The corrosive liquid hit the ground, eroding it instantly. The green grass turned to ash in the blink of an eye.

Petra, Levy, and the others reached the outer area. They immediately took out their digital devices and called their fathers to report the situation.

At the same time, the Night Family Guards contacted their master, Ron Night. When the three City Governors heard the news, they were shocked.

Ron Night immediately left the city administration building and headed toward the wilderness. He knew a Tier-5 Worm Beast was dangerous.

Only Tier-5 Beast Tamers could handle such a threat. Petra's father also left the city administration building to assist Ron Night.

Jeremy retreated to a safe distance.

On the other hand, the Tier-5 Worm Beast grew increasingly frustrated.

It couldn't kill the elusive human beast tamer, who slipped away every time. Then it turned and saw that one of its group had been killed, leaving only three Tier-4 Worms.

Enraged, the Tier-5 Worm Beast shifted its focus, charging toward the Head Guards and their Lifeline Beasts.

Jeremy's expression changed. "Run!" he shouted.

The three Head Guards immediately recalled their Lifeline Beasts and began running.

A few seconds later, only Jeremy Night remained. He faced the Tier-5 Worm Beast and the three Tier-4 Worm Beasts alone.

Just as he prepared to confront the corrupted creatures, a loud noise came from behind.

Jeremy turned and saw his father, Ron Night. "Jeremy, get back. I'll deal with the beast," Ron said, launching an attack on the Tier-5 Corrupted Worm Beast.

Moments later, Petra's father arrived and joined Ron Night to confront the Tier-5 Worm Beast.

But Jeremy wasn't idle. The three Tier-4 Worm Beasts charged toward him.

He coated his blade with starlight liquid again. As the beasts closed in, he took the offensive.

Slash!

His blade danced through the air, slicing into the flesh of a Tier-4 Worm Beast. Unlike the Tier-5 Beast, the katana met no resistance, cutting easily through the beast's skin.

Cut!

Jeremy swiftly attacked the next two worm beasts in the same manner. Multiple slashes marred their bodies.

In the blink of an eye, a torrent of blood poured from the two corrupted worm beasts.

While the two City Governors were still fighting the Tier-5 Worm Beast, Jeremy Night had single-handedly brought the three Tier-4 Worm Beasts to the brink of death.

After delivering numerous slashes to the beasts' bodies, Jeremy retreated. He believed the three worm beasts would slowly bleed out.

This scene was witnessed by both Ron Night and Petra's father. Both were in shock, with Petra's father particularly terrified.

But their focus remained on defeating the Tier-5 Worm Beast in front of them. The Tier-5 Worm was cunning. After sustaining multiple injuries, it burrowed back underground.

It took the two City Governors ten minutes to drive the beast away. Meanwhile, the three Tier-4 Worm Beasts had bled to death, their corpses lying in pools of their own blood.
