CHAPTER 552: ELDER MATTEO WAS INJURED!

The higher tier beasts are equal to the towering building. Most importantly, in front of the Colossal Beasts, the size of humans are like ants.

Then he took a few for himself and his Lifeline beasts.

He then immediately sat down there to heal his injuries.

In the evening, Lucas Rossi comes to the Mansion in a hurry. The butler told him the news. He couldn’t believe his father was injured.

He immediately thought of the higher tier beasts. But he doesn’t know which one is Tier-7 or Tier-8. Lucas’ eyes turned red.

He waited outside the study room.

At the same time, Jeremy left his room after getting ready. Butler told him that Elder Matteo wanted to meet him. But he doesn’t know whether the Elder has come or not.

But whenever he walked past the servants. Their faces are grim. They were afraid to speak up. He then comes to the lobby and sees the Butler.

"Mister, Jeremy. The master has returned. But his condition is bad. You can talk to the young master. He is outside the study room," Butler said.

Hearing Jeremy was shocked. He knew the power of the Elder Matteo. He is someone similar to Head Neil Moon. He could be a Tier-8 Beast Tamer.

How could someone like him be hurt? His heart was in turmoil. Next, he goes to meet Lucas Rossi. He arrived at the study room and saw the blonde haired middle aged man.

"Mister Lucas," Jeremy greeted.

Hearing that Lucas raised his head and saw Jeremy Night coming. His tense brow slightly relaxed.

"I heard from Nico that you taught a lesson to the Croft Family Guards. You didn’t have to do it. But thanks for intervening," Lucas said with a smile.

"One more thing, you can call me Brother Lucas," he added.

"Okay. Brother Lucas," Jeremy replied.

He doesn’t care about the Croft Family right now. He wanted to know the well-being of the elderly.

"Brother Lucas, what happened?" Jeremy asked. He could see brother Lucas frowning. Something is bothering him.

"Sigh!"

"My father is injured right now. It foreshadows possible beast Invasion," Lucas said.

Jeremy’s heart stirred again. He was right in his guess again. When Head Neil Moon sent him here. He didn’t think much about it.

Right now, I’m starting to feel a life or death crisis.

Lucas notices Jeremy’s expression.

He said,"Don’t worry, it’s just a higher tier beast. We don’t have those Colassal’s here."

"I wonder how you guys are living in the 10th Zone," he added.

Hearing that Jeremy’s mood got better. The city won’t be facing existential threat here. So most of the people are safe.

"Thank you. Brother," Jeremy replied.

"Ha...Ha...Ha..., it’s okay. If I’m not wrong father must be using the healing treasures. So you don’t worry about him," Lucas said.

Jeremy understood. Then both of them started waiting here.

A 2 hours later,

The door opens. "Both of you come inside," A weak voice sounded.

Hearing that Lucas rushed in first. Then Jeremy stepped inside. His heart was racing. He didn’t know how bad the injury was.

Then walked up to the end of the study room and saw Elder Matteo seated inside the stone chamber cross legged.

Jeremy catches a clue with his eyesight. Elder Matteo’s complexion looks better. There didn’t seem to be a life or death situation.

Lucas sighed in relief as well.

"Father," Lucas called out.

Elder Matteo opened his eyes. A weak smile appeared on his face. His gaze fell on both Lucas and Jeremy.

He said,"This time we were careless and fell into the trap of higher tier purple gem snake beasts."

"Purple Gem Snake," Lucas’ expression changes.

As a Tier-5 Beast Tamer he knows the power of the Purple Gem Snake. Their population is high. The city administration tried many times to eliminate them.

But because of the higher tier beasts they failed every time.

Jeremy is digesting the shocking information. He knew the horror of the higher tier beasts. He had escaped luckily from the clutches of the sky bird sometime ago.

Matteo then said,"The Purple Gem Snake population grows in astonishing numbers. They are hunting Beast Tamers for food."

"We found out the truth. It won’t be long before we can expect a direct attack. It may be one or two days,"he added.
