Supreme Electromagnetic Tyrant
Chapter 766 - 474 Zog Soz
CHAPTER 766: CHAPTER 474 ZOG SOZ
Ji Xinghuo did not let his Shadow Clone rashly attack; they stood hundreds of meters apart, facing off against the giant, who was also observing him.
"Outsider."
An odd voice echoed in the Shadow Clone’s mind. Although it spoke in True Dragon Language, the tone was flat, without any modulation or a trace of emotion, it said, "What is your purpose for intruding into my secret realm?"
This was a kind of mental communication ability.
The Shadow Clone hesitated for half a second before replying, "I happened to discover the entrance of a void rift, so I came in to have a look."
"Lies."
The voice of the octopus-headed giant suddenly rose in pitch, instantly piercing through the lie.
An invisible fluctuation emanated from the giant’s body, a mixture of rage and a cold, bloodthirsty aura that could invade the mind, yet it was very cautious, restraining its own emotions.
The Shadow Clone showed no fear, only feeling something eerie.
"Outsider." The giant seemed somewhat wary, "If you leave the secret realm now, I, Zog Soz, a distinguished Darosivian, will be quite generous in allowing you to keep your life."
Zog Soz?
Darosivians?
Ji Xinghuo had never heard of this race, and the other party’s name was transliterated without any actual corresponding meaning in True Dragon Language.
He couldn’t help speculating that the giant must be an alien species from outside the True Dragon Territory.
Perhaps, not even a native of the Orion Arm.
"How about it?"
Seeing that Ji Xinghuo did not respond, the giant pressed on with another question.
"Darosivians, I have never heard of them," the Shadow Clone spoke truthfully, with a hint of provocation at the corners of his mouth, and said calmly, "But I am very willing to see the extent of your strength, and I quite like this secret realm."
Zog Soz did not respond.
But the layer of transparent energy around his body that resembled a thin mist began to boil rapidly—apparently a manifestation of psychic power, changing in correspondence to his emotions.
Ji Xinghuo, seeing this substance for the first time, could directly sense the giant’s emotions.
That was rage!
Within the intense anger, there was a mix of doubt and suspicion.
At this moment, Zog Soz seemed to make a decision. His left tentacle rolled up, and at the end appeared an object resembling a monocular. It was about half a meter in length, one end larger than the other, but only the larger end was fitted with a lens.
Through the eyes of the Shadow Clone, Ji Xinghuo saw the monocular too and immediately understood—this was the target he had been looking for!
The lens, it was a fragment of the Wanxiang Star Pupil!
A crack opened on the front of Zog Soz’s head, revealing a murky, gigantic eye. This eye seemed to be implanted later in life, giving it the ability to see. The giant held the monocular to its eye with its left tentacle, gazing at the Shadow Clone.
In an instant, several tentacles on the giant’s chin trembled, and that eye looked as though it saw the most absurd, the most shocking, and the most terrifying thing in the world.
The energy mist around him went through wild transformations, its color becoming chaotic like dye in a vat.
"How could this be!"
"Fifth Rank!"
"You are just a Fifth Rank Mutant, how do you possess so many abilities? Even more than I do! So many Star Fall abilities, and even Solar Eclipse abilities, this is impossible! What level are your abilities all about?"
"What race are Earth humans?"
"And who is Ji Xinghuo?"
"This is merely one of your Shadow Clones! Fourth Level Shadow Clone..."
"Eclipse Species Ancestor Dragon Vein, what’s that?"
"Who exactly are you!"
A series of incoherent voices of the mind arose, the giant fell into a state of madness. Zog Soz’s psyche appeared to have suffered a huge shock, unable to accept reality, with all its understanding overturned.
Ji Xinghuo was also greatly shocked, staring at the monocular in Zog Soz’s hand.
From the giant’s words, a lot of information was revealed.
All of it related to himself.
"Can that monocular actually gather my real information?" Ji Xinghuo couldn’t help but speculate that the fragment possessed a part of the Wanxiang Star Pupil’s functionality which seemed more abundant than the pieces he had obtained before.
However, the fragment was clearly incomplete; it could only gather information and not directly enhance fighting power.
Nor could it absorb Spiritual Origin Ability.
Ji Xinghuo heaved a sigh of relief internally. If Zog Soz could also absorb Spiritual Origin Ability, that would be extremely troublesome.
After all, the fragment was just a fragment; his own Wanxiang Star Pupil was the unique main body!
Suddenly, Zog Soz ceased trembling.
The psychic mist around his body abruptly calmed, turning cold and rational, and the Shadow Clone felt an extreme malice.
"Outsider." Zog Soz said indifferently, "Have your true body come here. Today, between us, only one will live."
"Oh?"
The Shadow Clone chuckled lightly.
Clearly, Zog Soz had guessed some of the truth, yet could not be completely certain.
Back when he was in Yunxiao City, Ji Xinghuo had realized something: he could sense the location of the fragment, while the fragment in turn did not know of the Wanxiang Star Pupil’s existence. However, from the shape of the fragment, it could be inferred that it was incomplete.
Zog Soz, like Linyan Yongfeng, had fashioned the fragment into equipment, carried it with him and had not integrated it into his body.
Their use of the fragment was hindered.
All of a sudden, Zog Soz looked toward the sea outside the island, in the direction of the secret realm’s entrance rift.
Eight identical Ji Xinghuos leaped out from the void above the sea surface, quickly flying toward the island. The guards that were originally at the entrance were now rushing towards the palace, and the more than two thousand Mutants living on the island were also converging from all directions.
As these Mutants got close to the palace, they didn’t approach further but spread out to maintain distance.
The Shadow Clone swept a gaze around the circle.
