"If you don't come out, I'll smash the door and drag you out," the woman said, glancing at Zhao Xiaowen beside Lin Chen and spoke authoritatively.

"What exactly do you want?" Lin Chen became a bit angry. Zhao Xiaowen was in grave danger, and he had no time to waste on this strange woman.

"To save her. I don't approve of the way you were going to rid Zhao Xiaowen of the poison," the woman stated coldly.

"You know Xiaowen?" Lin Chen was intrigued.

"Any more nonsense from you, and I'll actually break the car," the woman said impatiently.

"Fine, I'm getting out," Lin Chen said. Although he did not know this woman, from her anxious look, he sensed that she truly wanted to help Xiaowen.

Lin Chen opened the car door and got out, while the woman swiftly climbed inside.

As she was about to roll up the window, Lin Chen suddenly peeked in: "I need to take responsibility for Xiaowen, you won't use that method, right? If so, I'd rather do it myself."

"Which method?" The woman was taken aback.

"Get lost!" The woman held back the urge to curse and rolled up the window immediately.

Lin Chen stepped back two paces; though the window was closed, he could see everything inside very clearly.

The woman nodded, turned, and walked down the path. Although she seemed not to walk fast, she was at the edge of the woods in a blink of an eye.
