CHAPTER 559: PART 1: PURPLE GEM SNAKE INVASION

9th Zone-B City:

Jeremy Night went back to the mansion. These days, he has been coming alone without Nico Rossi.

The children from the other families didn’t cause any problems for him, so he had been having a peaceful time.

The Purple Gem Snakes were preparing to go out. They couldn’t live without food anymore. If this hunger continues, they might eat each other.

The higher-tier beasts made a decision. They were more fearful of the oldest Tier-8 Corrupted Beast. They didn’t want to become food for the Tier-8 Purple Gem Snake.

Currently, the Tier-8 Purple Gem Snake was in a deep sleep. Unless it woke up on its own, no one dared to disturb its sleep.

The Tier-7 Purple Gem Snakes decided to attack the city. At least they could catch the human Beast Tamers patrolling outside the city.

That night, a large number of Tier-5 and Tier-6 Purple Gem Snakes reached the city. The snakes surrounded the city in a short period of time.

City B was usually covered in dark clouds, and the forest appeared to be covered in a dark canopy.

In the blink of an eye, more than five guards were attacked at the same time and dragged into the forest. The Tier-6 Purple Gem Snakes were watching the scene from behind.

They wanted to snatch the food, but behind them, the Tier-7 Purple Gem Snakes had already given the command. The Tier-5 Purple Gem Snakes quickly dragged the corpses towards them.

The Tier-6 snakes were watching out for the enemy while the Tier-7 snakes enjoyed the food.

"It’s the Purple Gem Snake," the Captain uttered.

The next second, he turned on the alarm function.

A loud emergency alarm started ringing. All the patrolling units immediately got alerted. Everyone rushed to defend the city walls.

Above the captains, there were various Heads. They were Tier-6 Beast Tamers. In the blink of an eye, these various Heads flew over the city wall.

The Tier-7 Purple Gem Snake realized that the humans were alerted. It immediately ordered the Tier-6 Snakes to attack. Before the Tier-6 Snakes, the human Beast Tamers were fragile.

The Tier-7 snakes could take care of the Human Tier-8 Beast Tamers. Their poison alone was enough to kill them.

In the blink of an eye, a fierce fight started. Different types of Lifeline Beasts were bombarding the purple snakes with elemental attacks.

A Tier-6 Eagle Sky Bird grabbed a Tier-6 Snake and shot towards the sky. It was the Lifeline Beast of one of the Heads.

The Purple Gem Snake was struggling, but it had met its nemesis. It couldn’t free itself from the sharp claws.

The sharp claws had a firm grip over the snake’s body, so much so that the snake scales were cracking under pressure.

In a flash, it flew over to the forest. Before it could continue, the Eagle Sky Bird faced a sense of crisis. It immediately freed its claws and dropped the snake beast from the sky.

It fled from the spot the next second. The Tier-6 Snake was about to land heavily on the ground when a huge mouth appeared all of a sudden and swallowed it.

It was the mouth of the Tier-7 Snake, which had just finished its human meal.

On the other hand, the Eagle Sky Bird went back to its Beast Tamer. She was an old woman and also one of the Heads. Her ability was related to eyesight.

More than that, she could use the eyesight of the Eagle Sky Bird. She saw Tier-7 Snakes lurking in the shadows. One of them was right below the Eagle Sky Bird earlier.

She made the decision to drop the snake and rescue her Lifeline Beast.
