Wilderness:

The Wind Leopard enraged. It didn't expect to suffer an injury on the shoulder. Before it could think of the next thing. The human tried to attack him again.

Swoosh!

The wind leopard retreated the next second. Then it stopped and looked at the humans.

By using the opportunity, Jeremy is dashing out while slashing at the beast.

The starlight filled rust blade once again reaches the target. This time the wind leopard was paying attention. It's easily shifted.

Boom!

The blade missed the target. Jeremy is using his eye ability. He sees the beast's leg was actually injured. Yet it was able to evade his attack.

"This Tier-5 Beast was not ordinary," he thought.

Sinag and Ada stepped out as well. They stood behind Jeremy Night. They have dreadful feelings. They have never seen such a big Tier-5 beast before.

The canine teeth of the big leopard can easily take their life. Just one bit was needed.

Jeremy notices them. He said,"Stay behind. Don't bring your Lifeline beast outside."

He knows that Green Butterfly and Black Bear will be injured easily.

Roar!

The Wind Leopard roars at them. This time a fierce wind attack shot from its mouth. The wind attack contains invisible blades.

Boom!

The trio are in their clothes. They are not wearing any armour suit. It's deadly to face the wind directly.

"Evade!"

Jeremy shouted. Three of them moved to the edge of the cave. The wind attack strikes the ground.

Boom!

A loud sound occured. The dust and smoke covered the place.

Jeremy Night felt the seriousness. He sheathed his blade and took his hand gun. Before the dust could go, he covered the bullets with the starlight energy.

Since the beast was already injured. The only way he could force the beast to leave was to harm its legs again.

He uses his eye ability to aim. He didn't wait for the dust to settle. He could see with his powerful eye sight.

He aims at the Beast's hind legs. Then he pulls the trigger one after another.

Bang!

The shooting occurs. The starlight bullets are fired at its legs. The bullet goes through the target in a shot. The starlight power easily left the hole in its leg.

Roar!

The Wind Leopard let out a painful roar. It didn't expect to suffer the leg injury again. This time the human attacked it from a distance.

The beast realises the weakness. Before it could attack.

Bang! Bang!

The fire shots rang continuously. In quick succession, the front legs were shot. Blood is gushing from the wound.

Pfff!

The Wind Leopard finally felt the fear. The Tier-5 Beast decided to give up. The next second, it fled from the cave.

The Wind Leopard was intelligent. Earlier, it was confident to take down the humans. But the human with long range ability caught it off guard.

Now, all of the legs were injured. It needs to find a place to recuperate again.

The dust settled. Jeremy puts back the gun in the case. He checks out the place again. Seeing that there was no threat. He sighed in relief.

"Phew!"

Sinag and Ada heaved a sigh of relief as well. They were worried that Wind Leopard would fight with them to death.

When they saw the wind attack marks on the ground.

Gasp!

Both of them sucked cold breath of air. Multiple one inch deep cuts were seen on the ground. If the attack were to land on their body, they would have been shredded into pieces.

Jeremy notices the cuts on the ground. His eyes flashed with seriousness.

"The corrupted beasts with abilities are terrifying," He said to them.

"You don't have idea. Once upon a time there are many corrupted beasts with abilities. Because of their threats, the beast taming forces took the decision to eradicate them."

"What you see are the remnants," Sinag said in a serious tone.

"If the beasts have the ability to attack our city, then we would have less of a chance to win," Ada said from the side.

"Fortunately, they were cleared out a long time ago. This Wind Leopard was a rare sight," She added.

"Let's wait here till the sunrise. We will leave early in the morning," Jeremy said to them.

Sinag and Ada agreed. None of them want to run into other terrifying beasts.

They stay inside the cave structure.

Time goes by,

The next morning comes. The trio left the cave structure and started their return journey to the city.

On the way, they have kept their eyes on the surroundings. One thing is to watch out for the corrupted beasts.

Another thing is to look for beast taming teams. The beast horde appeared all of a sudden yesterday. The Beast Taming Teams could have found themselves in trouble.

If they need rescue, then they have to help them. But so far they saw no one on their path. They continued to walk on their feet.

Jeremy is using eye ability to cover a large distance. He is getting more information about the terrain than others.

He doesn't know the reason behind the beast horde. He thinks they will know after getting back to the city.

Several hours later,

They returned to the main path to the city. They are in the Outer Area right now. Soon they will reach the city.

On the way, they saw a few teams in bruised state returning as well. They must have encountered some trouble. Only the trio are looking better.

Which attracted the attention of the Beast Tamers as well. Their hostility reduced upon seeing their red moon badge.

They don't dare to offend forces of their level. None of the teams spoke to each other. Soon, they started to see the outline of the city wall.

About 20 minutes later,

They took a cab to reach the organisation back. The trio were totally exhausted. If not for Jeremy Night's quick thinking and shooting ability, they wouldn't have returned in one piece.

Upon entering the building, they parted ways. They decided to submit the mission report later. Everyone needs a good sleep right now.
