Super Strong Little Divine Farmer
Chapter 254: Soft Persimmon
Lin Chen once tried to dodge, but An Xiaodi simply gave him no chance.
The more he dodged, the closer An Xiaodi stuck to him, even occasionally letting out a few coquettish moans.
"Lin Chen, your breathing is so hurried, your heart is beating so fast, can you still take it?" An Xiaodi's voice was both soft and flirtatious.
"Xiaodi, I need to go to the bathroom!"
"Hold it in; the song isn't over yet!"
"Xiaodi, I really can't hold it anymore!"
"Really?"
"Xiaodi, really!" Lin Chen said through gritted teeth.
An Xiaodi's eyes were like silk in water, filled with a temptress's allure.
"I'll think about it!"
Like receiving a pardon, Lin Chen rushed into his bedroom, heaving deeply, and it took a good while before his mood returned to calm.
Fortunately, Zuo Sisi came back not long after, and An Xiaodi's uniform temptation plan was regrettably nipped in the bud.
The next day, with martial arts alliance training awaiting him, Lin Chen let out a long sigh of relief.
Having such a seductive fairy at home, he was truly struggling to hold back.
The next day, Lin Chen sat absent-mindedly in the classroom chair, with the image of An Xiaodi in that see-through outfit emerging in his mind from time to time.
"Lin Chen! I can complete elemental transformation now!" Hao Lin suddenly ran over, bursting with excitement.
With a flip of his palm, the grains of sand in his hand changed from squares to circles.
"How about that?" Hao Lin said excitedly.
"Not bad." Lin Chen nodded with a smile.
"Don't be discouraged, Lin Chen, you're already doing well, and I believe you'll achieve elemental transformation soon too," Hao Lin comforted.
Lin Chen looked depressed. I don't feel discouraged at all, right? Transformation? I can cast spells already.
"Wow, Hao Lin, you're so strong. I bet I'll definitely be the last one in our class to achieve elemental transformation," a girl next to Lin Chen said with envy.
"Don't worry, you definitely won't be the last one. Don't we have Lin Chen to fall back on?" Sun Peng, the fat boy in the front row, sneered.
"Lin Chen?" Looking at Lin Chen, the girl's face suddenly showed a confident smile.
That's right, there's still Lin Chen. Then I have nothing to worry about.
Lin Chen was speechless. Am I really that weak in your eyes?
As everyone was discussing, Lu Xiaofeng walked into the classroom.
The class immediately quieted down, and Lu Xiaofeng glanced over everyone and said, "This lesson is theoretical, we'll talk about ghosts and demons!"
"Ghosts, and demons?"
The classroom buzzed with excitement upon hearing the subject.
"Teacher, do ghosts and spirits truly exist in this world?" a timid girl asked.
"Of course, they do. I've seen them myself." Before Lu Xiaofeng could answer, a boy chimed in.
"What you saw must have been a man-demon, right!"
Laughter erupted throughout the classroom.
However, Lin Chen was quite interested in this topic, since he had just dealt with a snake demon yesterday.
"Alright everyone, quiet down and let's watch a slideshow about ghosts and demons," said Lu Xiaofeng as she turned on the projector.
The students stopped their chatter and all eyes were turned toward the screen.
"Ghosts and demons exist for real, and they are hiding in every corner of our city. This slideshow will introduce you to a world unknown to you," Lu Xiaofeng said solemnly.
All the trainees watched the content on the slideshow with faces filled with shock.
After the slideshow ended, the classroom was silent. Most of these trainees were from influential families, and in their eyes, the world was a beautiful place at worst inhabited by a few criminals who would be dealt with by the police. They had never imagined that such terrifying things were lurking right beside them.
When the slideshow ended, Lu Xiaofeng wore a serious expression, "You are the cream of the crop, selected through rigorous processes. Many of you will become Guardians to protect the safety of our city, to strangle the demons hidden among us that threaten humanity."
The expressions of the students in the classroom varied; there was worry, fear, and of course, some were eager to try, finding it very thrilling.
Lu Xiaofeng scanned the crowd and continued, "Now, let me first introduce you to demons!"
"Demons are classified into three levels, Minor Demons, Demon Kings, and Celestial Demons. In the city, we often encounter Minor Demons. Of course, some bold Demon Kings dare to appear in the city, but that is rare. As for Celestial Demons, they are not something we can deal with, and they hardly ever show up in the city," Lu Xiaofeng explained.
At this point, Qin Mengfan suddenly raised her hand and asked, "Then how do we distinguish the levels of demons?"
Lu Xiaofeng nodded, "That's a good question. To differentiate the levels of demons, you must look at the demon patterns."
The projector zoomed in on the slideshow, showing a Minor Demon with a crescent-shaped mark on its forehead.
"One demon pattern for Minor Demons, two for Demon Kings, and three for Celestial Demons?" Lu Xiaofeng pointed at the demon patterns on the screen.
"After you graduate, if you cooperate as a team, there shouldn't be any problems dealing with Minor Demons. But if you encounter a Demon King with two patterns, you'd better turn around and run. That's not something you can handle," Lu Xiaofeng said earnestly.
Looking at the introduction to demons on the slideshow, Lin Chen finally understood that what he encountered that day must have been a Minor Demon. Luckily, it was a lower-level demon; if it had been a Demon King, he would have probably been done for.
The scene shifted, and Lu Xiaofeng began to introduce ghosts.
"Ghosts are formed from human resentment and are classified into three levels: Minor Ghosts, Vicious Ghosts, and Ghost Kings. They are separated by the color of the ghost, with Minor Ghosts being white, Vicious Ghosts red, and Ghost Kings cyan."
After discussing demons and ghosts, seeing that the atmosphere in the classroom had become quite tense, Lu Xiaofeng smiled and said, "Don't be too nervous. In our city, we have professional Guardians who are responsible for eliminating these threats to humanity, and there are even demon hunting teams organized by the Martial Arts Union. So, you can rest assured."
Demon hunting team? Lin Chen was intrigued. Now that he could cast spells, but lacked practical experience, which was a weakness, joining a demon hunting team could not only earn him some pocket money but, more importantly, would increase his combat experience. Decided, Lin Chen planned to try out for the demon hunting team when he had the time.
Time passed quickly, and the one-month intensive training was over in the blink of an eye. The last day would be an assessment.
Lin Chen knew that if he performed too outstandingly, he would easily attract attention, so it was better to stay low-key.
Therefore, Lin Chen's training scores consistently dangled among the last few spots.
In this group of trainees, Zhou Ming ranked first, Qin Mengfan second, and Hao Lin surprisingly third.
As the final test approached, the atmosphere in the class became tense, and the topic of conversation also focused on the last test.
"I heard the test will eliminate the last four ranked students."
"I really hope it's not me, that would be so embarrassing."
"Don't worry, actually there should be only three places, because one is already taken."
"Right, we forgot about Lin Chen, hahaha! Luckily we have him."
Hearing the discussions around him, Lin Chen smiled helplessly, it seemed they really considered him an easy target.
