"Failed to ambush me and now trying to escape?" Watching the fleeing turtle, Ye Qiu couldn’t help but find it amusing; to have been ambushed by a turtle. If he hadn’t focused a thread of his mind on his surroundings, this big guy might have succeeded.

Ye Qiu immediately pursued, intrigued by this massive creature.

The turtle saw Ye Qiu chasing rapidly behind, frightened, it hurriedly paddled its limbs, swimming forward.

The chill wind rushed in, whistling into the turtle shell, as the giant turtle popped its head out, surveying its surroundings. Realizing it was no longer in the water but in the sky, it nearly shed its shell in fright, immediately begging for mercy: "Spare me, master, spare me!"

When Ye Qiu heard the turtle speaking supplications, he thought he misheard until the turtle extended its head, staring into Ye Qiu’s eyes, confirming the human speech indeed came from this giant turtle.

"These days, even turtles can talk?" Ye Qiu gazed at the turtle with interest.
