The following day,

Jeremy woke up from sleep. He opened his eyes and saw the familiar ceiling. He had returned from the 14th Zone. Yet the problem there was unsolved.

He couldn’t help but spend a few minutes lying there on the bed. He didn’t want to get up. He didn’t know whether they had found any other corrupted beasts living there.

At that time, the appearance of the Tier-6 Horned Lizard was so sudden. Nobody had thought another terrifying beast was living there.

He started to regret it slightly. If he hadn’t used those special liquids, he would have stayed there for further investigation. But he knew why his parents were afraid.

They were afraid that the Human Alliance would get involved in this problem. There was a possibility for them to dislike his actions.

So he was not angry at his parents. Especially since his father was one of the City Governors. He didn’t want to cause problems for his father as well.

That’s why he had agreed to leave. Then he continued to look at the ceiling and got lost in thoughts.

He got out of bed and walked up to the big window. Daylight had covered the city. Everything became clear to his eyes.

Then he began to notice the big changes in the city. The city had been completely rebuilt. There were no damaged buildings in his line of sight.

He used his eye ability. Then he saw that the destroyed buildings were actually rebuilt. His eyes flashed with surprise.

Because not even a few days had passed. Yet this massive city was already rebuilt. There was no sign of the spider webs as well.

A curiosity appeared in his heart. He decided to go and look around the city. He immediately entered the bathroom to take a shower.

About 20 minutes later,

He walked out of the bath. Then he changed into fresh clothes. He was wearing the uniform of the Shadow Moon Organisation.

Then he exited the room and headed straight towards the lobby. When he arrived there, he noticed that the place had returned to normal.

The members and the staff were going about their business. He glanced at the place before exiting through the main door.

Then he came outside and my gaze fell on the flying cars parked outside. The drivers were there as well. Upon seeing them, he decided to take a ride in a flying car.

He started walking up to them. The drivers, who were chatting among themselves, noticed someone coming towards them.

When they saw it was Jeremy Night, they were surprised. Because they recognised the young man who had recently joined the organisation.

"Young man, what do you want?" one of them asked.

Hearing that, he told them he wanted to go around the city. The drivers all looked at each other’s faces.

The person who asked the question realised that Jeremy might have something to buy.

"Okay, I’ll take you around the city," the middle-aged driver said.

Hearing that, he thanked him before entering his vehicle. The driver then bid goodbye to his friends before sitting in the driver’s seat.

Swoosh!

Then the driver started the car. The flying car rose from the ground and hovered in mid-air. The car then moved forward before leaving the area.

Meanwhile,

The staff in the lobby noticed Jeremy Night’s departure. They were surprised because they hadn’t seen him since the beast invasion.

Now, seeing him leave early in the morning intrigued them. What Jeremy Night didn’t know was that during his absence, his fame had shot high.

Especially in the Shadow Moon Organisation. Everyone knew about his terrific combat strength. They had witnessed it personally.

How Jeremy Night had cut down the Tier-4 Flying Ants like weeds? It was one of the main topics of discussion for the past few days.

What’s more? Nobody knew about Jeremy Night’s lifeline beast. None had seen it during the beast invasion. It was another point of discussion.

Meanwhile,

The flying car entered the main part of the city. In mid-air, the car was moving slowly. Jeremy was watching the scenes through the window.

The driver was taken aback. He had thought the young man had something to buy. But he was just sightseeing.

He wondered what the young man had been doing these days.

At the same time, Jeremy was looking at the badly damaged places during the beast invasion. They were now completely rebuilt. The place looked brand new.

Then he told the driver to go to other badly affected areas. The driver nodded before resuming the drive.

The 10th Team Leader Gisela came to know about Jeremy Night’s return. Because she got the notification when Jeremy used his ID to enter the building.

"He is back," she said to herself.

She knew during Jeremy Night’s absence, everyone was talking about him. They wanted to know the reason behind his combat strength.

Since Jeremy Night was back, she feared that people might challenge him. Especially Beast Tamers from other organisations, who might want to gain fame by defeating Jeremy Night.

Though the media didn’t know about Jeremy Night’s fight, there were spies who could share the information with other organisations.

She feared that the Sun Wheel Organisation would start taking Jeremy Night seriously. Earlier, they had only noticed him because of his potential.

Before the Beast Invasion, they hadn’t taken him seriously, except for some minor incidents here and there.

She decided to inform Jeremy Night later.

As time passed, the 3rd Squad members woke up one after another. They came to the lobby to talk to each other, then to take a walk outside.

Sinag and Ada were the first ones to meet. They started chatting and laughing. While they were doing so, the staff members noticed them as well.

One of them went towards them and told them about Jeremy Night’s return. Hearing that Jeremy was back,

Sinag raised her eyebrows in surprise. Ada was shocked as well.

"He is back. If he knows what’s going on here, then he would be shocked," Ada said with a smile.

Sinag said, "Everyone knows about him at this point. He can even directly join the 2nd Squad."

"Ha... Ha... Ha..."

"The 2nd Squad is already terrified of him," Ada said with a laugh.

Then they chatted with the female staff for a few minutes before leaving the building to take a walk.

As time passed, the other members of the 3rd Squad came to know about Jeremy Night’s return.

Including the members Fredric, Albert George, and Cedric. They were surprised, but that’s all.

The female members Florence Amelia and Ruby heard about Jeremy Night as well. Apart from being surprised, they were looking forward to the drama.

They knew that the whole organisation had been talking about Jeremy Night for the past few days. The three girls even asked their Captain, Sinag and Ada, about Jeremy Night’s lifeline beast.

But they refused to talk about it. The girls thought that sooner or later, things would come to light.

Not long after, the news reached the ears of Head Neil as well. Head Neil furrowed his eyebrows. Compared to Leader Gisela and others, he had been following the news of Jeremy Night closely.

He knew what had happened in the 14th Zone through one of his connections in the Human Alliance. He was shocked to know that unknown changes were happening in the wilderness there.

He wanted to help Jeremy Night. But their hands were tied as well. The threat of the Colossal Beasts was not over yet.

It would take months before confirming true peace. Until then, he decided to wait and watch. If the 14th Zone truly needed help, then he would help them.

Jeremy Night returned to the organisation after taking a tour around the city. He walked back into the building. This time he saw that there were more people.

He didn’t stop there and directly went back to his room. After arriving, he locked the door. Then he spent a few minutes lying on the sofa.

During that trip, he found out that the city was on its feet. But he thought it would take some time for the Beast Tamers to enter the wilderness.

A few minutes later,

He changed his clothes and entered the training room to practise. He was going to practise the new sword move.

When he arrived at the centre of the fighting platform, the unknown beast egg inside the mental zone moved.

He realised that he hadn’t practised yet. So he sat cross-legged on the ground and closed his eyes. Then he started practising the breathing method.

As time passed, the unknown beast egg started to absorb the natural energy from the surroundings.

The natural energy entered the body as he practised the inner healing method. He didn’t know when, but he started to feel a cooling sensation in his body.

The hidden injuries left in the body were healing. He was surprised. He had thought his injuries were all healed. But it appeared some were still left in the body.

All the teams and their squads came to know about Jeremy Night’s return. There were more people who wanted to meet him.

Especially the 3rd Squad members of other teams.
