The man with the duckbill cap had just hung up and was about to drive away when he looked up to see several Mercedes cars approaching closely, surrounding his vehicle tightly. He quickly realized someone had spotted him. Without struggling, he honestly opened the car door and got out.

Luo Sihai’s Rolls-Royce stopped in front, and he slowly emerged, walking up to the man with the duckbill cap, looked him in the eyes, and said lightly, “Take him away!”

“Who are you? Do you know who I am?” the man asked.

Luo Sihai casually cleaned his ears, then flicked his fingernails, “I don’t care who you are. You dare to cause trouble in Donghai coming from Modu.”

Before the man with the duckbill cap could react, everything went dark as he was pushed into a nearby Mercedes.

Luo Sihai checked the time, it was getting late, he sighed, took out his phone, looked at Su Lin’s number, and after much thought, decided not to call. Su Lin had several girlfriends, and at this time, he was probably busy.

Luo Sihai, though not committed to any one woman, had his fair share and knew that now was not the time to disturb him.

“Forget it, no need to call as long as those two are not in trouble,” he muttered to himself.

Unaware of these events, Li Ziyu was driving on the overpass. She found it odd that the usually busy Donghai city overpass, especially at night with constant traffic, was strangely empty for several minutes without a single car in sight.

She didn’t think much of it until she noticed several Passats suddenly appearing in her rearview mirror. Normally, this would not be an issue, but she became alert when she noticed the Passats had their license plates covered.

She was about to call her family for help when several cars started driving towards them from the opposite direction.

Jiang Ruoxi was startled, thinking the oncoming cars were about to hit them, “Ziyu, something’s off.”

Li Ziyu continued to drive calmly, a faint smile on her face, “Indeed, something’s off, but no worries, those are our people.”

With that, Li Ziyu accelerated to 120 km/h, brushing past the approaching cars.

“Boom, boom, boom~!!” A series of crashes sounded from behind them.

“It’s Xiao Feiyu’s doing~!!” Jiang Ruoxi said angrily.

Li Ziyu nodded, “This is likely a test, a probe into our security. Ruoxi, be careful, these people are probably targeting you.”

“Ah? Why me? Aren’t they after you?”

Li Ziyu chuckled, “Because no one was watching me before dinner, but someone was already watching you. Call your family, have them arrange a bodyguard for you. Otherwise, you could go back to Modu now.”

Jiang Ruoxi shook her head without thinking, “Return to Modu? Forget it. Modu is Xiao Feiyu’s turf. In Donghai, he can at most send a few skilled people to abduct me, but in Modu, it’s his playground.”

Li Ziyu raised an eyebrow, “Is the Jiang family that ineffective in Modu?”
