Jason could hear Ragnar’s roar from all the way on the other side of the battlefield, and he grinned as he sent a single command to Ragnar.
’Kill them all.’
Ragnar didn’t need to be told anything more than that as he charged down and opened his mouth towards the monsters on the ground! A bright yellow light shone from within Ragnar’s dark mouth, and the light seemed to squeeze in on itself like a deflating balloon as the pressure in the region began to soar to immeasurable levels! The monsters on the ground all seemed to realize at the same time that they were in serious trouble once they felt that pressure, but there was nothing any of them could do! A sudden sonic wave spread out from just in front of Ragnar’s mouth before Ragnar unleashed his attack!
KA-TOOM!!
It sounded more like an underwater missile than a blast of dragonfire, but the destruction it created was undeniable! The dragonbreath struck the ground like a fucking nuclear bomb! The ground right beneath Ragnar was immediately boiled into lava! The rocks and sand bubbled and began to solidify into glass, and the heatwave spread out across the land as it scorched everything in its path without mercy! Jason looked on using [Eye of the King], and he felt a low laugh rising from his chest when he saw the sheer destruction caused by Ragnar’s new attack!
What the fuck even is that!? Ragnar had already been strong before the upgrade, but now he was literally a flying force of nature!
——
The user has killed [205] Undead Minions
+41,000 Kill Points
——
’He killed two hundred with one attack? How much mana did that attack take from him?’
Jason glanced towards Ragnar’s system, and he saw that the dragonbreath had taken close to three thousand mana points to activate! Holy shit! Jason knew he shouldn’t be surprised by that number since it was one of the most destructive attacks he had ever seen, but that doesn’t mean he liked it! Ragnar had already used up close to ten thousand Mana Points before the upgrade, so now Ragnar had just under ten thousand mana points left! If Ragnar kept going like this, then he would run out of mana too quickly, but as long as Ragnar didn’t go all out with his flaming breaths, Jason was sure that Ragnar could manage the mana he had. Jason decided to call on Ragnar to come and take care of the Giants so they wouldn’t join the battle against the undead minions.
’Ragnar. Come to my location now!’
Jason sent out a message and he guided Raya to swerve out of the way as another large sword almost tore them in half!
...
’What is happening out there? Who is this man?’
The Lich was starting to get annoyed. He had been watching the fight happening since the beginning and at first thought that Jason was just another high-level summoner who could call on a lot of beasts to aid him in battle, but the longer things stretched out, the more he realized that he was very wrong! None of the summoners that the Lich had ever met were capable of doing the things that this man had done! Not only did the man know how to use elemental magic to attack, but he was also capable of bringing his subordinates back to life after they were killed.
The Lich had seen the Skyking getting killed, and he was surprised when he saw the same monster coming back to life only a few seconds later. It was obvious that there was a lot more to this man than what met the eye, and the Lich finally decided that it was time for him to get involved. The Lich shut his journal and put it beside the head of the unconscious Ruen in his cave before he turned around with a flourish to begin heading out of the cave, but before he could go far, he was surprised to see a large white Falcon flying just outside the cave entrance. The Falcon was looking at him with an intelligence that you would normally never see in an animal of this level, and the Lich felt annoyance fill him as he raised his hand and unleashed a blast of black fire to scare the bird away.
BOOM!
The Falcon cried out as it was pushed back by the heat, but the Lich was even more shocked when he saw many other Falcons that were all perched on different branches and rocky platforms around the cave entrance! They were all watching him with the same intelligent eyes, and they were letting out occasional cries while flapping their wings. The Lich felt annoyance filling his heart as he looked over all the Falcons while wondering what the hell they were doing here, but on the other side of the world, Jason Marc grinned as he finally got the Lich’s location.
"Found you, fucker."

[The City of New Jersey]
Honk! Honk! Honk!
"Move the fuck out of the way, you bastard! You’re blocking traffic!"
"Hey, what are you still doing at the toll gate! Get off! You know how many people are behind you!?"
Honk! Honk! Honk!
"Get out of my way!"
"Move faster!"
The sound of car horns echoed through the full length of the Washington Bridge as hundreds of people tried to cross over from New Jersey into Manhattan! There had been an announcement thirty minutes ago asking all the people living in the central area of New Jersey to vacate towards the edge of the city in preparation for a potential Yellow Gate appearance! The civilians had been confused at first when they heard that there was going to be a Yellow Gate appearing! This was the first time that they would ever get an announcement before a Gate appeared, and they wondered if it was some sort of prank that was being played on them, but there were others who didn’t see it as a prank and immediately began to evacuate. And once the reluctant ones saw that the others were taking it seriously, they also began to move!
Right now, almost every street, bridge and tunnel in the city was packed with people who were trying to get out from central New Jersey! Those who were staying on the edge of the city were also trying to get further away, but the amount of traffic being generated by the central area was stopping anyone from going anywhere!
In the SMD branch in New Jersey, agents could be seen moving around with files and documents while some of the higher-ranking members of the SMD were on phone calls trying to get to the bottom of the situation! This was the first time that anything like this would be happening in the city! Hearing about a Gate before it appeared was considered impossible, and the only reason why anyone was taking it seriously at all was because of who had given them the warning in the first place!
In an office on the top floor of the SMD building in New Jersey, three executives were seated around a large table as they discussed the situation!
"You better be right about this, Liam! Putting out that evacuation warning could cost us millions if the Gate doesn’t appear!"
The person who spoke was a woman wearing a well-fitted black trouser-suit. She had a beautiful face and a good figure, but she had an uptight personality, and her face was always set into a hard frown that was enough to drive anyone away from her. Her name was Florence, and she was the Head of Superhuman Correspondence in New Jersey.
