadow realm as soon as possible... Those ghost masters are coming to Wansu City," Leon’s voice could be heard.

"Wansu City." Patrick’s tone remained calm. "I thought you don’t care about anything there."

Leon didn’t answer.

He didn’t care about many things in Wansu City, yes. But it didn’t mean that he had nothing that he cared for.

"My friends... and my sister is there."

"Heh."

Leon looked at Patrick, hoping for the man to help him.

But he was bound to be disappointed.

"I have no interest to go back to Wansu City," Patrick replied coldly. "From what I know, the Fourth Head of the Wansu City is already in power and has changed many things. I’m sure that Dylan can handle him well."

Handle the Fourth Head of the Wansu City?

Leon didn’t think that it was possible.

The Fourth Head of the Wansu City has been staying in Wansu City and held the strongest power for who knows how long. He didn’t know what the Fourth Head of the Wansu City wanted to do, but the treatment towards the Black Family has been very harsh.

This caused a lot of conflicts between the Fourth Head of the Wansu City and the Black Family.

It seemed as if the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was venting all of his anger during the time the Fifth Head of the Wansu City was in power.

And Dylan...

Well, he hated the Fifth Head of the Wansu City from the very beginning and the Fourth Head of the Wansu City’s action only made his hatred deeper. The one who suffered in the end was Lilac because neither Dylan or the Fourth Head of the Wansu City would be willing to treat her well.

Because she’s the Fifth Head of the Wansu City’s daughter.

And the only one from the Fifth Head of the Wansu City’s faction who was still alive and operated in Wansu City.

These past two years, Leon didn’t know how his sister was doing.

But he could guess that she was not doing well.

Since Lilac had graduated, the Black Family didn’t have any obligation to take care of her anymore and Dylan would not want to take care of anyone from the Fifth Head of the Wansu City’s side.

"I’m far away from Wansu City right now." Patrick shook his head. "And as long as that man was still in power, I have no intention to return."

Wansu City in the hands of the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was simply the worst city that Patrick could imagine. What the Fourth Head of the Wansu City wanted to do was nothing more than to balance the power of the people in the city.

He himself was not powerful enough, so he didn’t want other families to be powerful.

Black Family has been restless, so the Fourth Head of the Wansu City targeted them.

And then, the White Family was also slowly being suppressed by the Fourth Head of the Wansu City because of this matter.

All kinds of dangerous missions were thrown to either the Black Family or the White Family.

"If you stay here any longer, you will only consume your lifespan until nothing is left." Patrick shook his head. He turned to the side. "And if you want to eavesdrop, you should use the shadow realm to cover up your presence. It’s easy to be found if you didn’t hide your presence at all."

In Leon’s confusion, Silas slowly walked out and approached the two of them.
