CHAPTER 451: CONFLICT (3)
"Success!" Rena Green cheered when she saw Evan destroying the teleportation formation.
But Aren still looked indifferent. His goal from the very beginning was not to stop Evan from destroying that teleportation formation.
Anyway, the rest of the ghost masters who hadn’t arrived were the weaklings who couldn’t do much in this battle. The ghost masters who had some abilities have already gathered and used their ghosts to cause chaos within the ghost realm.
"As expected," Aren said calmly.
"Aren, you..."
Bang!
"Ahhhh!"
The next moment, they saw Julius being dragged by the ghost and a huge hole appeared on his stomach.
The ghost that should not have any entity... well, to a certain degree the ghosts could actually touch them, but it was strange to see them attacking like normal people.
"Julius!"
Julius looked at his open stomach, coughed, and knelt on the ground.
"Tsk." Rena rushed over to Julius and then a light element spread from her hand. She has both the wood and light element, which allowed her to be both fighter and also healer. Her position in the team was both the healer of the team and also the control group.
But before Rena could start chanting, the ghosts had rushed over.
"Careful!"
Vines dragged Rena back and then several ghosts appeared in the place where she was standing just now.
"Wait, Julius is still...." Rena could not finish her words because she saw Julius being shredded by the ghosts and all words were stuck in her throat. She looked at the ghosts in front of her and had no words to say.
Rena completely understood that Aren didn’t have any plan to let them go.
Killing Julius so mercilessly...
"He’s your teammate!"
"Former teammate." Aren looked at the other three calmly. "Who’s being forced together into a team."
He had never liked Julius, so Aren didn’t really care about the other party. If anything, Aren had heard a lot of bad things about the Fourth Head of the Wansu City from the White Family Patriarch.
Because the Fourth Head of the Wansu City arranged for Julius to be in the same team as them, the White Family Patriarch specifically told him what he should be careful for. It was certain that Julius was arranged into the same team as them even if they were not close because the Fourth Head of the Wansu City wanted them to have bonds with Julius.
Because only if they were close with each other would the Fourth Head of the Wansu City have more weight when talking with the families behind them.
Aren felt that the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was really ridiculous.
He included his own grandson into his own calculation and made sure that Julius could be of use to the Fourth Head of the Wansu City.
That was one of the reasons why Aren could never get close to Julius. He knew better than anyone that even if they didn’t have much interaction in the academy, the Fourth Head of the Wansu City would still arrange for them to be together because of their background.
Thankfully, it was only for a year.
But that was more than enough for Aren to dislike the Fourth Head of the Wansu City.
Julius is very arrogant because of the Fourth Head of the Wansu City. He felt that he could do everything simply because the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was behind him.
So he often commands others in their missions.
This always made Aren sick.
"But he’s still..."
"Stop it, he won’t listen." Keiran could see that Aren would not listen to any of their words. He could see that Aren’s life force was diminishing and it wouldn’t take long for him to die, so there was no point to talk about this matter.
Even if Aren killed all of them, it didn’t seem that Aren would care that much.
"Aren White, you..."
Swish!
The ghosts started moving again and Aren looked at the three people calmly. "If you don’t want to die, you better start attacking."
The three people froze and then started chanting at the same time.
"I’m the shadow in the darkness. Living in the dark and eating the light to remain in the darkness. There are two sides of light and darkness, why can’t the darkness be the winner? Dark cannon."
"I’m the guide in the wind. I come and leave without any trace. Guide my path towards my target and let them feel my strike, guidance arrow!"
"I’m the messenger of light. The light is flourishing, illuminating the path for the lost. The light is a blessing and has the warmth of the world, providing protection and cleansing of the others. Protection and power, light of purification."
"Purification?"
Rena didn’t explain and simply let the light element spread out with her at the center.
The moment the light element reached these ghosts, the ghosts retreated at the fastest speed possible.
"They’re afraid of light..." Keiran frowned. "Wrong, why did you not use it before?"
"Because this is a rank 5 magic spell. Any lower and it would not work," Rena replied calmly. She had heard that light element magic spells were useful to deal with the ghosts. But at the same time, the rank has to be high enough.
"Pretty good but not enough."
Aren watched these people use their magic spells and chuckled lightly.
Swish!
The ghosts moved away and then forcefully rushing in.
"Impossible!"
Bang!
Keiran quickly formed a wood wall to block these ghosts from getting close to them. His expression was solemn because he knew very well that lower ranked magic spells would not last long. These ghosts were simply too strong.
He didn’t know how Aren managed to control these ghosts in the first place.
"As long as you give order, these ghosts will still get close to you." Aren looked at the three people calmly and then said, "Now, die."
Swish!
The ghosts swarmed in, wanting to devour them all whole.
