STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer
Chapter 515: Unexpected disaster!
CHAPTER 515: UNEXPECTED DISASTER!
Wilderness (10th Zone)
Roar!
The Tier-4 Hybrid beasts let out a fierce roar. They turned towards Jeremy Night and found him as the immediate danger. They are charging towards him to eliminate the threat.
Swoosh!
They look menacing with their bloodshot eyes. If it were lower tier beast tamers, they would have bit them into pieces.
Now, Jeremy Night killed their Tier-3 members. All the Tier-4 Hybrid beasts are charging towards Jeremy Night.
Puchak!
Jeremy remained unfazed. He continues to cut down the beast coming across his path.
Time goes by,
The trio effortlessly dealt with the hybrid beasts group here. The Green Butterfly and the Black Bear were exhausted.
But they didn’t suffer any injuries. It’s because of Jeremy Night, they didn’t have to face Tier-4 Hybrid beasts. Otherwise, they could be wounded.
Sinag and Ada took back their Lifeline beast into their mental zone. They were tired out as well. They didn’t have much experience of facing this many beasts before.
"Jeremy thanks again," Sinag said in a serious tone.
"Yeah, if not for you we would have suffered," Ada added.
Both of them discussed earlier to fight against all the hybrid beasts. But the situation here forced Jeremy Night to take most of the action.
"It’s okay, let’s go back. If we come across any other groups we can eliminate them," Jeremy Night uttered.
A quick gleam appeared in his eyes.
He thinks that it’s one of the groups they encountered. He fears that there could be a much stronger group somewhere else.
The trio then started walking back. They had to go through the dense cover of forest again. Once they walk out of the place, they will see the flat land.
Time goes by,
Jeremy is using eye ability to stay vigilant. The two girls are leading forward. But they didn’t know Jeremy Night is using eye ability right now.
Roar!
All of a sudden. A terrific roaring sounded across the forests. It doesn’t sound like the sound of low tier beasts.
"What’s this sound?" Ada blurted out in a surprise.
"Could it be a Tier -5 Beast?" Sinag uttered.
Jeremy’s eyes glinted with seriousness. He had faced Tier-5 beasts before. So he knew this was not the sound of the Tier-5 beasts but much more terrifying than that.
"This place is not safe. We should head back," Jeremy said.
Hearing that Sinag and Ada agreed. They dropped the matter of the hybrid beasts and started going back.
Meanwhile,
A 15ft Tier-6 Tree Ape from the core area has come to the inner area. The condition of the Tree Ape was not good. It has suffered serious injuries all over its body.
It urgently needs a place to recuperate. At the same time, the other beasts living in the inner area are fleeing from the spot.
Especially, the Tier-5 and Tier-4 Beasts are running away from the place. They are spreading to other inner areas. This situation is quite dangerous.
Not very often, the core area beast comes to the inner area to hide. But it happened now.
The situation has become dangerous for not only low tier beasts. But for Beast Tamers as well. If the Beast Tamers find themselves crossing roads with the Tier-4 and Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts.
Then casualty could happen.
On the other hand, Jeremy is leading the group back. He doesn’t want to waste time. Sinag and Ada trusted Jeremy Night. So they started following him from behind.
They have finally entered completely flat land. Their movement speed was better than before. They are hoping to get out of the inner area as soon as possible.
But things didn’t go as planned. Jeremy quickly spotted the many beasts running in their direction. He could discern whether it’s a Tier-3 or Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.
But the number of Corrupted beasts coming in their direction are large in numbers. Jeremy felt the sense of crisis. If he tells them they would be scared.
He doesn’t know what to do right now. He paused his footsteps. If he continues to run with others, then they would definitely cross paths with this horde.
"Jeremy, what happened?" Sinag asked.
They could tell something was wrong.
Jeremy looks at them. He doesn’t know what to do next. He then casually looks around. Then he spotted a lone mountain rock with dangerous slopes. But his gaze fell at the bottom.
There is a cave opening at the bottom. The mouth of the cave is almost at the height of the tree. That’s why he was able to spot from this distance.
"Follow me!"
Jeremy said to them.
Sinag and Ada started following him. As they are approaching the lone massive rock. They could feel the tremor in the ground.
Sinag and Ada’s expressions change drastically. They both turned around and saw a large number of beast hordes coming in their direction.
Their expression turned pale with fright. They understood now. Jeremy Night is leading them towards the cave opening.
Jeremy saw the approaching horde. But they are closer to the mountain rock. Three of them increased their speed.
Swoosh!
They quickly arrived at the base of the mountain rock. Jeremy uses his eye ability to observe the place. He didn’t see anything dangerous.
"Green Butterflies can help," Sinag said.
"We don’t have time for that. Let’s go inside," Jeremy said.
Then three of them walked into the cave. Jeremy unsheathed the blade and started using it to remove the overgrown weeds.
Sinag and Ada are observing the place.
While doing that Jeremy finds another small cave opening inside the cave. He quickly tells Sinag and Ada. Three of them entered the small space to hide.
They blocked the small entrance with the small rocks.
At the same time, the beast horde running away from the Tier-6 Tree Ape reaches the place. Most of the beasts continued running bypassing the cave structure.
Only a few beasts which are injured and low tier choose to enter the cave. They entered the cave one after another.
Jeremy Night, Sinag and Ada felt the tremor. Their expressions were grave. They don’t know whether Tier-5 Beasts have entered the place.
