CHAPTER 1548: CHAPTER 1600: THREE WOMEN IN THE NIGHT
Li Yifei shook his head helplessly and replied, "Alright, your husband now orders you to get into bed immediately, otherwise I won’t let you have children. If your health isn’t good, the child won’t be healthy either."
"No way, all the sisters at home just got health check-ups, and everyone is doing well. I’m in great health, very strong," Chu Xiaoyao replied.
The second message came quickly, saying, "But I still have to listen to you, husband. I’m getting into bed now."
"Not going to wash up? How about your feet?"
"Already washed; I did it a long time ago," Chu Xiaoyao replied. "If you don’t believe me, come smell, they’re fragrant."
The delicate and adorable Chu Xiaoyao, Li Yifei even remembered every inch of her body, especially her two tender white feet. His heart fluttered hearing this, but he quickly restrained his emotions and replied, "Close your eyes obediently, think about your husband, and don’t stay up so late again, or I’ll spank you when I get back."
Chu Xiaoyao quickly replied, "Stupid husband, if I close my eyes and think of you, I really won’t be able to sleep. Don’t you know that people who stay up late get more easily aroused?"
Li Yifei’s mouth moved slightly, feeling a bit speechless. He thought for a moment and said, "Good baby, I’ll find a way to get rid of the Worms in my body as soon as I return, so you’ll be absolutely satisfied then."
"Hehe, just thinking about it excites me. But don’t worry, husband, I can handle it," Chu Xiaoyao replied.
Li Yifei felt a bit unsure how to respond. Whenever this topic came up, he felt guilty. Although it wasn’t the most crucial matter, maintaining family harmony in a marriage was indispensable, especially when there were so many beautiful women at home...
Worms, oh Worms, you’re truly a disaster in my life! Li Yifei patted his thigh as his phone vibrated. Chu Xiaoyao sent another message, leaving Li Yifei speechless as he read, "Husband, I’ll tell you a secret. Don’t tell anyone, but the other day I was at Sister Lin Qiong’s and found a toy we bought for her under her pillow, along with a load of batteries..."
Lin Qiong... she would definitely do that! Li Yifei instantly recalled the scene from the beginning when he was forcibly conquered by Lin Qiong, and just thinking about it made him a bit excited himself.
Fortunately, the Worms weren’t too strong now; they hadn’t seemed to recover completely, so Li Yifei only felt a faint heartache, nothing severe.
"And oh, it seems Sister Yunzhu also used it. One day, I smelled that kind of scent on her, and it was on her fingers too. I intentionally held her hand, and Sister Yunzhu quickly withdrew her hand and went to the bathroom to wash it."
Gosh! Li Yifei leaned back, silently chuckling with a touch of embarrassment on his face. Buying them was one thing, but the women at home truly using them made Li Yifei feel a bit strange. Was it because he was useless that they had to rely on such things?
But Li Yifei soon adjusted. He absolutely did not believe the Worms would control him for life, so he would work hard to find a solution.
"Husband, are you asleep?"
Chu Xiaoyao sent another message rapidly, and Li Yifei contemplated before replying, "I’ve been wondering if Xiaoyao uses those things?"
Chu Xiaoyao sent a shy emoji, waited a few seconds, and followed up with, "Naughty uncle, I don’t! Even though I’ve thought about it, I feel that only you, my husband, can touch me there, not even a fake thing."
Feeling warm at the chest, Li Yifei sensed Chu Xiaoyao’s deep affection. He sniffled, momentarily at a loss on how to reply to her, as this little girl used her own way to comfort him.
"Give me a kiss, husband. As soon as I lay down, I feel my eyelids can’t stay open," Chu Xiaoyao messaged, prompting Li Yifei to delete a drafted message and reply, "Good night, my love. I love you."
"I love you too, very much!" Chu Xiaoyao replied before closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep.
Scrolling through his phone, Li Yifei suddenly paused, eyes widening in surprise. He saw a message from someone named ’I’m the Big Baby’: "Daddy, I love you. Take care of yourself."
’I’m the Big Baby’ was the name of his eldest daughter, Li Yufei, a name she insistently made Li Yifei add. Usually, she didn’t use electronic devices much due to Ning Xin’er’s request. As the most mature and obedient child at home, Li Yufei didn’t strongly demand to use electronic devices.
She sent him a message! Li Yifei’s heart surged, his face breaking into an earnest smile. For a moment, it felt as if he had gained boundless strength.
They say love exposes vulnerabilities but also grants armor in an instant. Parental love, however, is eternal armor. And the actions of understanding children, in return, fortify this armor.
Staring at the few words sent by his daughter, Li Yifei felt immensely strong, as though a fundamental change occurred within him.
In high spirits, Li Yifei found it hard to calm down. He wanted to fly home immediately, stand by his daughter’s bed, watch her wake in the morning, and give her a big hug and a gentle cheek kiss.
Because he wanted to return home soon to be with his family, Li Yifei felt the need to wrap up his matters here quickly, not wanting to keep his loved ones waiting.
His phone vibrated, and Li Yifei exhaled deeply, choosing not to check it immediately. Instead, he quickly replied to his daughter with a long message, "Daddy’s good girl, Yufei, I miss you too, thinking of you all the time. I love you like mommy does. Daddy will finish things here quickly and return home to be with you and mommies. I know you’re sensible, taking care of your siblings and helping out. I’m proud of you. Didn’t I ask mommy to give you a camera last time? When free, take some photos and send them to daddy, so I can share in your happiness and stay involved in your lives."
After sending, Li Yifei pursed his lips and took a moment to compose himself before checking the new message.
It came from someone named ’Xiaohua.’ Li Yifei frowned, as his phone typically didn’t have numbers from strangers. He remembered everyone’s names, but who was Xiaohua?
Opening the message, he understood, as it read, "Is Sarama with you?"
"Why ask this?" Li Yifei wondered aloud.
Wu Shuwei didn’t know why she posed the question. She had just finished a shower, glanced at the time, and wasn’t sure if Li Yifei was asleep. She sent the question nonetheless and regretted it immediately, though it couldn’t be unsent.
Even if Li Yifei genuinely was with Sarama, it wasn’t something she could control.
That night, watching Sarama’s enthusiasm toward Li Yifei, her gaze, her shy yet emotively charged demeanor while speaking to him, Wu Shuwei couldn’t stop replaying these moments as she lay down.
If... Sarama took the initiative, would Li Yifei go along with it?
Probably not. She considered herself quite the beauty, and even when drunk, he hadn’t taken advantage. So, it seemed improbable he’d do anything with Sarama, but what if? The saying goes, all men stray; even her dad had more than one woman besides her mom. And Li Yifei often mentioned having many women, suggesting he wasn’t anchored. So, if faced with a bold approach from a Dubai princess, could he resist?
Wu Shuwei knew she couldn’t control Li Yifei and had no right to, but internally, as someone uninterested in marriage, she wanted Li Yifei to be a better friend and not so frivolous. Although friendships are about companionship, a person’s character matters too.
Conversely, if something did happen, would Wu Shuwei stop being friends with him?
Li Yifei was not like her other friends; he was distinct, unique. Despite potential flaws, Wu Shuwei believed she’d still value the friendship.
With these thoughts, sleep evaded her as she rarely lay with her phone, turning back and forth, waiting for his response—especially a message from a man.
The wait was shorter than expected, yet it felt eternal. Wu Shuwei wondered if Li Yifei had fallen asleep, missing her point, then a reply appeared—a question mark.
Wu Shuwei bit her lip, nearly punching her screen, having agonized over the question only to get a single question mark back. What did that mean?
"Never mind, I’m going to sleep." She prepared to send but withheld it, waiting a full minute before deleting the words and deciding not to respond, leaving him to wonder.
Throwing her phone aside, she lay for a bit but eventually picked it up, thinking that he might have already set it aside to flirt or do something more with Sarama...
Retrieving her phone, she stared at the screen in determination for a moment before finally sending, "Just tell me, is Sarama with you or not? Just answer yes or no!"
