CHAPTER 574: VINE BEAST STRIKES!

Blood Steel Mosquitoes were attacking the city walls. Among them, Tier-6 Beasts had appeared. They flew over the city walls to enter the city.

However, they were all blocked by the City Governors and the Head of the Beast Taming Forces.

Bolton noticed Jeremy Night and said, "Kid, you can relax. You cannot take down a Tier-5 beast at close quarters. Just one collision is needed to end your life."

"Just wait inside the admin building," he added.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night raised his eyebrows. He could see Tier-5 and Tier-6 Beasts in the sky. To be honest, it was like walking on a knife’s edge. One mistake could cost him his life.

He nodded his head and walked back into the admin building. He walked up to the sofa and sat on it.

Commander Bolton saw this. His eyes flashed with approval. He didn’t want such a young prospect to die. He had witnessed Jeremy Night cross-killing beasts above his tier.

The Human Alliance needed such a prodigy. Bolton turned towards the beasts in the sky. He then disappeared from the spot and arrived on top of the city wall.

He got close to the watchtower and started releasing arrows from there.

One after another, the black arrows released from his bow struck the eyes of the Blood Steel Mosquitoes.

Meanwhile, the Blood Steel Mosquitoes were attacking without any reservations. The Tier-5 and Tier-6 Beasts were giving them a tough time.

It was hard for the City Guards to continue defending the city. A Tier-5 Blood Steel Mosquito had successfully killed a few City Guard Captains.

Their blood was completely sucked out by the beasts. Their dried corpses were still lying on the ground.

But the real threat was yet to come.

Just as the City Governors and the Head of the Beast Taming Forces were busy dealing with the incoming Tier-6 Blood Steel Mosquitoes, long vines shot out from the forests, one after another.

The vines’ speed was incredibly fast. The tips struck the city wall.

The Beast Tamers standing at the watchtower were hurled into the air before falling to the ground. It happened so fast that everyone only heard the screams.

Governor Black saw the vine beasts. His expression changed drastically. He immediately flew over to the spot and blocked the vine beast.

At that moment, many vine beasts shot from the forest. In the blink of an eye, their bodies reached the city walls.

Governor Carl brought his lifeline beast outside. Upon appearance, the crocodile shot out an air vortex at the incoming beast.

The air vortex struck the vine beast. The long vine was blasted away from the city wall. When everyone saw this, their expressions changed.

Not only had the Blood Steel Mosquitoes come out, but the Vine Beasts were attacking them now, too. It was a full-scale war.

Governor Chloe used her Snow Tail Sparrow to freeze the Blood Steel Mosquitoes. Because of the vine beasts, the pressure on her increased.

The beast tamers with flying-type lifeline beasts were dealing with the Blood Steel Mosquitoes, but now they had to be careful of the vine beasts as well.

As time went by, a few of the vine beasts and Blood Steel Mosquitoes escaped the net and reached the people on the ground.

Most of the locals were hiding, but there was still a considerable presence at the makeshift hospitals.

A Tier-6 Blood Steel Mosquito collided with a makeshift hospital, bringing the structure down.

Survivors started fleeing, but their bodies were struck by the mosquito. They turned into a mist of blood the next second.

The mosquito then sucked up the blood. In the blink of an eye, it targeted another human beast tamer.

This scene sent cold shivers down everyone’s spines. The City Guards on the ground were Tier-3 Beast Tamers. They were no match for the Tier-6 Blood Steel Mosquito.

In the blink of an eye, a massive ice cube appeared in front of everyone. Then, someone struck the ice cube, and it broke into several pieces.

But the damage was already done. The road was dyed blood-red.

The beast tamers on the walls were struggling hard. They were captain and commander-level figures, yet they were facing a tough time.

He wanted to go outside to help, but his rational mind stopped him from doing so. He then thought of something.

At this time, no one was inside the admin building. He then walked up to the inventory.
