Lin Chen stood arrogantly in an open area of the forest and said indifferently, "Don't bother looking, it's just me."

"What? Just you? Lin Chen, have you come to surrender?" Sun Chao asked in confusion.

"I'm here to eliminate you," Lin Chen said with a nonchalant smile.

"You, a single person, intend to take down the three of us?" Sun Chao burst into laughter upon hearing Lin Chen's words.

"Ha ha, Lin Chen, have you lost your mind? You, a piece of trash, dare to take on three?"

"Have you got water in your brain to have such a stupid idea?"

The three of them were laughing so hard they almost fell over.

Lin Chen felt a bout of frustration, being looked down upon again.

He took a step forward and said indifferently, "I'll finish the fight in one minute."

"I think we don't need a minute, we'll finish you off in seconds," Sun Chao laughed heartily.

"Wanna try?" A cold smile crossed Lin Chen's lips.

Sun Chao gave the other three a look.

The three swiftly moved to encircle Lin Chen from different directions.

"Die!"

Sun Chao's eyes glinted ferociously as he extended his palm, water elements gathering in his hand.

Meanwhile, the other two were gathering wood elements and earth elements simultaneously.

But just then, Sun Chao's face changed dramatically, as he noticed a streak of fire heading towards him.

"No, this can't be!" Before he could react, his chest was struck by a fire spell.

"Bang!"

Accompanied by a muffled impact, Sun Chao was blasted to the ground, a severe pain eliciting a scream from him.

The light at his chest, signaling his life, was extinguished in an instant.

The other two were stunned by this scene, and the elements they had been gathering dispersed in a flash.

Holy crap, that was fast!

Is this really that useless Lin Chen?

The two looked at Lin Chen with a dazed expression, almost unable to believe what was happening before them.

"Aren't you two gathering elemental energy to kill him?"

The already 'deceased' Sun Chao bellowed in a mix of panic and rage.

The two finally snapped to their senses, hastily continuing their elemental gathering.

"Thud, thud." Qin Mengfan and Hao Lin both collapsed to the ground.

"Lin Chen, you bastard, why aren't you here yet?" Qin Mengfan clenched her fists as she lay on the ground, cursing in her heart.
