Cheng Wei advanced towards Tang Yun with a ferocious look, step by step.

"Cheng Wei, what do you want to do?" Tang Yun took two steps back with a look of horror and spoke.

"I certainly don't want to lie in bed for a week, Tang, so I'm going to have to inconvenience you." Cheng Wei said, then suddenly grabbed Tang Yun's arm with his right hand and twisted it in the opposite direction!

"Ah!" A piercing scream echoed in the bathroom.

Cheng Wei was ruthless, he actually twisted Tang Yun's right hand until it broke.

Tang Yun's face turned pale, he covered his arm, and beads of sweat kept dripping down.

Cheng Wei turned around, looking warily at Lin Chen behind him, "Are you satisfied now?"

Lin Chen nodded, "Hmm, mostly satisfied."

"So, can I go now?" Cheng Wei said hastily.

In Cheng Wei's eyes, Lin Chen was simply a demon; he wanted nothing more than to leave this place immediately.

"Who said you could go? You might not have to lie in bed for seven days, but a little lesson is still necessary," saying this, his figure flashed in front of Cheng Wei.

"Slap!"

A loud slap sounded, Cheng Wei flew sideways, spitting out a mouthful of blood with several teeth in it.

"Remember, this is the first and the last time, you won't be so lucky next time," Lin Chen said coldly.

"Yes, yes," Cheng Wei said, covering his swollen face and nodding constantly.

Tang Yun, pale as a ghost, watched the scene unfold, and his hatred for Lin Chen had reached its peak.

Lin Chen slowly approached Tang Yun, a cold look in his eyes, "I warned you not to provoke me, it seems you took my words for nothing but the wind."

"Lin Chen, if you dare touch me, our Tang family won't let you off," Tang Yun said coldly, enduring the pain.

"The Tang family? Well then, I'll see just how formidable your Tang family really is!" With that, Lin Chen kicked out with a lash-like roundhouse kick that landed heavily on Tang Yun's chest.

Tang Yun flew out like a broken kite, landing straight in the urinal.

A disgusting scent wafted over; Tang Yun tried to climb out of the urinal, but several of his ribs had been broken by Lin Chen's kick, and he couldn't move at all.

Cheng Wei, watching Tang Yun moan in pain in the urinal, felt his eyelids twitch and was glad of his earlier choice.

"This is now your issue to deal with, remember not to provoke me," Lin Chen said coldly, looking at Cheng Wei who was trembling all over.

"Yes, certainly," Cheng Wei responded eagerly.

Lin Chen had just left the bathroom and not gotten far when he suddenly saw Li Meiying and Wei Dayong talking about something in the grove.

Didn't the teacher break up with this guy? Lin Chen curiously hid behind a tree.

Li Meiying's face looked somewhat troubled, "Wei Dayong, didn't we agree that the money would be repaid at the end of the year?"

"Repay at the end of the year? That was because you were my girlfriend then. Now what are you to me? If you don't pay the money in three days, I'll sue you in court," Wei Dayong said coldly.

"You, you're shameless!" Li Meiying said angrily.

Because her brother was sick and in the hospital, Li Meiying had borrowed a hundred thousand yuan from Wei Dayong, with the agreement that she would repay it by the end of the year. But she had not expected Wei Dayong to suddenly renege on the agreement, demanding repayment now.

She had already spent all her savings on her brother's medical treatment, and she was still in deep debt; there was no way she had the money to repay him now.

Wei Dayong shook the IOU in his hand with a smug look, "Li Meiying, if you can't come up with the money, you'll end up in jail. That'll be what you get for betraying me."

"You bastard!" Li Meiying had never expected Wei Dayong to be such a person.

"However, considering we did have a relationship, I might have a way for you. If you dine with me, I might extend the repayment date," Wei Dayong said with a smile.

"What!" Upon hearing Wei Dayong's words, Li Meiying hesitated.

"Actually, it's just a farewell meal, let's part on good terms. If you won't even give me this much face, then don't blame me for turning ruthless." Wei Dayong said coldly.

After pondering for a moment, Li Meiying finally nodded, "I can have dinner with you, but the date for returning the money should still stick to the originally agreed day."

"No problem!" Wei Dayong said with a smile.

The two of them then left the woods one after the other.

Teacher Li is too naive; there's definitely something fishy going on.

Lin Chen knew Wei Dayong's character; this invitation for Li Meiying surely wasn't as simple as just having a meal.

After Li Meiying got into Wei Dayong's car and left the school, Lin Chen also took a taxi and closely followed behind their car.

The car left the city center and arrived at a five-star hotel.

Just as suspected, this guy was up to no good, Lin Chen realized Wei Dayong's intentions as soon as he saw him taking Li Meiying to the hotel.

"Ding-dong, system mission obtained: Rescue the beauty teacher from the tiger's mouth. Mission hint: Do not use force."

Hearing the system's mission prompt, Lin Chen felt an urge to curse; not using force? Was he supposed to talk Wei Dayong into releasing Teacher Li?

Lin Chen got out of the car and walked into the hotel where the two were checking in.

Lin Chen frowned and dialed Sun Xu's phone number.

"Sun Xu, find out which room Wei Dayong checked into at the Tianfu Hotel."

"Okay, wait a sec," Sun Xu's voice came from the other end.

It wasn't long before Sun Xu called back, "Boss, they've booked room 401 on the third floor."

"Good!" Lin Chen nodded, hurried ahead into the elevator, used the master key provided by Sun Xu to open the door to the room, and snuck in to hide behind the curtains before they arrived.

Lin Chen had just hidden himself when Wei Dayong and Li Meiying came into the room.

Wei Dayong said with a smile, "Meiying, take a seat!"

Li Meiying frowned and said, "Wasn't it supposed to be dinner, Wei Dayong? Why are we at a hotel?"

Wei Dayong smiled, "The restaurants outside are too chaotic. I feel the hotel is quieter, and we can have a good talk."

"I have nothing to discuss with you." Now Li Meiying was utterly repulsed by Wei Dayong.

"Don't say that," said Wei Dayong as the waiter brought a bottle of red wine and some appetizers.

Wei Dayong smiled and said, "Meiying, go wash your hands. I'll open the red wine for you. This is our last dinner together, and I want to leave you with good memories."

Li Meiying nodded, stood up, and went to the restroom, while Wei Dayong quickly poured two glasses of red wine, sprinkling a considerable amount of powder into Li Meiying's glass.

"I knew it wasn't right!" Lin Chen felt a chill in his heart; he hadn't expected Wei Dayong to be so shameless, using such a despicable method to try and prey on Teacher Li.

If he could use force, Lin Chen would have burst in already, but to complete the mission, he couldn't use force; what was he to do!

But Lin Chen quickly came up with an idea, silently jumping out through the window behind him.

The third floor might be high for others, but not for Lin Chen—it was as easy as turning over his hand.

He climbed down the drainpipe and left the hotel, slipping into an alley.

Lin Chen looked around and walked into a bar.

Pulling out a stack of cash, Lin Chen approached a manager at the bar: "I need your help to find a few women, preferably stronger, older, uglier."
