CHAPTER 544: BROKEN SWORD PENDANT!

The flying car came to the busy public square. Both of them exited and started observing the place. Jeremy sees that the city is filled with busy people. He sees hawkers and vendors.

What more? Jeremy is taken aback by surprise. The strength of these people were at least Tier-3.

"The public square is one of the famous spots here," Nico said from the side.

Then he started leading him to the different shops. Jeremy is still heightened his vigilance. After going around multiple shops, they came to the small market.

The small market is known for selling beast related items. Though the items belong to the lower tier beasts. Jeremy is not interested in this items

But the person leading him was different. He noticed Nico is Tier-2 Beast Tamer as well. He had brought him here to find some good items.

"If there is any interesting item, you can tell me. I will bargain for you,"Nico said.

Jeremy nodded to him. Then he saw that Nico was looking for items to buy as well. So he started paying attention to the items on the stalls.

It didn’t take long for them to find the next stall. Where the stall is known for selling burial items. They dug up items belonging to the era before the mutation.

If the antiques are good, then there are people who always buy such items for decoration.

Nico went inside and started chatting enthusiastically with the shop owner. Jeremy looks at them before starting viewing the items by himself.

Then he came to the antique jewel section. His eyes sweep over the items. Just his gaze passes over a certain pendant.

He felt something. It was a fleeting moment. But he caught the moment with his sharp senses. His senses never went wrong.

Then he casually looks at the pendant. A sharp glint flashes in his eyes. Because the pendant was a half broken black sword pendant. It was covered in mud.

The sword symbol had faded. If not for his eye sight, he wouldn’t have noticed it. His heart is stirred right now.

The sword symbol reminds of his own sword skill.

"Is there any technique hidden in it?" Jeremy thought.

He quickly decided to buy it. He doesn’t plan to show his desire. He casually picked four pendants together and went to the shop owner.

Nico, who is speaking to the shop owner, saw this. He was surprised.

"Ha...Ha...Ha..., brother. I knew it. Our public square is known for having good items.

"How could it miss your eyes?" Nico said with a joyful laugh.

Jeremy showed the items to Nico. But he showed no reaction on his face.

Nico received the four pendants. These four pendants are ordinary pendants. But it can be worn after some restoration work.

"Shop owner, I want to buy it. Give me the best price," Nico asked.

The middle aged shop owner smiled. He received the items and began to observe them. The four pendants are old items covered in mud.

He didn’t do good work to clean this pendant. He felt embarrassed. Then he saw Nick’s enthusiastic face. For an old customer, he decided to give it for free.

"Since you are a friend of our old customer Nico. You can take it for free," The shop owner said.

Jeremy was stunned. He didn’t expect to gain such a thing for free. Then he didn’t stand the ceremony. He thanked both of them.

Then he got the item and collected it into his storage ring. He decided to experiment with the item later.

Then they spent a few more minutes in the same shop. He didn’t find anything else. Then the duo left the shop after thanking the shop keeper.

They decided to explore a few other places. Jeremy Night’s eyes flashed with expectations. He casually strolled around the staff and came across the sword pendant.

He doesn’t know whether he could stumble across such a treasure item again. Next, they went to another spot.

An hour later,

The duo returns to the mansion. After the public square, Nico showed him 2 more places. It’s a market for luxurious people. You need some wealth to buy anything in that street.

More than that he didn’t come across other treasure items. Jeremy Night was not interested in luxurious items either. So he decided to return. After returning to the mansion, they both parted ways.

Nico was happy. He did make a good impression. He thinks cousin Lucas would be happy. So he happily made his way back towards his home.

At this time, Jeremy Night returned to his room. He closed the door and went to his bedroom. Sitting on the bed, he took out the four pendants to examine.

Apart from the broken back sword pendant. The other items are ordinary. After examining them, he put them back inside the storage ring.

His gaze then fell on the sword pendant. His eyes flashed with a glint. He fears that black sword pendant could cause a phenomenon. He doesn’t want to take risks here.

He was not 100% pure sure. The function of the Black pendant is unclear yet.

If the others found out about it, he won’t have a good time. He then made a decision. It’s not safe here. If he gets an opportunity in the wilderness in the coming days, then he will examine the item.

After making the decision, he collected the sword pendant into his storage ring. Then he went to take a bath.

Matteo Rossi got the reports from his son Lucas. Apparently, one of the family children went as a guide for Jeremy Night.

Both of them were talkative. He learnt they went to the public square to explore. Matteo Rossi was impressed. He asked his son to reward the young man named Nico.
